Care and cult of the body.... anticipating nature.... ageing....

If life on earth becomes difficult for you, take refuge in Me.... I want to be your strength and comfort in difficult times, and whoever walks with Me will overcome all difficulties. But let it be said to you that you must also be active yourselves if you want Me to bless you.

Nature demands its law and so you must submit to the laws of nature, but you must also practice self-conquest where possible. And life will often present you with the decision as to whether you want to be at the will of the body or the soul. And the body will demand many things and you will want to grant them to it, yet the soul's benefit is only slight if the body is granted fulfilment, whereas the soul will gain immensely if the body renounces what is granted to it. The greatest danger of all is that the body is granted the right to rule.... that only its comfort is always taken into account and man's concern is constantly to care for it, and a perpetual cult around it is cause to neglect the actual work on the soul, and (it = ed.) this is certainly conducive to the preservation of the body, but never to the shaping of the soul, and the former is extremely unimportant in relation to the actual earthly task, which must be seriously considered where concern for the physical well-being is predominant. So never let yourselves be tempted to want to anticipate nature by trying to change or stop what must take its natural course. Test your power.... it will be inadequate compared to the existing laws of nature.... yet where the body takes the path of decay, there the soul shall mature and become ever more perfect, which is why the former must pass away to the same extent as the soul endeavours to live spiritually. The soul has to overcome a greater obstacle, as it were, in an outwardly well-educated body, since all inclination to the world is inherent in it and greater demands are made on the soul in overcoming itself through frequent stimuli from the world. Anyone who despises his body but carefully looks after his soul with spiritual care will have made good use of his time on earth and he will also feel purely outwardly well since this does not appear to him to be the only thing worth striving for and he will therefore be provided with everything he needs to live. For I consider My children on earth as it serves them.... I give where they gladly renounce and deny where they are overly desirous of earthly goods, because I do not want the body alone to be considered but the soul should first be rescued from its misery....

Preocupação e culto do corpo.... Antecipando a natureza.... Envelhecimento....

Se a vida na Terra se tornar difícil para si, refugie-se em Mim.... Eu quero ser a sua força e conforto em tempos difíceis, e qualquer um que ande comigo superará todas as dificuldades. Mas que vos seja dito que também vós deveis ser activos se quereis que Eu vos abençoe.

A natureza exige a sua lei, e assim você deve se submeter às leis da natureza, mas também deve praticar a autoconquista onde ela é possível. E a vida muitas vezes irá confrontá-lo com a decisão se você quer fazer a vontade do corpo ou da alma. E o corpo vai exigir muitas coisas e você vai querer concedê-las a ele, mas o benefício da alma só é pequeno se o corpo for cumprido, por outro lado a alma vai ganhar imensamente se o corpo renunciar ao que lhe é prometido. O maior perigo é que o corpo tenha o direito de governar.... que seu conforto seja sempre levado em conta e a constante preocupação do ser humano é cuidar dele, e um culto perpétuo em torno dele é a razão de negligenciar o trabalho real sobre a alma. Isto é certamente útil para a preservação do corpo, mas nunca para a formação da alma, e a primeira é extremamente insignificante em relação à verdadeira tarefa terrena, isto deve ser seriamente considerado onde a preocupação com o bem-estar físico é predominante. Portanto, nunca se deixem tentar querer antecipar-se à natureza tentando mudar ou parar o que tem de tomar o seu curso natural. Tente a sua power.... será inadequado em comparação com as leis existentes da natureza...., mas onde o corpo toma o caminho da decadência a alma amadurecerá e se tornará cada vez mais perfeita, e é por isso que a primeira deve declinar na mesma medida em que a alma se esforça para viver espiritualmente. A alma tem, por assim dizer, um obstáculo maior a superar num corpo exterior bem formado, pois toda a inclinação para o mundo é inerente a ele e maiores exigências são colocadas à alma em autoconquista através de estímulos frequentes do mundo. Quem despreza o seu corpo, mas cuida cuidadosamente da sua alma com cuidado espiritual, aproveitou bem o seu tempo na Terra, e também se sentirá bem puramente externamente, porque isso não lhe parece ser a única coisa pela qual vale a pena lutar, e por isso lhe será providenciado tudo o que precisa para a vida. Pois considero os Meus filhos na Terra como sendo benéficos para eles.... Eu dou onde as pessoas de bom grado se abstêm e falham onde as pessoas avidamente desejam bens terrenos, porque eu não quero que o corpo sozinho seja cuidado, mas a alma deve primeiro ser resgatada da sua adversidade....
