Destructive endeavour of the opposing power....

From a person (being?) glowing with love for God a current will emanate which directly reaches the soul of the one who likewise lives in God. However, this person will also be exposed to a counter-current. And that is the great danger, since everything that is evil also increases and works within itself, but always to the detriment of the soul. Man must ask God for increased protection so that his dealings with people will not be detrimental to his soul. Whoever serves God in all love, reverence and humility will feel every evil influence and know how to protect himself against it through prayer. Yet the human being should never deem himself so strong that he does not need this protection, for the opposing power is strong and only intent on destroying all currents and breaking every connection from earth to the beyond.... all threads from the human being to God..... Only where the will is so strong that it constantly demands God will it give up its intrigues. And therefore the human being should always and constantly entrust himself to spiritual protection, so that he will also be protected in hours when his own will is weaker, so that he will be warned at the right moment by his spiritual friends who are now fighting for him as it were.

Far too little use is made of the help of these beings and therefore the battle on earth is sometimes quite a difficult one, even for the earthly child who is turned towards God.... For it desires too little the strength from God, which transmitters are those spiritual friends. But if the human being hands himself over in full faith to the care of those beings of light working in God's will, then the human being may also constantly receive strength, for every perfect being that abides in love, distributes the strength unmeasured which it receives itself through divine love. And thus the adversary's doing is made more difficult, his power is curtailed, as it were, in that it is ineffective against people who want to receive such strength from God. And this is truly necessary at a time when all spiritual activity is denied.... If the human being abandons himself to those currents weak-willed, which emanate from the adversary, thus only strive for destructive success, he will weak-willed submit himself to this power , and his thinking will soon be misguided, his power of realisation will be weakened, his resistance will slacken and he will unconditionally accept what is whispered to him by that power, and which completely contradicts God's will. You will then be bound creatures, and you will lack the strength to release yourselves from this bondage, whereas the desire for God, the surrender to good spiritual beings, the will to receive good spiritual strength will free you from all compulsion, and the light of realisation will shine for you on all your paths through life. For God is within reach of everyone who merely desires Him....

Il tendere distruttivo del potere opposto

Da una persona ardente d’amore per Dio procede una corrente che penetra direttamente all’anima di colui che vive pure in Dio. Ma sarà anche esposto ad una corrente avversa. E questo è il più grande pericolo, dato che tutto ciò che è male, aumenta pure in sé ed agisce, ma sempre a danno dell’anima. L’uomo deve chiedere la Protezione fortificata a Dio, affinché frequentando altre persone non sia a danno della sua anima. Chi serve Dio in tutto l’amore, riverenza ed umiltà, sentirà ogni cattiva influenza e saprà proteggersene attraverso la preghiera. Ma l’uomo non si deve mai credere così forte da non aver bisogno di questa Protezione, perché il potere avverso è forte ed intende solamente distruggere tutte le correnti ed ogni collegamento dalla Terra nell’aldilà, di strappare tutti i fili dall’uomo a Dio. Solo dove la volontà è forte, che desidera continuamente Dio, là rinuncia al gioco da mestierante. E perciò l’uomo si deve sempre e continuamente affidare alla Protezione spirituale, affinché sia custodito anche nelle ore, in cui la sua propria volontà è più debole, affinché venga avvertito nel momento giusto dai suoi amici spirituali, che ora combattono pure con lui. Vi servite troppo poco dell’aiuto di questi essere e perciò la lotta sulla Terra è a volte molto difficile, anche per il figlio terreno rivolto a Dio, perché desidera troppa poca Forza da Dio, i cui mediatori sono quegli amici spirituali. Ma se l’uomo si affida pienamente credente alla custodia di quegli esseri di Luce che agiscono nella Volontà di Dio, allora l’uomo può anche continuamente ricevere la Forza, perché tutto lo spirituale che è perfetto nell’amore, distribuisce smisuratamente questa Forza, che a lui stesso affluisce dall’Amore divino. E così all’avversario viene reso difficile il suo agire, gli viene per così dire tagliato il suo potere, mentre questo è inefficace di fronte agli uomini che vogliono ricevere tale Forza da Dio. E questo è davvero necessario in un tempo in cui ogni Agire spirituale viene rinnegato. Se l’uomo si lascia andare volenteroso a quelle correnti che procedono dall’avversario, quindi aspirano al successo soltanto distruggendo, allora si dà senza volontà a questo potere, ed in breve il suo pensare verrà guidato male, la sua forza di conoscenza indebolita, la sua resistenza scomparirà, ed accetta incondizionatamente ciò che gli viene sussurrato dal quel potere e che contraddice totalmente la Volontà di Dio. Allora siete delle creature legate, e vi mancherà la Forza di liberarvi da questo legame, mentre il desiderio per Dio, il darsi ad esseri spirituali buoni, il voler ricevere la buona Forza spirituale, vi rende liberi da ogni costrizione ed allora vi risplende la Luce della conoscenza su tutte le vie della vostra vita. Perché Dio E’ vicino da poterLo toccare ad ognuno che soltanto Lo desidera.
