Concept of the supernatural....

The unconscious state of prejudice against everything supersensible is often the cause of blindly walking through earthly life, for understandably only a certain realization can illuminate the path, but this realization can only be gained again through research.... however, everything that lies outside the earth can only be explored again by making use of those forces that are called supersensible, so these must not be eliminated, but the work of such forces must be regocnized. A conscious effort must be made to connect with them in order to become clairvoyant for life on earth. And this requires a certain devotion, but at the same time it also requires the will of the human being to connect with the spiritual. For this endeavour has nothing in common with the earthly desire to possess. He who seeks to fathom supersensible things will not expect or aim at any earthly advantage but will only think of his soul; he will furthermore abandon himself to those powers and thereby regocnize that they are knowing and thus want to accept any teaching from them. He will feel the superiority of these powers and subordinate himself to them, and now the powers in the beyond can also exert their full influence on such a willing earthly child. A person who surrenders to these forces must therefore have a great advantage in spiritual terms, for he is, so to speak, at the source of all knowledge, and even if some things still seem inexplicable to him, he nevertheless accepts everything supernatural and has the deepest understanding for spiritual truths....

All too often wrong and right concepts of the supersensible mix, and that is the cause that the right understanding can only be found there where one has the will to accept what is right. There the will for truth is present and accordingly also the spirit in man is active, and when this spirit now points him to what exists outside of the earth-bound, then man also regocnizes such indications as truth and now also grasps the work of spiritual powers on the other side much sooner, and it now no longer appears supernatural to him, but natural.... Only now does the supernatural explain to him everything that was previously incomprehensible, and he senses that he is only now standing in the truth as he surrenders himself to those forces. Only now does everything seem to make sense to him, and the state of prejudice against the supersensible gives way to a state of complete affirmation of it. He has now crossed a boundary that he believed he was not entitled to cross or that he simply did not want to admit existed.... He has thus crossed over into another realm that his mind previously refused to accept.... He now wanders through this realm in all directions, he repeatedly encounters new areas which are foreign to him and whose exploration stimulates him and makes him happy in his life on earth. For only now is the meaning of earthly life understandable to him, only now does he know his task, and all this gives him an increased zest for life (because) the supersensible is no longer separate from what his senses grasp. Only the spiritual connection with life outside the earth.... the recognition of it.... allows man to consciously immerse himself in the most diverse problems, whereas previously all these problems remained unresolved or were dismissed as unsolvable if they really arise in the heart of man.... but for the most part do not affect the person at all, for he does not waste his thoughts on things that seem unimportant to him. And therefore he will remain completely unimpressed and ignorant who is prejudiced against that which is not tangible or obvious to him.... He blocks his own path to all knowledge, for the latter cannot be found without spiritual strength.... But spiritual power is something invisible and intangible to man.... spiritual power is independent of the earth and its laws, spiritual power cannot be felt with the senses of man, but can be received with the heart at any time. It can therefore never be fathomed by the senses.... it is supersensible. It belongs to that realm which is infinite, which is more than the earth. It is the spiritual power of the stream of life that flows through everything that is.... that emanates from God and is supplied to everything that is God's creation.... And the earth is only a particle of the whole creation; it must therefore be understandable to man that this earth cannot be purpose and goal at the same time, that rather the goal of the beings inhabiting the earth must be another world.... a world which their senses cannot yet grasp, which is therefore supersensible....

Le concept de surnaturel

L'état involontaire de l'être mis en garde contre tout ce qui est surnaturel est souvent la cause d’une marche aveugle à travers la vie terrestre, parce que seulement une certaine connaissance peut l’éclairer de façon compréhensible, mais cette connaissance peut de nouveau n’être conquise que seulement à travers un travail de recherche, mais tout ce qui se trouve hors de la terre peut n'être enquêté seulement qu’en se servant des Forces qui sont appelées surnaturelles, donc elles ne doivent pas être exclues, mais l’action de telles Forces doit être reconnue. On doit consciemment aspirer à la liaison avec elles pour devenir voyant pour la vie terrestre. Et cela demande un certain dévouement, mais demande en même temps aussi la volonté de l'homme de se relier avec le spirituel, parce que cela est une aspiration qui n'a rien en commun avec la volonté de posséder ce qui est terrestre. Celui qui cherche à sonder des choses surnaturelles n'a pas pour but ou ne s'attendra pas à des avantages terrestres, mais il pensera uniquement à son âme ; en outre il la confiera même à ces Forces et reconnaîtra que celles-ci sont sages, et il acceptera tous leurs enseignements. Il sentira la supériorité de ces Forces et lui-même s’y subordonnera, et maintenant les Forces de l'au-delà peuvent exercer toute leur influence sur un fils terrestre de si bonne volonté. Un homme qui se confie à ces Forces doit donc avoir un avantage dans le rapport spirituel, parce qu'il s’adresse d’une certaine manière à la Source de tout savoir, et même si des choses lui semblent encore inexplicables, il laisse de toute façon valoir tout le surnaturel et il a la plus profonde compréhension pour les Vérités spirituelles. Seulement trop souvent des concepts surnaturels faux et justes se mélangent, et cela est la raison pour laquelle on trouve la juste compréhension seulement là où il y a la volonté de laisser valoir ce qui est juste. Là où il y a la volonté pour la Vérité il y a aussi un esprit actif dans l'homme, et si maintenant cet esprit lui indique ce qui se trouve en dehors de ce qui est lié à la Terre, alors l'homme reconnaît aussi de telles indications comme Vérité et comprend maintenant beaucoup mieux l’action des Forces spirituelles de l'au-delà, et elles ne lui semble maintenant plus surnaturelles, mais naturelles. Maintenant le surnaturel lui donne l'explication pour tout ce qui jusqu'à présent lui était insaisissable, et il sent que seulement maintenant il se trouve dans la Vérité, vu qu’il se confie à ces Forces. Seulement maintenant tout lui apparaît sensé et l'état de l'être mis en garde contre le surnaturel fait place à l'état de très pleine confiance en cela. Maintenant une frontière a été dépassée, qu'il ne se croyait pas autorisé à doubler ou bien qu'il ne voulait pas admettre comme existante. Maintenant il passe à travers ce Règne dans toutes les directions, à la rencontre toujours de nouvelles régions qui lui sont étrangères et leur exploration le stimule et lui rend bienheureuse la vie terrestre. Parce que seulement maintenant il comprend aussi le sens de la vie terrestre, seulement maintenant il reconnaît sa tâche, et tout cela lui fournit une joie de vivre accrue, parce que maintenant le surnaturel plus n'est séparé de ce que saisissent ses sens. Seulement maintenant il reconnaît la liaison spirituelle avec la vie hors de la Terre, et ainsi l'homme peut se plonger consciemment dans les problèmes les plus multiples, alors qu’auparavant tous ces problèmes restaient non soulevés ou bien étaient mis de côté comme résolus, si réellement ils se levaient dans le cœur de l'homme, mais ils ne touchaient presque jamais l'homme, parce que celui-ci ne gâche pas ses pensées sur des phénomènes qui ne sont pas importants pour lui. Et ainsi celui qui il est mis en garde contre tout ce qui pour lui est insaisissable ou invisible restera totalement non impressionné ou ignorant. Lui-même se barre la voie pour toute connaissance, parce que cette dernière ne se trouve pas sans la Force spirituelle. Mais celle-ci est pour l'homme quelque chose d'invisible et d’insaisissable, la Force spirituelle est indépendante de la Terre et de ses lois, la Force spirituelle est imperceptible avec les sens de l'homme, mais toujours accessible avec le cœur. On ne peut donc jamais sonder avec les sens ce qui est surnaturel. Cela fait partie de ce Règne qui est infini, et qui est plus que la Terre. La Force spirituelle est le courant de Vie qui coule à travers tout ce qui est, qui procède de Dieu et est guidé vers tout ce qui est la Création de Dieu. Et la Terre est seulement une particule de toute la Création ; avec cela il doit être compréhensible pour homme que cette Terre ne peut pas être en même temps un but et un objectif, et que le but des êtres qui demeurent sur la Terre doit être plutôt un autre monde, un monde que ses sens ne peuvent pas encore saisir, qui est donc surnaturel.
