Useless activity.... worldly problems....

The human being sometimes desires clarification about things which are unimportant and also in no way beneficial or useful to the soul, and this can be called wasted time which is used to investigate such things. For it is without any purpose to solve worldly problems which have nothing to do with the actual earthly task and which also do not serve to further the human being's spiritual knowledge. The time on earth is so short and the task demands complete dedication, and any mental labour which neither serves the well-being of fellow human beings nor the well-being of the soul shortens this time on earth and diminishes spiritual success. The reward for such work is truly small, for it is only the recognition of a few fellow human beings who are also thinking wrongly as they attach too much value to such work. Man should indeed use his intellect.... for God has endowed him with it.... but only in a truly beneficial way.... for the good of his fellow human beings and must therefore be dictated to a certain extent by love for them.... And so every profession that meets people's needs or in some way has a beneficial effect on humanity will be blessed and can stand before the eyes of God, but an activity that only has the purpose of creating works that serve the opposite, that are in no way beneficial and only helps to increase values or power will never find the approval of the divine creator, and one day man will remember in deepest remorse the time he has filled with such activity, whether mentally or physically.... and which did not bring him the slightest benefit for eternity....

L'activité inutile - Problèmes mondains

L'homme désire parfois un éclaircissement sur des choses qui ne sont pas importantes et qui ne lui apportent aucune utilité d’aucune manière ou bien qui soient promotrices pour l'âme, et cela est du temps gâché lorsqu’il est employé pour la recherche de telles choses. Parce que la résolution des problèmes mondains n’apporte aucun bénéfice, ils n'ont rien à faire avec la vraie tâche terrestre et ils ne servent pas à la promotion de l'homme dans le savoir spirituel. Le temps terrestre est si bref, et la tâche requise demande de s’y employer à fond, que tout travail mental, qui ne sert ni au bien du prochain ni au bien de l'âme, abrège ce temps sur la Terre et diminue les chances de succès du point de vue spirituel. La récompense pour un tel travail est vraiment insuffisante, parce qu'elle consiste seulement dans la reconnaissance de quelques hommes qui restent dans leurs pensées erronées, vu qu’ils donnent trop de valeur à un tel travail. L'homme doit certes employer son esprit, parce que Dieu l'a pourvu avec cela, mais seulement d’une manière vraiment utile pour le bien du prochain, et donc ses actes doivent d’une certaine manière être dictés de l'amour. Et ainsi chaque profession, qui couvre chaque nécessité des hommes ou bien qui apporte de quelque façon un effet bénéfique sur l'humanité, rapporte sa Bénédiction et peut rester devant les yeux de Dieu, mais une activité, qui a seulement pour but de créer des œuvres qui servent à un but contraire, qui n’apportent d’aucune façon une utilité et aident seulement à augmenter des valeurs ou le pouvoir, ne trouveront jamais l'approbation du Créateur divin, et un jour l'homme pensera avec le plus profond repentir au temps qu'il a passé a remplir une telle activité, soit mentalement ou corporellement, et qui ne lui a pas procuré la moindre utilité pour l'Éternité.
