Awakening of the spirit.... love....

A so-called awakening of the spirit will always take place when self-refinement has taken place through active neighbourly love. Every labour of love purifies the soul and thus breaks the shackles of the spirit, for the spirit slumbers in man as long as the covering is still thick. Now, however, strength can be implored through heartfelt prayer for this act of detachment of the spirit; although this will always happen on the path of active love, a person who prays will also be more easily able to work with love. For a person who prays has a certain humility within himself and therefore serving is not difficult for him either. Every prayer conveys strength, and what a person requires great willpower for, he can easily master after fervent prayer. The power of prayer is immense and yet it is not recognized enough. This is why people sometimes have to struggle a great deal before the spirit in them is released, whereas fervent prayer leads them almost effortlessly to the heights. Prayer in spirit and in truth unites the human being with God, i.e. he himself seeks the connection to Him, and since God Himself is love, the human being's feelings must now express themselves in love.... But a work of neighbourly love likewise draws God as love itself.... But love frees the spirit in man so that it can unite with the spiritual outside of itself, from which light and strength, i.e. knowledge and power, is imparted to it. Only then can the human being's nature become as it corresponds to divine will and the soul will mature and develop upwards in earthly life....

Despertar do Espírito.... Love....

O chamado despertar do espírito ocorrerá sempre quando um aperfeiçoamento de si mesmo tiver precedido um amor de vizinhança trabalhador. Toda obra de amor purifica a alma e assim rompe as grilhetas do espírito, pois o espírito baba no ser humano, enquanto a cobertura ainda estiver apertada. No entanto, através da oração sincera pode ser invocada a força para esse ato de afrouxamento do espírito; embora isso aconteça sempre no caminho do amor ativo, uma pessoa que pede também será mais facilmente capaz de trabalhar com amor. Para uma pessoa que pede traz dentro de si uma certa humildade e, portanto, servir também não é difícil para ela. Cada oração dá força, e o que uma pessoa precisa de grande força de vontade para que ela possa facilmente administrar depois de uma oração sincera. O poder da oração é imenso e, no entanto, muito pouco reconhecido. É por isso que as pessoas às vezes têm de lutar muito antes que o espírito nelas se torne livre, enquanto a oração íntima as leva quase sem esforço para cima. A oração em espírito e em verdade conecta o ser humano com Deus, ou seja, ele busca a conexão com Ele mesmo, e como o próprio Deus é amor, o sentimento do ser humano deve agora se expressar em amor.... Mas uma obra de amor ao próximo também atrai a Deus como o próprio amor.... O amor, porém, liberta o espírito no ser humano para que ele possa unir-se com o espiritual além de si mesmo, do qual luz e força, isto é, conhecimento e poder, lhe são transmitidos. Só então a natureza do ser humano poderá tornar-se conforme corresponde à vontade divina, e a alma amadurecerá e desenvolver-se-á na vida terrena...._>Amém
