Distance from God.... self-knowledge.... union....

In order to reduce the distance from God the human being has to be aware of his distance from Him and thus experience the separation as oppressive or painful, then he will strive to change the unsatisfactory state and thus consciously work on himself in the realization that his own state of maturity has to be raised in order to reduce the distance from God. Self-knowledge is therefore the first condition for conscious soul work, but this is least likely to be found in people, for they do not consider themselves flawed and therefore do nothing to improve their spiritual state. It is extremely difficult to shake the feeling of excellence in people, and yet this is just as necessary, for only a person who regocnizes his own shortcomings will do anything to remedy them. And again, the will for truth is absolutely necessary, for the truth-loving person gives account to himself of his thoughts and actions, and he exercises criticism, thus it is understandable that the person whose heart strives for truth is close to the right path, for his train of thought is guided such that he regocnizes himself and consequently also strives for a change in his nature. And thus, when he regocnizes his shortcomings, he becomes small and humble, he wants to rectify them and appeals to God for strength, and thus he is already approaching the eternal deity, for he wants to go to God.... He regocnizes his unworthy state and wants to escape it.... He feels that he is incapable of doing so on his own and thus requests divine grace, and now the distance from God becomes ever smaller, for when the human being receives the strength from God, which he requires for his spiritual well-being, God's love also takes hold of him and makes his heart capable of love.... And love in turn brings him ever closer to God, love finally cancels out the distance from God completely, love establishes union.... The course on earth has now finally brought about that man has given up his will striving against God and has rejoined his father from eternity of his own will, thus is redeemed from endless long bondage....

La lontananza da Dio - L’auto conoscenza - L’unione

Per diminuire la lontananza da Dio, l’uomo deve rendersi conto della distanza da Lui e quindi percepire la separazione come opprimente o dolorosa, allora aspirerà ad un cambiamento dello stato che non lo soddisfa ed ora lavora coscientemente su di sé nella conoscenza, che il suo proprio stato di maturità dev’essere sospeso, per diminuire la lontananza da Dio. Quindi l’auto conoscenza è la prima condizione del cosciente lavoro sull’anima, ma questa si trova il meno fra gli uomini, perché non si considerano difettosi, e perciò non fanno nulla per migliorare il loro stato spirituale. E’ estremamente difficile scuotere il sentimento dell’eccellenza nell’uomo e questo è comunque tanto necessario, perché solo l’uomo che riconosce i suoi errori mette mano lui stesso per sospendere questi errori. E nuovamente è assolutamente necessaria la volontà per la Verità, perché l’uomo che ama la Verità si rende conto da sé del suo pensare ed agire, ed esercita una critica, quindi è comprensibile che l’uomo, il cui cuore tende alla Verità, è vicino alla retta via, perché il corso dei suoi pensieri viene guidato in modo che si riconosca e di conseguenza tenda anche ad un cambiamento del suo essere. E se quindi riconosce i suoi errori, diventa piccolo ed umile, li vorrebbe eliminare e si rivolge pregando a Dio per la Forza, e così si avvicina già all’eterna Divinità, perché vuole arrivare a Dio. Riconosce il suo stato indegno e lo vorrebbe fuggire. Sente che da solo non ne è capace e richiede quindi la Grazia divina, ed ora la distanza da Dio diminuisce sempre di più, perché quando all’uomo giunge la Forza da Dio che chiede per il suo benessere spirituale, l’Amore di Dio lo afferra e rende il suo cuore capace di amare. Ed è l’amore che lo porta sempre più vicino a Dio, l’amore sospende infine del tutto la distanza da Dio, l’amore stabilisce l’unificazione. Il percorso sulla Terra ha compiuto definitivamente che l’uomo ha rinunciato alla sua volontà contro Dio e per propria volontà si è di nuovo unito con il suo Padre dall’Eternità, quindi è liberato dalla relegazione infinitamente lunga.
