Sin of unkindness.... (supplement to no. 1914)

Violating the commandment to love one's neighbour is also a sin, but a sin that the being only commits in the stage of free will, as a human being, and therefore must not be confused with the former sin.... of rebellion against God.... For this is a lack of love which is not a conscious rebellion against God Himself, because the human being neither recognizes God correctly nor his actual position towards God and his fellow human being. He does have a sense of good and evil, and as he fulfils the urge to evil more, he thickens the shell of his soul, thus adding further injustice to the former injustice and thereby making it more difficult for himself to free himself from the great guilt of sin of his former rebellion. The human being is therefore born in a burdened state in order to become free from it and can only increase his burden through sins that are committed without love. As a result, he can regress, whereas the purpose of life on earth is to rid himself of the last remnants of his former offence against God after an infinitely long journey through creation.... This great sin is the reason for his life on earth.... Without this sin, there is no justification for a being's existence in a world that offers suffering and sorrow, tribulation and hardship to the embodied being. All this is merely a means to an end. But as soon as this great sin is not recognized or denied, every work of creation, including man, would be unfounded, and creation would then betray neither wisdom nor love. The sin of unkindness, however, would be too small to result in eternal punishment, but a life lived in a manner pleasing to God would never be able to earn eternal reward, as neither would be in proportion to the merit or sin of man on earth. The former apostasy from God, however, is such a significant spiritual event that man cannot grasp it, but only by believing in it can he solve the task on earth.... to restore the right relationship with God as it was from the beginning....

Sin of Unkindness.... (Adição ao No. 1914)

Violar o mandamento do amor ao próximo é igualmente um pecado, mas um pecado que o ser só comete na etapa do livre arbítrio, como ser humano, portanto não deve ser confundido com o antigo pecado.... da rebelião contra Deus..... não deve ser confundido com o antigo pecado de rebelião contra Deus. Pois esta é uma falta de amor que não é uma rebelião consciente contra o próprio Deus, porque o ser humano não reconhece Deus corretamente nem sua posição atual em relação a Deus e ao seu próximo. Ele tem de fato um sentimento de bem e mal, e como segue mais o impulso do mal, ele engrossa a casca da sua alma, acrescentando assim outra injustiça à injustiça anterior e assim torna mais difícil para si mesmo libertar-se da grande culpa de pecado da sua rebelião anterior. Assim o homem vem ao mundo já em estado de fardo para se libertar dele, e só pode aumentar o seu fardo através dos pecados cometidos na indelicadeza. Ele pode assim moldar-se regressivamente, enquanto o propósito da vida terrena é livrar-se da última escória da sua transgressão anterior contra Deus depois de uma caminhada infinitamente longa através da criação.... Este grande pecado é a razão da sua vida terrena.... Sem este pecado, não há justificação para a existência de um ser num mundo que oferece sofrimento e tristeza, tribulação e sofrimento ao ser encarnado. Tudo isto é apenas um meio para atingir um fim. Mas assim que este grande pecado não fosse reconhecido ou negado, toda a obra da criação, incluindo o ser humano, seria infundada, e a criação não trairia nem a sabedoria nem o amor. O pecado da indelicadeza, porém, seria muito pequeno para resultar em castigo eterno, mas uma vida de uma maneira agradável a Deus nunca seria capaz de ganhar recompensa eterna, já que nem seria proporcional ao mérito ou pecado do ser humano na terra. A apostasia passada de Deus, porém, é um evento espiritual tão significativo que o ser humano não pode entendê-la, mas somente acreditando nela pode resolver a tarefa na Terra.... de restaurar o relacionamento correto com Deus como foi desde o início....
