Unbearable hardship....

A little while longer and an almost unbearable hardship will befall the earth. This is the beginning of an epoch in which man will again become more aware of his actual purpose, because this trouble lets him find God, but also lets him remain with him in more distant times. And this adversity will express itself in very different forms, yet higher powers will always be the cause, thus the human being will never be able to avert or reduce the adversity by his own strength. And thus people will find the path to God sooner than before, and this is why the lord imparts His word to the human being so that he will have a foothold in this time of adversity, so that he will be strengthened by this word and draw strength from it for the time of severe trials. And again it has to be said that only where the divine word is received.... where the light from heaven shines.... a noticeable relief from earthly hardship will come to light. Man will be able to reduce his state of suffering if his will is directed towards God. This is the first and last reason why God allows such hardship to pass over the earth. And no country will be spared from it, all people will have to endure suffering because the meaning and purpose of suffering is the return to God, because the thoughts which have separated themselves from God shall turn to Him again. Yet the lord promises His protection to those who love Him.... And if faith in this promise is strong, a person will emerge from all tribulation unscathed in body and soul. The father in heaven Himself takes care of this child and guides it through all dangers. It is now clearly evident that only turning to God brings salvation from the most severe adversity, however, not all people bow to divine will, not all people draw the consequences and reduce their distance from God.... Rather, their will is increasingly focussed on regaining earthly possessions and restoring their former state of life. And so the great adversity has not brought about any change in their thinking, the will to matter, to evil, has become considerably stronger, but the thought of God has been minimized or completely eliminated. Trying to bring the word of God to such people is unsuccessful. There is no other way to convince them of the transience of earthly possessions, and if the complete decay of entire stretches of land has not made them realize this clearly enough, any reference is in vain.... The inclination towards matter is greater and can hardly be overcome on earth. Again, however, the desire for this cannot at the same time trigger a desire for God and His word. Consequently, the human being will reject the latter. And this state is far more desolate than before because even the last means of help has failed and the human being cannot be hindered in his free will. These are the souls that satan has completely in his power, only prayer for such people can exert a transforming influence, provided that deep love for those unfortunate people wants to free them from the misery of the soul....

견딜 수 없는 고난.

얼마 지나지 않아 거의 견딜 수 없는 고난이 이 땅에 닥치게 될 것이다. 이는 인간이 다시 자신의 실제적인 사명을 더 많이 깨닫게 되는 시대의 시작이다. 왜냐하면 이런 고난이 사람이 하나님을 찾을 수 있게 해주고, 그러나 또한 계속하여 하나님께 머물게 하기 때문이다. 이런 고난은 완전히 다른 형태로 나타날 것이다. 그러나 항상 더 높은 권세가 원인이 될 것이다. 그러므로 인간 자신의 힘으로는 위험을 피하거나 줄일 수 없다. 따라서 사람들은 이런 일을 통해 이전보다 더 빠르게 하나님께 가는 길을 찾는다. 그러므로 주님은 사람들에게 자신의 말씀을 전해준다. 이로써 그가 이런 환난의 시기에 지지대를 얻게 하고, 말씀을 통해 강하게 하고, 어려운 시험의 기간 동안에 말씀에서 힘을 얻게 한다.

그러나 단지 하나님의 말씀을 영접하는 곳에서, 하늘에서 빛이 비추는 곳에서, 느낄 수 있게 이 땅의 고통이 견딜만 하게 된다는 것을 다시 말해줘야만 한다. 인간은 의지가 하나님께 향한다면, 인간은 자신의 고통의 상태를 줄일 수 있다. 이는 하나님이 이런 고난이 이 땅에 임하게 한 첫 번째 이유이자 마지막 이유이다. 어떤 나라도 피해를 입지 않는 나라가 없을 것이다. 모든 사람은 고난을 견뎌야만 할 것이다. 왜냐하면 고난의 의미와 목적은 하나님께 돌아가게 하는 것이기 때문이고, 하나님을 떠난 생각이 다시 하나님께 향해야 하기 때문이다.

그러나 주님은 자신을 사랑하는 사람들에게 자신의 보호를 약속했다. 이 약속을 믿는 믿음이 강하면, 사람은 육체와 혼이 해를 입지 않고, 모든 환난을 통과할 것이다. 하나님 아버지가 친히 자녀를 돌보고, 자녀를 모든 위험을 통과하도록 인도한다. 단지 하나님께 도움을 구하는 일이 가장 큰 고난으로부터 구원을 얻을 수 있음이 이제 선명해진다. 그럴지라도 모든 사람이 하나님의 뜻에 순복하지 않고, 모든 사람이 책임을 느끼고 물러나지 않고, 하나님과의 간격을 줄이지 않는다.

오히려 그들의 의지는 이 땅의 재물을 회복하는 일로 향하고, 옛 삶의 상태를 회복하는 일로 향한다. 그러므로 큰 위험이 그런 사람들의 생각에 어떤 변화도 가져오지 못하고, 물질을 향한, 악을 향한 의지가 아주 크게 강해지고, 그러나 하나님을 향한 생각은 적게 하거나 전혀 하지 않는다. 그런 사람들에게 하나님의 말씀을 전하려는 시도는 실패한다. 그들에게 다른 방법으로는 이 땅의 소유물이 쇠하는 것임을 확신시켜줄 수 없다. 이 땅 전체가 완전히 파괴되는 일이 그들이 이 땅의 소유물이 쇠하는 것임을 충분하게 의식할 수 있게 만들지 못한다면, 모든 가르침이 헛되게 된다.

물질을 향한 욕망은 더 커지고, 이 땅에서 거의 극복할 수 없게 된다. 그러나 물질을 향한 열망과 함께 동시에 하나님과 하나님의 말씀을 향한 열망을 갖게 할 수 없다. 결과적으로 사람은 하나님의 말씀을 거부하는 자세를 취하게 될 것이다. 이런 상태는 이전의 상태보다 훨씬 더 암울하다. 왜냐하면 마지막 도움의 수단이 실패했고, 인간의 자유의지에 간섭을 할 수 없기 때문이다. 그들은 사탄이 전적으로 자신의 권세 아래 두고 있는 혼들이다. 그런 불행한 혼들을 향한 깊은 사랑이 그들의 혼을 위험으로부터 자유롭게 해주기를 원한다면, 이런 불행한 존재들을 위해 드리는 기도가 변화시키는 영향을 미칠 수 있다.
