Mourning for the departing....

You should be concerned for the living, but not weep for those whom the lord calls away when the time comes. And so you must submit to the divine will and take comfort in the lord. For God is love.... He does not send you sorrow and affliction so that you may suffer, but for the sake of your souls, which are to mature through suffering. And if you lose someone who is dear to you, your pain will be alleviated if you remember Jesus' suffering and death on the cross. You too take the suffering on your shoulders, if you bear it for the lord.... And for the sake of humanity the lord endured suffering, but you bear it for those to whom your love is directed, if you bear it devotedly and for the lord's sake. Therefore do not complain and do not call the soul back to earth when it has left the earth valley, for the hour of freedom has struck it and all earthly heaviness has fallen away from it. And this shall be your consolation, that God's love is infinite, that this His love concludes life when the time has come that He calls it to Himself into His kingdom.... The path on earth was not easy, now the soul detaches itself from earth you should not be sad, for it exchanges earthly life for a peaceful life in eternity....

Droefheid om de overledenen

U moet bezorgd zijn om de levenden, maar niet treuren om diegenen die de Heer tot zich roept als de tijd is gekomen. En dus zult u zich moeten voegen naar de goddelijke wil en troost zoeken bij de Heer. Want God is liefde.

Hij zendt u geen kommer en droefheid, opdat u zult lijden, maar omwille van uw ziel die door het leed rijp moet worden. En als u een mens verliest die u lief en dierbaar is, zal uw smart worden verminderd als u denkt aan het lijden en sterven van Jezus aan het kruis. Ook u neemt het leed op uw schouders als u het draagt voor de Heer.

En omwille van de mensheid verdroeg de Heer het leed, maar u draagt het voor diegene naar wie uw liefde uitgaat als u het berustend en ter wille van de Heer draagt. Klaag daarom niet en roep de ziel niet terug naar de aarde, als ze het aardse dal heeft verlaten, want voor haar heeft het uur van de vrijheid geslagen en alle last van het aardse bestaan is van haar afgevallen. En dit moet u tot troost zijn, dat de liefde Gods oneindig is, dat deze liefde van Hem het leven beëindigt als de tijd is gekomen, daar Hij haar tot zich roept in Zijn rijk.

De weg op aarde was niet gemakkelijk en nu de ziel zich losmaakt van de aarde, zou u niet droevig moeten zijn, want ze verwisselt het aardse leven voor een leven vol van vrede in de eeuwigheid.
