Battle against Christ’s teachings.... Persecution of those who confess Him....

It is indisputably better to confess before the world to belong to the church of Christ than to be subject to the adversary’s will and to deny Christ. For whoever is powerful in the world has nevertheless no power to stop what God will send against him. Whoever denies Christ, denies God, even if he mentions His name as proof of his faith.... For if he is profoundly faithful he will also recognise the Deity of Christ, because then he has love and love affirms Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Saviour of the world. This insight is the result of profound faith. However, unbelief prevents the human being from recognising the Deity of Jesus. Therefore, where Jesus Christ is rejected there is evidence of the human beings’ unbelief and such people belong to the world which openly opposes Jesus Christ. And the world will demand to reject Him completely, it wants His name no longer mentioned, it wants to erase all memory of Him and raise subsequent generations in ignorance; it wants to destroy everything that refers to Him and thereby suppress the knowledge of Him and His works. And thus the battle erupts....

Those who follow Him will defend His name, confess Him to the world and readily speak on His behalf and of His teachings.... They will be pursued and yet patiently endure persecution for His name’s sake, they will receive strength from above and the more they are attacked the more eagerly they will proclaim His teachings. God’s power will visibly be with them, his love protects them and the mighty of the world will have to realise that their power is futile. They will have to acknowledge a greater power Whose work is evident. They become outraged and now strive to impose their will by any means and for that reason they shall be punished by God’s hand.... For when human beings arrogantly want to fight against God Himself they are completely controlled by the adversary and then God will put an end to this.... Hence the time will come when laws upon laws are endorsed and people will be placed into a position to choose for or against Christ.... The supporters of the world will let go of Him for mere rewards; they will gain earthly advantages and sell their soul. And many will give up what should be their holiest possession.... the divine Redeemer and Saviour of the world.... Yet those who suffer persecution for His name’s sake will be blessed a thousand-fold because He Himself will approach them and lead them into battle and victory will be where He Himself is in command. And even if it seems as if the enemies’ intentions might succeed, the battle only lasts a short time, but those who fight for the name of Jesus will be victorious....

Lucha contra la enseñanza de Cristo.... Persecución de los que Lo confiesan

Es innegablemente mejor profesar la iglesia de Cristo ante todo el mundo que obedecer al adversario y negar a Cristo. Porque el que está poderoso en el mundo no tiene el poder para detener lo que Dios manda contra él. Cualquiera que niega a Cristo niega a Dios, aunque pronuncie Su nombre como prueba de su fe.... Porque si es profundamente creyente también reconoce la Divinidad de Cristo, porque entonces vive en el amor y el amor afirma a Jesucristo como Hijo de Dios y Redentor del mundo. Esta cognición es la consecuencia de una fe profunda.

Sin embargo, la incredulidad hace que el hombre sea incapaz de reconocer la Deidad de Jesús. Entonces, cuando se rechaza a Jesucristo también hay evidencia de la incredulidad del hombre, y tales personas pertenecen al mundo que se opone abiertamente a Jesucristo. Y este exigirá rechazarlo por completo; quiere que no mencione más Su nombre, quiere eliminar cualquier recuerdo de Él y que las generaciones venideras sean educadas en la ignorancia; quiere exterminar todo lo que se relaciona con Él y así impedir el conocimiento del Él y Su obra.

Y así estallará la lucha.... Los que Le sigan defenderán Su nombre, Lo confesarán ante el mundo y hablarán llenos de celo por Él y Sus enseñanzas.... Serán perseguidos y, sin embargo, soportarán con paciencia la persecución por causa de Su nombre y les llegará la fuerza desde lo alto para que proclamen con más entusiasmo Sus enseñanzas, cuanto más se combatan. Y el poder de Dios se hará visible en ellos, y Su amor les protegerá, y los poderosos del mundo tendrán que reconocer que su poder no puede contrarrestarlo.

Tendrán que reconocer a uno más Poderoso Cuya obra es evidente. Y esto les molesta y ahora están tratando de hacerse valer y su voluntad por todos los medios y serán castigados por ello por la mano de Dios.... Porque si la gente presume de querer contra Dios Mismo están en el peor poder del adversario y entonces Dios pondrá fin a esto....

Y así llegará el tiempo en que se promulgarán leyes sobre leyes y la gente se verá obligada a decidir a favor o en contra de Cristo.... Y los seguidores del mundo Lo abandonarán en aras de una recompensa; obtendrán ganancias terrenales y venderán su alma. Y habrá muchos que renunciarán a lo que debería ser su posesión más sagrada.... el divino salvador y Redentor del mundo.... Pero los que son perseguidos por Su nombre serán bendecidos mil veces, porque Él Mismo se acerca a ellos y los lleva a la lucha, y habrá victoria donde Él Mismo sea el comandante del ejército, y puede parecer que los oponente deberían tener éxito en su plan, la lucha durará poco tiempo, pero los que lucharán por el nombre de Jesús, estos serán los vencedores....
