The happiness of the lord's dwelling in the heart....

I look favourably upon the one who sacrifices everything on earth to Me, for since his heart is free from all earthly desires, I can now inhabit it.... and with Me indescribable happiness enters the heart.... which, however, is quite different from earthly happiness.... Those who have received Me into their hearts henceforth desire nothing other than My presence, and since they love Me so dearly, this desire will be fulfilled.... I let Myself be found by My child. I only want its love.... I want it to seek Me and long for Me, and then I am always ready to give Myself away.... I grant supreme happiness to the earthly child who has found Me; I take it to My heart and feed and water it with My love. But I can never grant supreme happiness to the one who still carries other desires in his heart. For every desire for earthly joy makes My abode in such a heart impossible, for the world and I are two opposing poles; the world certainly offers countless comforts from an earthly point of view, but it can never insert the feeling of an intimate bond with Me into the goods it distributes.... this would be so unthinkable because two such opposing concepts could never coincide. Those who love the world and its splendour and magnificence cannot tangibly feel the happiness that the presence of the lord triggers. And conversely, man will detest everything earthly if he is given the grace of closeness to God in return. I embrace such a child with such heartfelt love that it is no longer felt by the body but by the spirit, and the latter suddenly regocnizes its origin and forcefully joins the father from eternity.... It has looked into the light and thus from that very hour no longer fears the darkness either, and once the spirit has regocnized itself and tangibly felt the loving approach in the eternal deity and thus glimpsed heavenly delights all earthly desire is killed, for everything the world offers appears stale and empty to the earthly child and it only ever and ever seeks union with the saviour.... For I promise My own unspeakable bliss already on earth if they carry Me in their hearts.... and no longer pay attention to worldly pleasures....

La felicità della presa di dimora del Signore nel cuore

Colui che Mi sacrifica tutto sulla Terra, lo guardo con Compiacimento, perché dato che il suo cuore è libero da ogni desiderio terreno, posso ora dimorare in lui, e con Me entra nel cuore una indescrivibile felicità, che è però del tutto diversa dalla felicità terrena. Coloro che Mi hanno accolto nel loro cuore, d’ora in poi non desiderano più altro che la Mia Presenza., e dato che Mi amano cosi intimamente, questo desiderio viene esaudito. Mi lascio trovare dal figlio Mio. Voglio soltanto il suo amore, voglio che Mi cerchi e Mi desideri, ed allora Sono sempre continuamente pronto a donarMi. Io concedo la più alta felicità al figlio terreno che Mi ha trovato; lo prendo al Mio Cuore e lo nutro e lo abbevero con il Mio Amore. Non posso comunque concedere la felicità più alta a colui, che porta nel cuore altri desideri, perché ogni desiderio che è rivolto a gioie terrene, rende impossibile il Mio soggiorno in un tale cuore, perché il mondo ed Io sono due poli che sono opposti; il mondo offre bensì, visto in modo terreno, incalcolabili piaceri, ma non può mai inserire nei suoi beni che elargisce, il sentimento di intima unione con Me, questo sarebbe impensabile, perché due concetti così opposti non possono mai coincidere. Chi ama il mondo ed il suo scintillio e sfarzo non può comprendere la felicità in modo afferrabile, che viene scaturita dalla Presenza del Signore. E viceversa l’uomo aborrirà tutto il terreno, se per questo gli viene data la Grazia dell’unione con Dio.

Io afferro un tale figlio con un Amore così intimo, che non lo sente più il corpo, ma lo spirito, e questo riconosce all’improvviso la sua origine e si unisce con tutto il potere con il Padre dall’Eternità. Ha guardato nella Luce e sin da quel momento non ha nemmeno più timore dell’oscurità, e se lo spirito si è una volta riconosciuto e ha percepito l’amorevole avvicinamento dell’eterna Divinità e quindi dato uno sguardo nelle delizie celesti, allora ogni desiderio terreno è stato ucciso, perché ciò che il mondo offre, appare scialbo e vuoto al figlio terreno, e cerca sempre e sempre soltanto l’unificazione con il Salvatore, perché Io prometto ai Miei già sulla Terra inesprimibile Beatitudine se Mi portano nel cuore e non badano più alle gioie mondane.
