Support for the soul.... without such heavy wrestling....

The soul struggles for its liberation and the battle is not easy. That is why the lord grants you every support, and if the soul is willing, it also feels the help and derives the greatest benefit from it. But the soul that resists has to fight the battle against the hostile power itself and is therefore in great distress. In order to defeat its resistance, in order to make the will of such souls submissive, the lord imposes all kinds of suffering and tribulation on it with the intention that this will have a favourable effect and make the resistance weaken. And therefore especially people who live in permanent defence against the grace accessible to them often have a difficult earthly fate which expresses itself in different ways. It happens not infrequently that all efforts of the spiritual beings in the beyond to help these souls are flatly rejected and that the human being therefore believes that he can master life without any spiritual help.... that he obviously rejects all indications which could offer him help and that he does not gratefully rejoice at the divine word because, in his opinion, everything divine is too high and thus too distant to be able to visibly unite with people on earth. And so they exclude all direct help and the concept of grace is incomprehensible to them should they apply it to their daily life. Only a direct spiritual experience liberates them from this erroneous opinion, and again, precisely such people will be far too sober-minded to want to acknowledge supernatural activity, and thus they would rather dismiss everything without further ado than examine it. And thus the situation will be dire for such a soul which does not want to accept help from any side and yet has too little faith itself to make contact with spiritual strength. They wrestle and wrestle on earth and try to present their opinion as the only correct one, and this is so immensely burdensome for the soul, after all, their difficult struggle on earth is without any success and hardly liberates them from their agonizing situation. And it is extremely difficult to help such a soul, for it regocnizes nothing but what it can see and feel, thus not even the obvious gift of divine grace.... And thus, understandably, it does not enjoy such gifts of grace either and continues to remain in the same darkness of spirit until the human being has become soft and compliant and willingly accepts the grace offered from the father's hand in order to solely help the soul out of hardship and distress....

혼이 받는 도움. 도움받지 못하는 혼의 어려운 투쟁.

혼은 해방을 위해 싸우고, 이 싸움은 쉽지 않는다. 그러므로 주님은 너희에게 모든 지원을 하고, 혼이 기꺼이 원하면, 혼은 도움을 느끼고, 그로부터 가장 큰 혜택을 받는다. 그러나 저항하는 혼은 스스로 대적자의 권세에 맞서 싸워야만 하고, 가장 큰 위험에 처한다. 그들의 저항을 없애고, 그런 혼들의 의지를 복종시키기 위해, 주님은 온갖 고난과 환난이 유리한 효과를 주게 하려는 의도로, 저항을 약화시키려는 의도로 그들에게 온갖 고난과 환난을 부과한다. 그러므로 바로 그들에게 주어진 은혜에 대항하여 끊임없이 방어하는 사람들이 자주 여러가지 방식으로 나타나는 어려운 이 땅의 운명을 겪는다.

이런 혼들을 도우려는 저세상의 영의 존재들의 모든 노력이 단호하게 거부되는 경우가 드물지 않는다. 즉 인간은 영적 도움 없이도 삶을 지배할 수 있다고 믿는다. 그는 그에게 도움을 줄 수 있는 모든 가르침을 분명하게 거부하고, 하나님의 말씀이 제공되는 일에 감사하며 기쁨을 환호를 외치지 않는다. 왜냐하면 그의 견해로는 모든 신적인 것들이 가시적으로 이 땅의 사람들을 연결할 수 있기에는 너무 높고, 너무 멀리 떨어져 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 그들은 직접적인 도움을 인정하지 않고, 그들이 일상 생활에서 사용해야 할 은혜라는 말을 이해할 수 없다.

단지 직접적인 영적 경험이 이런 잘못된 견해에서 그들을 해방시킬 수 있다. 다른 한편으로 바로 그런 사람들은 초감각적인 역사를 깨닫기를 원하기 에는 너무 냉정한 생각을 할 것이고, 그들은 초감각적인 역사를 조사하기보다는 모든 것을 즉각 거부할 것이다. 그러므로 어느 쪽에서도 도움을 받아들이기를 원하지 않고, 스스로 영의 세력과 연결을 이루기에는 자신의 믿음이 연약한 혼은 힘들게 될 것이다. 그들은 이 땅에서 씨름하고, 씨름하며, 자신의 견해를 유일한 옳은 것으로 제시하려고 노력한다. 이런 일이 혼에 엄청난 짐을 주어, 혼의 이 땅에서의 어려운 투쟁은 성공하지 못하고, 그의 크게 고통스러운 상황에서 해방되기가 어렵다.

이런 혼을 돕는 일은 매우 어렵다. 왜냐하면 혼이 보고 느낄 수 있는 것 외에는 아무것도 깨닫지 못하기 때문이다. 그러므로 하나님의 은혜의 명백한 공급도 깨닫지 못한다. 따라서 혼은 당연하게도 그 사람이 부드러워지고 관대하게 되어, 아버지의 손에서 유일하게 혼을 위험과 곤경에서 도와줄 은혜를 기꺼이 받아드릴 때까지, 이와 같은 은혜를 누리지 못하고, 전과 같이 영의 어두움 속에 머무른다.
