New lifestyle after the disaster....

It seems impossible to people that a natural disaster could have such an impact that people are forced to adopt a completely new way of life. And yet they are on the brink of it. This change of life will be unspeakably difficult for many a person, for whatever earthly activity he undertakes will be associated with obstacles of every kind and it will require immense love and patience in order to be able to carry it out. And yet everyone will have to double their earthly activity, for much will be demanded of those who work their way out of the unimaginable chaos through the labour of their hands. These people know love, they are willing to help and are now looking for the right opportunity to fully utilize their strength in the service of the one Who sends all suffering upon people, but Who can also take suffering away from people if He wants to. And that is why God will stand by those people with His help if the burden seems unbearable to them. Yet only a small proportion of humanity will be full believers and recognize the divine voice. The fully believing man only sees in the natural events the confirmation of the scriptures given from above. As soon as the great natural catastrophe shows its signs, he is doubly concerned to mould himself according to the will of God and to pray.... For his inner voice tells him when the time has come. He sees himself faced with great tasks but the human being must have finished with everything that still delights his heart, then the natural disaster will not cause him any significant damage, for its purpose is that the human being learns to separate himself from earthly possessions.... Whoever voluntarily gives up the latter will again receive from God what he needs for his life....

Neue Lebensführung nach der Katastrophe....

Unmöglich erscheint es den Menschen, daß sich eine Naturkatastrophe so auswirken könnte, daß die Menschen gezwungen sind zu einer völlig neuen Lebensführung. Und sie stehen doch unmittelbar davor. Es wird diese Umänderung des Lebens so manchem unsagbar schwerfallen, denn welche irdische Tätigkeit er auch verrichtet, sie wird mit Hindernissen jeglicher Art verbunden sein, und es wird übergroße Liebe und Geduld erfordern, um sie nun ausführen zu können. Und doch wird ein jeder seine irdische Tätigkeit verdoppeln müssen, denn es wird viel gefordert werden von denen, die durch ihrer Hände Arbeit sich ({scheinbar}?) aus dem unvorstellbaren Chaos herausarbeiten. Es kennen diese Menschen die Liebe, sie sind hilfsbereit und suchen nun die rechte Gelegenheit, um ihre Kraft voll und ganz auszunützen im Dienst Dessen, Der alles Leid über die Menschen sendet, Der aber auch das Leid von den Menschen nehmen kann, so Er es will. Und darum wird Gott jenen Menschen mit Seiner Hilfe zur Seite stehen, so ihnen die Last untragbar erscheint. Doch es wird nur ein kleiner Teil der Menschheit vollgläubig sein und die göttliche Stimme erkennen. Der vollgläubige Mensch sieht in dem Naturgeschehen nur die Bestätigung der von oben gegebenen Schriften. Sowie die große Naturkatastrophe ihre Anzeichen voraussendet, ist er doppelt bedacht, sich zu formen nach dem Willen Gottes und zu beten.... Denn ihm sagt es die innere Stimme, wenn die Zeit gekommen ist. Er sieht sich vor große Aufgaben gestellt, doch es muß der Mensch abgeschlossen haben mit allem, was sein Herz noch erfreut hat, dann wird ihm die Naturkatastrophe keinen nennenswerten Schaden anrichten, denn ihr Zweck ist, daß der Mensch lerne, sich zu trennen von irdischen Gütern.... Wer freiwillig letztere hingibt, wird wieder von Gott empfangen, was er zu seinem Leben nötig hat....
