Spirit bearer.... purpose of all created things.... growth of plants....

Everything created has the primary purpose of serving as a spirit carrier but at the same time also contributes to the preservation of the whole, for one is, as it were, created for the other and necessary for the existence of the latter. No thing in creation was created completely without purpose, rather, it will always mean a complement in such a way that either one draws the vitality from the other or the work of creation corresponds to other needs but has some purpose for the benefit or preservation of the various creatures. It is only to be observed that all spiritual, which enlivens this creation, is not touched by the outer purpose of the form enveloping it, that therefore all spiritual is active in itself completely irrespective of earthly activity, while the outer form always contributes to the perfection of another form and therefore remains equally active in the earthly sense. What is taken from the earth for the growth of the plant is, so to speak, always the outer cover of some soul substance, which is now taken up into the plant world, where it brings about a new form for the same purpose, while the spiritual substance always takes up residence again in the new form, increases through the soul substance taken from the previous form and thus shapes itself into ever greater beings, which likewise have their purposeful destiny in the whole of creation....

혼의 전달자. 창조된 모든 것의 목적. 식물의 성장.

이제 창조된 모든 존재는 우선하여 영을 담는 역할을 하는 목적이 있다. 그러나 동시에 전체의 보존에 이바지한다. 왜냐하면 하나는 다른 하나를 위해 창조되고, 유지되는 데 필요하기 때문이다. 어떤 창조물도 완전히 쓸모없게 창조되지 않았다. 오히려 항상 하나가 다른 하나로부터 생명력을 얻거나 창조물의 다른 필요를 제공하는 방식으로 보충을 의미하고, 이 가운데 서로 다른 피조물에게 유익을 주고, 유지되게 하는 사명이 있다.

한 창조물을 살아있게 하는 모든 영적인 존재들이 영적인 존재가 감싸고 있는 형체의 외적인 사명에 영향을 받지 않는다는 것을 단지 관찰할 수 있다. 따라서 모든 영적인 존재들은 이 땅의 활동과 관계없이 완전히 자체적으로 활동을 한다. 반면에 겉 형체는 항상 다른 형체가 온전하게 되는 일에 도움을 준다. 그러므로 세상의 의미에서 마찬가지로 계속하여 일하는 가운데 머문다. 식물의 성장을 위해 이 땅에서 끌어드리는 것은 항상 어떤 종류의 혼의 입자이고, 이제 식물의 세계로 흡수가 되어, 그곳에서 같은 목적을 가진 새로운 형체를 만들어 낸다. 이때 영적인 입자는 항상 또다시 새로운 형체 안에 거하게 되고, 이 전의 형체에서 취해진 혼의 입자를 통해 증식하여, 이로써 항상 더 큰 존재를 형성한다. 이 더 큰 존재는 마찬가지로 전체 창조물에게 유용한 사명이 있다.
