Inventions.... forces of nature.... faith....

In the age of modern technology, the forces of nature will make a particularly noticeable appearance, as the aim is to prove to people that all earthly ability and knowledge is of no use if the will of God is not respected. The more a person is convinced of himself and his abilities, the more likely he is to deny divine power and his own dependence on it. And the more necessary it is then that the divine power expresses itself. The human being's development necessitates all kinds of facilities to which the divine creator gives His blessing if they arise for the benefit and piety of all humanity.... And all spirit, which is expressed in technical inventions, seeks to have a favourable effect on humanity in order to facilitate its striving for the heights, and thus to a certain extent places itself at the service of humanity. However, it is unexplored forces that provide support where man becomes arrogant. And it is precisely these forces that assert themselves in unforeseen natural disasters.... no matter what kind. Wherever man believes that he has found infallible proof that he can utilize some natural force and banish it by his own efforts, an unjustified natural force comes into play and renders previous experience invalid. Man is given the ability by God to utilize the power from God, but always in the same proportion as he relates himself to God. And that person who recognizes God Himself in all natural power will be able to show undreamt-of success.... who, as it were, tackles all work with God that is for the good of humanity and extends to inventions of all kinds. His research and attempts will be crowned with success, and the divine power will, as it were, overflow into such inventions, while the person who believes to draw from himself and is aware of his extraordinary power (will certainly also request the power from God and will not withhold it from him, but he) will to a certain extent take possession of it unlawfully because he presumes to exclude divinity and thus does not subordinate himself to the divine will.... A counter-current will soon make itself felt there. Obstacles upon obstacles will stand in the way of the person working without divine assistance and he will not be able to master them as he relies on himself and does not ask for help.... And these obstacles will again be due to forces of nature, because everything that acts contrary to divine order will, as it were, also have to bear the consequences of this. And thus, despite overcoming many technical difficulties, the human being will always be backward as long as he does not see in the reign of the natural elements proof that all forces in nature are subject to a lord and creator and that his endeavours will therefore only be successful when he himself likewise fits into the divine order and he is only willing to carry out what corresponds to God's will....

Inventos... Fuerzas de la naturaleza... Fe...

En la era de la tecnología moderna, las fuerzas de la naturaleza aparecerán de manera particularmente notoria, ya que es importante proporcionar a las personas pruebas de que toda capacidad y conocimiento terrenal es inútil, si no se respeta la voluntad de Dios. Cuanto más convencido está el hombre de sí mismo y de sus habilidades, más probable es que niegue el poder divino y su propia dependencia de Él. Y entonces es tanto más necesario que el poder divino se exprese.

El desarrollo de los seres humanos requiere muchas comodidades diferentes para las cuales el Creador divino da Su bendición, si son creadas para el beneficio y el bien de toda la humanidad... Y todo espíritu que encuentra expresión en inventos técnicos busca tener un efecto favorable en la humanidad, para facilitarla la lucha por el ascenso, y así se pone en cierta medida al servicio de la humanidad. Pero son las fuerzas inexploradas las que piden un alto donde el hombre se vuelve arrogante. Y son precisamente estas fuerzas que se afirman en los desastres naturales imprevistos... no importa de qué tipo. Dondequiera que el hombre piense haber encontrado evidencia infalible de que puede hacer uso de alguna fuerza natural y desterrarla, y esto por su propia fuerza, una fuerza de la naturaleza no calculada entra en juego y hace obsoleto la experiencia previa.

Dios ha dado al hombre la capacidad de aprovechar la fuerza de Dios, pero siempre cómo él mismo se relaciona con Dios. Y el que reconoce a Dios Mismo en todo el poder de la naturaleza... quien emprende con Dios toda obra, por así decirlo, que sirve al bienestar de la humanidad y que se extiende a los inventos de todo tipo, podrá mostrar éxitos inesperados. Sus investigaciones e intentos se verán coronados por el éxito, y la fuerza divina se desbordará, por así decirlo, en tales inventos, mientras que quien cree sacar de sí mismo y hombre consciente de su extraordinaria fuerza, probablemente también pide la fuerza de Dios, que tampoco se le niega, pero que en cierto modo toma posesión ilegalmente de ella, por así decirlo, porque pretende eliminar la divinidad y por lo tanto no se somete a la voluntad divina...

Pronto se notará allí una contracorriente. Obstáculos sobre obstáculos se interpondrán en el camino de aquel que trabaja sin el apoyo divino y no podrá dominarlos porque confía en sí mismo y no pide ayuda... Y estos obstáculos a su vez se deben a las fuerzas de la naturaleza, porque todo lo que va en contra del orden divino también tiene que cargar con las consecuencias del mismo. Y así, a pesar de las múltiples superaciones de las dificultades técnicas, el hombre siempre se desarrolla hacia atrás, mientras no ve en las acciones de los elementos de la naturaleza una prueba de que todas las fuerzas de la naturaleza están sujetas a un Señor y Creador y que entonces su esfuerzo por lo tanto, solo tendrá éxito, si él mismo también se subordina en el orden divino y sólo está dispuesto a realizar lo que corresponde a la voluntad divina...
