Sin of unkindness.... (supplement to no. 1914)

Violating the commandment to love one's neighbour is also a sin, but a sin that the being only commits in the stage of free will, as a human being, and therefore must not be confused with the former sin.... of rebellion against God.... For this is a lack of love which is not a conscious rebellion against God Himself, because the human being neither recognizes God correctly nor his actual position towards God and his fellow human being. He does have a sense of good and evil, and as he fulfils the urge to evil more, he thickens the shell of his soul, thus adding further injustice to the former injustice and thereby making it more difficult for himself to free himself from the great guilt of sin of his former rebellion. The human being is therefore born in a burdened state in order to become free from it and can only increase his burden through sins that are committed without love. As a result, he can regress, whereas the purpose of life on earth is to rid himself of the last remnants of his former offence against God after an infinitely long journey through creation.... This great sin is the reason for his life on earth.... Without this sin, there is no justification for a being's existence in a world that offers suffering and sorrow, tribulation and hardship to the embodied being. All this is merely a means to an end. But as soon as this great sin is not recognized or denied, every work of creation, including man, would be unfounded, and creation would then betray neither wisdom nor love. The sin of unkindness, however, would be too small to result in eternal punishment, but a life lived in a manner pleasing to God would never be able to earn eternal reward, as neither would be in proportion to the merit or sin of man on earth. The former apostasy from God, however, is such a significant spiritual event that man cannot grasp it, but only by believing in it can he solve the task on earth.... to restore the right relationship with God as it was from the beginning....

Il peccato del disamore - (completamento al Nr. 1914)

Infrangere il Comandamento dell’amore per il prossimo è peccato, ma quello che l’essere commette solo nello stadio della libera volontà, come uomo, quindi non dev’essere confuso con il peccato di una volta, la ribellione contro Dio. Perché qui si tratta di un’assenza d’amore, che non è una cosciente ribellione contro Dio Stesso, perché l’uomo non riconosce né Dio né la sua vera posizione verso Dio e verso il prossimo. Lui ha bensì il sentimento per il bene e per il male, e dato che segue di più la spinta verso il male, ispessisce l’involucro della sua anima, aggiunge quindi all’ingiustizia di una volta un’ulteriore ingiustizia ed aggrava con ciò a sé stesso il diventare libero dalla grande colpa di peccato della sua ribellione di una volta. Quindi, l’uomo viene al mondo già in uno stato aggravato per diventarne libero, e può soltanto aumentare il suo peso attraverso i peccati, che vengono commessi nell’assenza d’amore. A causa di questo può formarsi in retrocessione, mentre lo scopo della vita terrena è, dopo un infinitamente lungo cammino attraverso la Creazione, di liberarsi delle ultime scorie del suo peccato di una volta contro Dio. Questo grande peccato è il motivo del suo cammino di vita terrena. Senza questo peccato manca ogni motivazione per l’esistenza di un essere in un mondo, che offre all’essere incorporato sofferenza e preoccupazione, afflizione e miseria. Tutto questo è semplicemente un mezzo allo scopo. Se però ora questo grande peccato viene rinnegato e non riconosciuto, ogni Opera di Creazione, anche l’uomo, sarebbe infondata, e la Creazione non rivelerebbe né Sapienza né Amore. Il peccato dell’assenza d’amore però sarebbe troppo minimo, per aver per conseguenza punizioni per l’Eternità; ma una vita compiacente a Dio non potrebbe mai procurare la ricompensa per l’Eternità, dato che ambedue non starebbero in rapporto verso il guadagno o verso il peccato dell’uomo sulla Terra. La caduta di una volta da Dio però è un avvenimento spirituale così significativo, che l’uomo non può afferrare, ma solo credendolo può risolvere il compito sulla Terra, ristabilire il giusto rapporto verso Dio, come era in principio.
