Recognizing the truth.... self-love - love of neighbour....

A considerable time will pass before humanity's mind will be occupied with thoughts concerning the salvation of the soul. Everything spiritual is still a concept of the improbable for them, they are not yet willing to surrender their earthly interests. And self-love is an obstacle to recognizing what is most important in earthly life.... the soul's higher development. The degree of love is decisive for recognizing the truth. However, anyone who loves himself more than his neighbour is still a long way from recognizing the truth. For self-love is nothing divine, it strives for earthly goods and can therefore never have redeeming power. The human being only becomes free when he puts his own ego aside and his actions and thoughts are only directed towards making his neighbour's earthly lot bearable, then his soul becomes free from its covering and it no longer regards earthly life as the most important thing but concerns itself with spiritual life, with life after death and its actual earthly task. The human being will always reject every spiritual truth as long as his soul has not yet broken through the shell around him. One is the consequence of the other, and anyone with realization will try in vain to break through the barriers in order to help his fellow human being, and yet he should not become discouraged, for God Himself will help where the human being's strength is insufficient. There is no other way to change such people's mind than through drastic changes which make them realize the futility of what they previously aspired to as important. And the coming time will bring this about so that many a person will become thoughtful if he pays attention to what is happening around him. He will see changes take place, he will see people pass away and his view of life will be strongly shaken. And he will be blessed who draws his conclusions from this, who does not pass it by thoughtlessly and remembers his true purpose.... to help all those who need help.... For these redeem themselves through the love they give to their fellow human beings, for they become seeing.... They enter into contact with the eternal deity, Who is love Itself, and now the scales fall from his eyes. God wants to help those people and therefore He sends them a little light so that the darkness of the spirit in them can be broken through. Yet people often flee from the bright light and remain in the darkness, which is part of God's adversary. And therefore the love of the fellow human being has to be prepared time and again to give them enlightenment, and every thought will be blessed which applies to such poor in spirit. Asking for their souls while they are still on earth will earn him the help of the beings in the beyond, for they will not let up in their endeavours and what talking cannot achieve can be achieved through faithful prayer.... All previous views can be shaken and the human being can be guided into a completely new way of thinking, and now the soul strives ceaselessly upwards. It is necessary that God Himself intervenes, because only that which seems quite strange and extraordinary is still given attention, for without a violent shaking of earthly life the human being's mind will hardly turn to spiritual problems. And therefore the soul is in greatest danger. But the moment will be dreadful, yet it is inevitable, for the gentle hints will not be heeded and the time on earth will pass and bring the soul neither redemption nor realization....

Saber a verdade.... Auto-amor - Caridade....

Passará um tempo considerável antes que a mente da humanidade se preocupe com os pensamentos que dizem respeito à salvação da alma. Tudo o que é espiritual ainda é um conceito do improvável para ele, ele ainda não está disposto a renunciar aos seus interesses terrenos. E o amor-próprio é um obstáculo para reconhecer o que é mais importante na vida terrena.... o desenvolvimento superior da alma. O grau de amor é decisivo para o reconhecimento da verdade. No entanto, quem se ama mais a si mesmo do que ao seu próximo ainda está longe de reconhecer a verdade. Porque o amor-próprio não é nada divino, ele se esforça por bens terrenos e, portanto, nunca pode ter poder redentor. O ser humano só se tornará livre quando colocar o seu próprio ego de lado e as suas ações e pensamentos forem dirigidos apenas para tornar suportável o destino terreno do seu próximo, então a sua alma estará livre da sua cobertura e não mais considerará a vida terrena como o mais importante, mas se preocupará com a vida espiritual, com a vida após a morte e com a sua verdadeira tarefa terrena. O ser humano sempre rejeitará toda verdade espiritual enquanto sua alma ainda não tiver rompido a casca ao seu redor. Uma é a consequência da outra, e qualquer pessoa que se apresente na realização tenta em vão romper as barreiras para ajudar o seu semelhante, mas não deve desanimar, pois o próprio Deus ajuda onde a força do ser humano é insuficiente. Não há outra forma de virar a mente dessas pessoas a não ser através de mudanças drásticas que as façam perceber a decrepitude daquilo a que anteriormente aspiravam como importante. E isto é o que o próximo tempo trará, para que muitos se tornem atenciosos se prestarem atenção ao que está acontecendo ao seu redor. Ele verá mudanças acontecerem, verá pessoas morrerem e a sua visão da vida será grandemente abalada. E abençoado será aquele que tirar suas conclusões a partir disto, que não passar impensadamente e se lembrar de seu verdadeiro propósito.... para ajudar todos aqueles que precisam de ajuda.... Pois estes se redimem através do amor que se voltam para os seus semelhantes, pois tornam-se vendo.... Eles entram em contato com a Deidade eterna, que é o Amor Próprio, e agora as escamas caem de seus olhos. Deus quer ajudar essas pessoas e por isso Ele lhes envia um pouco de luz para que a escuridão de espírito nelas seja rompida. Mas as pessoas muitas vezes fogem da luz brilhante e permanecem na escuridão, que é parte do adversário de Deus. E, portanto, uma e outra vez, o amor do semelhante deve estar sempre pronto a dar-lhe esclarecimento, e todo pensamento será abençoado, o que se aplica a tais pobres em espírito. Rezar pelas suas almas enquanto ainda estão na terra lhe rende a ajuda dos seres do além, pois estes agora não se afrouxarão nos seus esforços, e o que a fala não pode ser conseguida através da oração fiel.... Todas as visões anteriores podem ser abaladas e o ser humano pode ser guiado para uma maneira completamente nova de pensar, e agora a alma se esforçará constantemente para cima. É necessário que o próprio Deus intervenha, porque só aquilo que parece completamente estranho e extraordinário é que ainda se prestará atenção, pois sem um tremor violento da vida terrena a mente do ser humano dificilmente se voltará para problemas espirituais. E a alma está, portanto, em maior perigo. Mas o momento será terrível, mas é inevitável, pois as indicações suaves não serão atendidas, e o tempo terreno passará e não trará nem redenção nem realização à alma....
