Earthly pleasures of the God-minded person....

The spiritual beings in the beyond are in closest contact with people and so they know about every stirring of the heart, and it is now their task to strengthen every stirring which is turned towards God as far as possible, as well as to intervene to hinder where the stirring of the heart could lead to a relapse from God. This alone is decisive and therefore determines destiny. Provided all thoughts of the earthly human being move in a God-pleasing way, the course of life will also correspond to the innermost wishes, for it is no longer the world that is desired but God, thus the quiet course of earthly life can no longer be an obstacle to the soul's higher development. It is now up to those spirit beings to examine to what extent earthly pleasures could still be a hindrance to the human being, and thus they direct the individual events according to the extent of the desire for God. Whatever could reduce or limit this desire must be withheld from the earthly child until the will for God excludes everything else in the heart. God Himself is love, and so man's deepest love must also be for God. All earthly desire must have union with God as its goal; only that which promotes this union with God must be striven for. Then all human-earthly desire has lost its significance and can then also no longer be wrong before God. And the beings in the beyond will know how to prevent everything that could jeopardize the final union with God in a person who strives to ascend, for the desire for worldly happiness is froth-inducing even if it appears desirable to the human being for a short time. If he has now completely overcome it, i.e. has set himself the goal of uniting with God as the only desirable thing, this also brings with it a loosening of earthly restrictions; man is granted many things which he had previously eagerly striven for but was wisely denied.... but now there is no danger whatsoever for the earthly child that it could result in separation from the father. And thus the earthly life of the God-minded human being need not be joyless at all as long as these joys no longer jeopardize the striving upwards, i.e. are not sought for their own sake. However, if the danger has not yet been completely overcome, the beings in the beyond will ensure that the human being's desire is first clarified and all earthly desires are extinguished so that the soul will not be in danger of falling flat. However, anyone who earnestly seeks God need not fear any danger if he entrusts all his ways to God and asks Him for His guidance.... Then he will be guided correctly and reach his goal....

Os prazeres terrenos do homem de espírito divino....

Os seres espirituais do além estão em contato mais íntimo com as pessoas, e assim conhecem cada agitação do coração, e agora é sua tarefa fortalecer ao máximo cada agitação que se volta para Deus, assim como intervir onde a agitação do coração possa levar a uma recaída de Deus. Só isto é decisivo e assim determina o destino. Desde que todos os pensamentos do homem terreno se movam de maneira agradável a Deus, o curso da vida corresponderá também aos desejos mais íntimos, pois já não é o mundo que se deseja, mas Deus, portanto, o curso calmo da vida terrena não pode mais ser um obstáculo ao desenvolvimento superior da alma. Cabe agora a esses seres espirituais verificar até que ponto os prazeres terrenos ainda podem ser um obstáculo para o ser humano, e assim eles dirigem os acontecimentos individuais de acordo com a magnitude do desejo de Deus. Tudo o que possa reduzir ou restringir esse desejo deve ser retido da criança terrena até que a vontade de Deus elimine tudo o resto no coração. O próprio Deus é amor e, portanto, o amor mais profundo do ser humano deve ser dirigido também para Deus. Todo desejo terreno deve ter a unificação com Deus como seu objetivo, somente o que promove esta unificação com Deus deve ser buscado. Então todo o desejo humano-terrestre terá perdido o seu significado e não poderá mais estar errado diante de Deus. E os seres do além saberão impedir tudo o que possa pôr em perigo a união final com Deus em uma pessoa que se esforça para cima, pois o desejo de felicidade mundana é espumoso, mesmo que pareça desejável ao ser humano por pouco tempo. Uma vez que ele tenha superado isto completamente, ou seja, uma vez que ele tenha estabelecido a unificação com Deus como seu único objetivo desejável, isto também resultará num relaxamento das restrições terrenas; ao ser humano serão concedidas muitas coisas pelas quais ele tinha lutado ardentemente, mas que lhe foram sabiamente negadas.... mas agora não há qualquer perigo para o filho terreno que possa resultar na separação do pai. E assim a vida terrena do ser humano de espírito divino não precisa de ser de todo sem alegria, desde que essas alegrias já não ponham em perigo a luta para cima, não sendo assim procuradas por si mesmas. Porém, se o perigo ainda não foi completamente superado, os seres do além assegurarão que o desejo do ser humano seja primeiro esclarecido e que todo o desejo terreno seja extinto, para que a alma não corra o risco de aplanar. No entanto, qualquer pessoa que procure sinceramente a Deus não precisa temer nenhum perigo se confiar todos os seus caminhos a Deus e Lhe pedir a Sua orientação.... Então ele será guiado corretamente e alcançará sua meta....
