Desire for light.... knowledge.... truth....

Desire brightness of spirit so that it can be brought to you, so that the light from the heavens may shine for you in the darkness of earthly existence. And if the light now radiates to you, do not avoid it but consciously let it have an effect on you so that you feel its benefit and only desire this light more and more. And then you will regocnize everything around you and within you.... In amazement you see one veil fall around the other, creation reveals itself to you radiantly bright and clear, testifying to God's wisdom and omnipotence, and you will know.... The majority of people still walk in the deepest darkness of spirit. They do nothing to improve this lightless state, they are content with an existence that deprives them of everything that signifies light and brightness. They do not desire to be flooded with light; they go along without recognizing God's work around them, they walk dark paths that tell them nothing of God's glorious works of love and omnipotence. They see nothing because there is no light shining for them to see the work of God. They know nothing of God's love, they know nothing of the purpose of creation, they find no connection between all things which earthly life illustrates to them.... They only ever see the earthly purpose of all things, but not the spiritual one. And so they walk in the darkness of the spirit.... And that means a standstill of spiritual development and an unimaginable deficit when earthly life is over. You will never find the right path, you will not reach the goal because you do not regocnize the path in the darkness, and thus your path through earthly life will not result in success for the soul. Therefore you must not wait idly until a ray of light reaches you but you have to long for light and watch out for the slightest glimmer and follow it, and this glimmer of light will become stronger and stronger, it will soon illuminate a passable path for you and your spiritual adversity will then be remedied, for now you need never fear that you will go astray or that the light will become weaker. For those who once sent the light to you are watchful so that you will never lack it again. And you will look around you liberated and always regocnize God's reign and activity wherever you walk. The divine bearers of light always remain around you, for in their love they want to impart the light to all beings which makes them so exceedingly happy, it only has to be desired and therefore willingly received. He who now promises you the light, it is His will that you draw from the divine source of grace which His love has opened for you.... For light is knowledge.... knowledge of divine truth.... And God Himself offers you this truth in unlimited abundance. Whoever therefore desires to stand in the light of the divine sun of grace will be imparted divine truth without measure, and the truth will be full of strength and power, divine love itself will express itself, and what is from God must also be strength and light in itself.... And thus all knowledge of divine truth means walking in radiant light. The path of the earthly child is brightly and clearly marked out if it has received divine truth within itself, it will be able to see and spread a radiant brightness around itself, and anyone who likewise wants to receive divine truth through the earthly child will be allowed to receive this light again. For what God sends to His own on earth is not limited, and therefore the human being can distribute it to his fellow human beings, the light will therefore not shine less brightly but spread immeasurable brightness if the light which comes from the heavens and is intended to lead people back to God is respected. light is synonymous with life, but darkness of spirit is indisputably the concept of the lifeless. And he who stands in the light will live; and this life will be the most marvellous thing granted to God's creature.... An incomparable eternal life is promised to the child of God who has received the truth from God and thus has travelled the earthly path in the desire for light.... For God Himself was active in him, Who is the light, the truth and the love Himself....

Verlangen naar licht – Kennis – Waarheid

Verlang naar helderheid van de geest, opdat ze u gebracht kan worden, opdat het licht uit de hemel u verlicht in de duisternis van het bestaan op aarde. En als het licht nu op u schijnt, ontwijk het niet, maar laat het bewust op u inwerken, opdat u zijn weldaad gewaarwordt en u steeds maar meer naar dit licht verlangt. En dan herkent u alles rondom u en in u. U ziet met verbazing de ene sluier na de andere vallen, in stralend licht en duidelijk onthult de schepping zich voor u, getuigend van Gods wijsheid en almacht en u zult wetend worden.

De meerderheid van de mensen wandelt nog in de diepste duisternis van de geest. Ze doen niets om deze toestand zonder licht te verbeteren. Ze zijn tevreden met een bestaan, dat hen alles onthoudt, wat licht en helderheid betekent. Ze verlangen er niet naar om met licht doorstroomd te worden. Ze gaan verder, zonder het werkzaam zijn van God rondom zich te herkennen. Ze gaan over donkere wegen, die hen niets bekendmaken over de heerlijke werken van de liefde en almacht van God.

Ze zien niets, omdat er bij hen geen licht schijnt, dat hen het werkzaam zijn van God laat zien. Ze weten niets van de liefde van God. Ze weten niets van het doel van de schepping. Ze zien geen verband tussen alle zaken, die het aardse leven voor hen aanschouwelijk maakt. Ze zien steeds alleen het aardse doel van alle dingen, maar niet het geestelijke. En dus bevinden ze zich in de duisternis van de geest. En dat betekent een stilstand van de geestelijke ontwikkeling en een onvoorstelbaar gebrek als het aardse leven beëindigd is.

U zult nooit de juiste weg vinden. U zult het doel nooit bereiken, omdat u in de duisternis de weg niet herkent en dus zal uw gang door het aardse leven u geen succes voor de ziel opleveren. U mag daarom niet werkeloos afwachten tot een lichtstraal tot u doordringt, maar u moet naar het licht reiken en op het geringste schijnsel letten en hem navolgen en dit lichtschijnsel zal steeds sterker worden. Hij zal spoedig een gangbare weg voor u verlichten en de nood van uw ziel zal dan opgeheven zijn, want nu hoeft u nooit meer te vrezen dat u verkeerd gaat of dat het licht zwakker zal worden.

Want degenen, die u eens het licht liet toekomen, zijn waakzaam, zodat het u daar nu nooit meer aan ontbreekt. En u zult bevrijd om u heen kijken en Gods heersen en werkzaam zijn altijd herkennen, waar u ook gaat. De goddelijke lichtdragers blijven altijd rondom u, want in hun liefde willen ze alle wezens het licht geven, hetgeen hen zo buitengewoon gelukkig maakt. Er moet alleen naar verlangd en dus gewillig ontvangen worden.

Het is de wil van Degene, Die u nu het licht belooft, dat u put uit de goddelijke genadebron, die Zijn liefde voor u geopend heeft. Want licht is kennis. Kennis van de goddelijke waarheid. En God Zelf biedt u deze waarheid in onbeperkte overvloed aan. Wie er dus naar verlangt om in het licht van de goddelijke genadezon te staan, zal mateloos goddelijke waarheid overgedragen krijgen en de waarheid zal vol kracht en macht zijn. De goddelijke liefde zal zich uiten en wat uit God is, moet ook kracht en licht in zichzelf zijn. En daarom betekent alle kennis van de goddelijke waarheid het wandelen in stralend licht.

De weg van het mensenkind is helder en duidelijk voorbestemd als het de goddelijke waarheid in zich opgenomen heeft. Het kind zal ziende worden en ook rondom zich een stralende helderheid verspreiden. En degenen, die eveneens goddelijke waarheid door het mensenkind in ontvangst willen nemen, zullen dit licht weer mogen ontvangen. Want wat God de Zijnen op aarde laat toekomen, is niet beperkt toegekend en daarom kan de mens aan de medemensen uitdelen. Daardoor zal het licht niet minder helder stralen, maar onmetelijke helderheid verspreiden, als er op het licht, dat uit de hemel komt en de mensen naar God terug moeten leiden, acht geslagen wordt.

Licht betekent hetzelfde als leven, maar onmiskenbaar betekent duisternis van de geest de dood. En degene, die in het licht staat, zal leven. En dit leven zal het kostelijkste betekenen, wat het schepsel van God geschonken kan worden. Het kind van God, dat de waarheid uit God in ontvangst genomen heeft en dus de gang over de aarde in het verlangen naar licht afgelegd heeft, wordt een onvergelijkbaar eeuwig leven beloofd. Want God Zelf, Die het licht, de waarheid en de liefde Zelf is, is werkzaam in hem geweest.
