Battle against Christ’s teachings.... Persecution of those who confess Him....

It is indisputably better to confess before the world to belong to the church of Christ than to be subject to the adversary’s will and to deny Christ. For whoever is powerful in the world has nevertheless no power to stop what God will send against him. Whoever denies Christ, denies God, even if he mentions His name as proof of his faith.... For if he is profoundly faithful he will also recognise the Deity of Christ, because then he has love and love affirms Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Saviour of the world. This insight is the result of profound faith. However, unbelief prevents the human being from recognising the Deity of Jesus. Therefore, where Jesus Christ is rejected there is evidence of the human beings’ unbelief and such people belong to the world which openly opposes Jesus Christ. And the world will demand to reject Him completely, it wants His name no longer mentioned, it wants to erase all memory of Him and raise subsequent generations in ignorance; it wants to destroy everything that refers to Him and thereby suppress the knowledge of Him and His works. And thus the battle erupts....

Those who follow Him will defend His name, confess Him to the world and readily speak on His behalf and of His teachings.... They will be pursued and yet patiently endure persecution for His name’s sake, they will receive strength from above and the more they are attacked the more eagerly they will proclaim His teachings. God’s power will visibly be with them, his love protects them and the mighty of the world will have to realise that their power is futile. They will have to acknowledge a greater power Whose work is evident. They become outraged and now strive to impose their will by any means and for that reason they shall be punished by God’s hand.... For when human beings arrogantly want to fight against God Himself they are completely controlled by the adversary and then God will put an end to this.... Hence the time will come when laws upon laws are endorsed and people will be placed into a position to choose for or against Christ.... The supporters of the world will let go of Him for mere rewards; they will gain earthly advantages and sell their soul. And many will give up what should be their holiest possession.... the divine Redeemer and Saviour of the world.... Yet those who suffer persecution for His name’s sake will be blessed a thousand-fold because He Himself will approach them and lead them into battle and victory will be where He Himself is in command. And even if it seems as if the enemies’ intentions might succeed, the battle only lasts a short time, but those who fight for the name of Jesus will be victorious....

La lotta contro la Dottrina di Cristo – La persecuzione di coloro che Lo confessano

E’ indiscusso che è meglio confessarsi per la Chiesa di Cristo davanti a tutto il mondo, che seguire la volontà dell’avversario e rinnegare il Cristo. Perché chi è potente nel mondo, non ha comunque il potere di perseverare contro ciò che Dio gli manda. Chi rinnega il Cristo, rinnega Dio, anche se pronuncia il Suo Nome come per dimostrare la sua credibilità. Perché se è profondamente credente, riconosce anche la Divinità di Cristo, perché allora è nell’amore, e l’amore afferma Gesù Cristo come Figlio di Dio e Redentore del mondo. Questa conoscenza è una conseguenza della profonda fede. La miscredenza però rende l’uomo incapace di riconoscere la Divinità di Gesù. Quando Gesù Cristo quindi viene rifiutato, è data anche la dimostrazione della miscredenza dell’uomo, e tali uomini appartengono al mondo che si mette apertamente contro Gesù Cristo. E questo richiederà di cancellarLo definitivamente; vuole che Lui venga definitivamente cancellato e di far educare le generazioni future nell’ignoranza; vuole distruggere tutto ciò che ha riferimento su di Lui, e così impedire il sapere di Lui ed il Suo Agire. E così si scatenerà la lotta. Coloro che seguono Lui, s’impegneranno per il Suo Nome, Lo riconosceranno davanti al mondo, e parleranno pieni di fervore per Lui e la Sua Dottrina. Saranno perseguitati e sopporteranno comunque la persecuzione per il Suo Nome, ed a loro giungerà la Forza dall’Alto, affinché annuncino con più fervore la Sua Dottrina e più combattono per lei. E la Forza di Dio sarà con loro visibilmente, ed il Suo amore li protegge, ed i potenti del mondo dovranno riconoscere, che il loro potere non può niente contro questo. Dovranno riconoscere Uno più Potente il Cui Agire è evidente. E questo li indigna, ed ora cercano con tutti i mezzi di affermare sé e la loro volontà, e per questo verranno puniti dalla Mano di Dio. Perché in quanto gli uomini si arrogano di voler combattere contro Dio Stesso, sono nel pessimo potere dell’avversario, ed allora Dio impone un fermo a questo. E così verrà il tempo, quando verranno emesse leggi su leggi e gli uomini messi davanti alla scelta di decidersi per o contro Cristo. Ed i seguaci del mondo rinunceranno a Lui per via della ricompensa d’orgoglio, conquisteranno del vantaggio terreno, ma per questo venderanno le loro anime. E perciò vi saranno molti che rinunciano a ciò che dovrebbe essere il loro bene più santo, il divino Redentore e Salvatore del mondo. Ma coloro che subiranno la persecuzione per il Suo Nome, verranno mille volte benedetti, perché a loro Lui Stesso Si avvicina e li guida nella lotta e la vittoria sarà là, dove Lui Stesso è il Comandante dell’esercito. Ed anche se sembra come se all’avversario riuscisse nella sua impresa, questo è un inganno, la lotta dura soltanto poco tempo, ma coloro che combattono per il Nome di Gesù, saranno i vincitori.
