Demands.... following Jesus.... forgiveness of sins....

The demands that God now makes of man are the same today as they were at the time of Jesus' walk on earth. The lord gave His blood for all sinners, and so He also took upon Himself the guilt of sin of all. Every person was entitled to the graces of the work of redemption if he regocnized it as such. And the lord still demands the same today. The divinity of Jesus and the infinite love of God for mankind must be regocnized, that He has redeemed all their sins with His blood. The gift of God, the redemption of the guilt of sin, was an undeserved gift that only the immense love of God offered mankind. But this gift can never again be given to a person who consciously rejects it. Man must regocnize his unworthiness, he must be aware of how low he has sunk through his sin and how far he has distanced himself from the eternal Godhead.... recognizing his unworthiness, he must implore the father in heaven for mercy, confess his unworthiness to Him and, for the sake of the work of redemption, for the sake of Jesus' immense love, ask for deliverance from his guilt of sin in the deepest faith in Jesus Christ, the divine redeemer. If man now presents all his sins to Him, if he becomes small and lowly before the merciful love of God, if he now begs for mercy in the deepest humility and places himself and his guilt of sin before the eternal judge for judgement, the lord will grant mercy for justice.... For the sake of His son, He will cancel all guilt and, full of mercy, incline Himself to this child who has consciously asked for the grace of the work of redemption and decided to follow Jesus.... For whoever desires to be redeemed for the sake of Jesus will also endeavour to shape his way of life according to the will of the lord. He will take the divine saviour as his model, he will strive to follow Him, and the work of redemption will not only be an act of one-time forgiveness of sins for him, but the occasion for a completely new life.... All guilt will be removed from him and with it the power of the adversary will be broken to ever exert great influence on such a person who consciously gave himself to the lord and saviour by entering the circle of those for whom the lord laid down His life....

Exigências.... Seguindo Jesusu.... Perdão dos pecados....

As exigências que Deus agora faz ao homem são as mesmas hoje como eram na época da vida de Jesus na terra. O Senhor deu o Seu sangue por todos os pecadores e, portanto, também tomou sobre si a culpa do pecado. Cada pessoa tinha direito às graças da obra de redenção, se a reconhecesse como tal. E o Senhor ainda hoje exige o mesmo. A divindade de Jesus e o infinito amor de Deus pela humanidade devem ser reconhecidos, que Ele redimiu todos os seus pecados com o Seu sangue. O dom de Deus, a redenção da culpa do pecado, foi um dom imerecido que só o amor de Deus, maior do que o grande, ofereceu às pessoas. Mas este dom nunca pode ser dado a uma pessoa que o rejeite conscientemente. O ser humano deve reconhecer a sua indignidade, deve estar consciente de quão baixo se afundou através do seu pecado e de quão longe se distanciou da Deidade eterna.... Na realização da sua indignidade ele deve implorar ao Pai do céu por misericórdia, confessar-lhe a sua indignidade e por causa do ato de Salvação, por causa do maior que grande amor de Jesus, pedir a libertação da sua culpa de pecado em profunda fé em Jesus Cristo, o divino Redentor. Se o ser humano agora lhe apresenta todos os seus pecados, se ele se torna pequeno e humilde diante do amor misericordioso de Deus, se ele agora implora misericórdia na mais profunda humildade e entrega a si mesmo e sua culpa do pecado ao Juiz eterno para julgamento, o Senhor concederá misericórdia para a justiça.... Por amor do Seu Filho, Ele apagará toda a culpa e, cheio de misericórdia, inclinar-se-á para esta criança que pediu conscientemente a graça da obra de salvação e decidiu seguir Jesus.... Pois qualquer um que deseje ser redimido por amor de Jesus também se esforçará para moldar o seu modo de vida segundo a vontade do Senhor. Ele tomará o divino Redentor como seu modelo, esforçar-se-á por segui-lo, e o ato de Salvação não será apenas um ato de perdão de pecados para ele, mas a ocasião para uma vida completamente nova.... Toda a culpa será removida dele e com ela o poder do adversário para sempre exercer grande influência sobre tal pessoa que conscientemente se entregou ao Senhor e Salvador, entrando no círculo daqueles pelos quais o Senhor deu a Sua vida será quebrado....
