Spirit bearer.... purpose of all created things.... growth of plants....

Everything created has the primary purpose of serving as a spirit carrier but at the same time also contributes to the preservation of the whole, for one is, as it were, created for the other and necessary for the existence of the latter. No thing in creation was created completely without purpose, rather, it will always mean a complement in such a way that either one draws the vitality from the other or the work of creation corresponds to other needs but has some purpose for the benefit or preservation of the various creatures. It is only to be observed that all spiritual, which enlivens this creation, is not touched by the outer purpose of the form enveloping it, that therefore all spiritual is active in itself completely irrespective of earthly activity, while the outer form always contributes to the perfection of another form and therefore remains equally active in the earthly sense. What is taken from the earth for the growth of the plant is, so to speak, always the outer cover of some soul substance, which is now taken up into the plant world, where it brings about a new form for the same purpose, while the spiritual substance always takes up residence again in the new form, increases through the soul substance taken from the previous form and thus shapes itself into ever greater beings, which likewise have their purposeful destiny in the whole of creation....

Spirit Bearers.... Objetivo de todas as coisas criadas.... Crescimento das plantas....

Tudo o que é criado tem o propósito primordial de servir como portador do espírito, mas ao mesmo tempo também contribui para a preservação do todo, pois um é, por assim dizer, criado para o outro e necessário para a existência deste último. Nenhuma coisa na criação foi criada completamente sem propósito, pelo contrário, significará sempre um complemento de tal forma que ou um retira a vitalidade do outro ou o trabalho da criação satisfaz outras necessidades mas tem algum propósito para o benefício ou preservação das várias criaturas. É preciso apenas observar que todo o espiritual, que vivifica esta criação, não é tocado pela finalidade externa da forma que a envolve, que, portanto, todo o espiritual é ativo em si mesmo, independentemente da atividade terrena, enquanto a forma externa sempre contribui para a perfeição de outra forma e, portanto, permanece igualmente ativa no sentido terreno. O que é retirado da Terra para o crescimento da planta é, por assim dizer, sempre a cobertura exterior de alguma substância anímica, que agora é levada para o mundo vegetal, onde traz uma nova forma para o mesmo fim, enquanto que a substância espiritual sempre se instala novamente na nova forma, aumenta através da substância anímica retirada da forma anterior e assim se molda em seres cada vez maiores, que também têm o seu destino de propósito em toda a criação.
