The activity of natural forces according to God's will.... Disaster....

The laws God gave to the world from the beginning as being necessary for the beings' spiritual development are always applicable for the human being's journey through life. Forces often actively oppose them, but these are subject to a superior invisible Authority, they will always experience the effects of their adverse actions as being detrimental to them and will either turn around and work according to God's will or, if they maintain their malicious nature, experience God's power increasingly more severely. Hence, the activity of natural forces, too, is always and forever subject to God's will, for were this left at the mercy of the opposing power everything would soon be a total work of destruction, since the opposing forces only ever cause destruction, whereas God's wisdom and will applies to the preservation of all created things. Where natural forces manifest themselves destructively nevertheless, it is always the work of God's will, but this destruction is by no means the permitted action of evil forces. In that case there are carefully considered reasons for God's intervention which, however, only ever help the advancement of spiritual beings or the development of human beings. Even destruction has its good side in many ways. It releases natural spirits from their indescribably long state of constraint.... other natural spirits may become extensively active and thereby comply with their purpose.... and it arouses sleeping spiritual beings from their tranquillity, which can do nothing but harm to them. The fact that the effects of such destruction are often regretful for humanity is also permitted by God, it refers the complete unbeliever to His existence and is a touchstone for believers, whose strength and faith shall be fortified by it. For only such extraordinary phenomena, which natural catastrophes will always be, can place a person into a state of reflection.... When all human power is not enough to stop it, and rich and poor , high and low are equally subject to such God-intended disasters, then the question may still occur to this or that person as to why humanity has to suffer such a judgment and to what extent a divine power is noticeable. Such questions could lead to a complete turnaround of his present way of thinking and guide the human being to the path of realisation. Every natural disaster is preceded by smaller events which make such thinking easier for the human being, and each previous inner state is, in a manner of speaking, a preparation for the ensuing experience. Would the human being only once realise that all worldly power cannot achieve the slightest change in such elementary effects of nature.... that all those within the vicinity of a natural disaster are at the mercy of it.... he would have to turn his thoughts upwards and try to attain a spiritual explanation....

However, the human race has already become far too arrogant.... at best it will describe such evident activity by the eternal Deity with the words: Activity of natural forces.... and will thereby try to dismiss everything which disagrees with its spiritual attitude. It deems itself knowledgeable and considers everything it does not understand merely an inherent manifestation of nature.... but very rarely a visible intervention by a divine Being. Their most acceptable explanation of all natural phenomena is the continued development affected by the sun's rays which, again, are still an unexplored source of strength in the universe and which manage to achieve all life on earth, but, in accordance with that, people are nothing else but living beings having been brought to life through these natural forces, who have their beginning and end on this earth. The fact that one Being is in control of the whole universe, Which, in accordance with Its wise plan, through Its will and omnipotence, has placed each one of the living creations, from the tiniest creature to the crown of creation, the human being.... on this earth for a specific purpose.... cannot be grasped by such uninformed people. They do not acknowledge such a Being and, therefore, will never regard the activity of natural elements as the manifestation of God's will. Those who are further away, who are not affected by it, don't pay any particular attention to such disasters; they only ever quote similar instances and thus quickly dismiss such events. And God must use increasingly more obvious means.... He must ever more quickly let one disaster follow another and have a serious effect on people if these phenomena are to make an impression. It is regrettable as to how seldom the suffering of fellow human beings triggers true sympathy.... and how habitually a hint from above is taken in. And so the signs will have to take on ever greater proportions are they to arouse people from their tranquillity. Only when their own lives are in danger will they attach importance to something, and thus much suffering and fear will still have to be people's fate.... and things will have to manifest themselves which draw people's attention to a will which cannot be resisted.... Yet even exceptionally unusual natural phenomena will be explained and accepted with the greatest of ease, because worldly scholars are instantly willing to give a completely natural explanation for everything people cannot understand, yet such an explanation will never refer to God's reign and activity and His will. They deem themselves superior to this and therefore have a completely misguided point of view which cannot be of any benefit to the people they are instructing. Many a person will still change his attitude and, therefore, will still have to make many sacrifices until he gains completely realisation, and in order to precipitate this, the Lord will now intervene more than ever by rattling and shaking the world so that all those living on it shall take note and pay attention to the divine voice, which informs them of God's will, of His omnipotence and wisdom, and anyone who looks upon every natural phenomenon and the turbulent reign of the elements in this sense, will recognise these as the voice of God and make an effort to always do what is right before God....

L’agire delle potenze della natura nella Volontà di Dio - La catastrofe

Per la via della vita degli uomini valgono sempre le Leggi, che Dio ha dato sin dal Principio del mondo come necessarie per lo sviluppo spirituale degli esseri. Sovente delle forze agiscono contro questi, ma una Potenza invisibile è superiore a loro, sentiranno sempre gli effetti del loro agire contrario come svantaggioso per sé stessi e ritorneranno all’attività voluta da Dio, oppure restando nella loro cattiveria, sentiranno sempre più forte la Potenza di Dio. Così anche l’agire delle potenze della natura sono sempre ed eternamente sottoposte alla Volontà di Dio, perché se queste fossero esposte al potere opposto, allora tutto sarebbe molto presto un’unica opera di distruzione, dato che le forze contrarie operano sempre soltanto in modo distruttivo, ma la Sapienza e la Volontà di Dio è sempre per la conservazione di tutto il creato.

Dove ora si manifestano ancora distruttive le potenze della natura, anche la Volontà di Dio è sempre attiva, ma queste distruzioni non sono una concessione alle forze cattive. Allora esistono dei motivi saggi, che fanno intervenire Dio in questo modo, che però servono sempre soltanto ad una certa promozione di esseri spirituali oppure allo sviluppo di esseri umani viventi.

Anche le distruzioni hanno il loro vantaggio in senso molteplice. Degli spiriti della natura si liberano da una prigionia nella forma indicibilmente lunga, altri spiriti della natura possono essere generosamente attivi e da ciò segue la loro destinazione, e degli esseri spirituali dormienti vengono scossi dalla loro calma, che è sempre nociva a questi.

Che tali distruzioni hanno sovente l’effetto doloroso per l’umanità, è pure una Concessione di Dio, una indicazione alla Sua Esistenza ai totalmente miscredenti ed una pietra di prova per i credenti, la cui forza e fede deve fortificarsi in queste. Perché soltanto questi fenomeni straordinari, che rimangono sempre tali catastrofi della natura, sono in grado di trasportare gli uomini in uno stato di riflessione. Quando non e sufficiente imporre un freno con tutto il potere degli uomini, ed ugualmente sia il povero che il ricco, alto e basso sono esposti a tali catastrofi volute da Dio, allora in uno o nell’altro rimane ancora la domanda aperta, per quale ragione un tale giudizio punitivo riguarda gli uomini, e in ciò quanto è riconoscibile un Potere divino? E queste domande possono condurre ad una totale trasformazione del pensare e guidare l’uomo sulla via della conoscenza.

Ad ogni catastrofe della natura precedono degli avvenimenti minori, che facilitano agli uomini questo pensare ed ogni stato interiore precedente è per così dire una preparazione alla seguente vicissitudine. Riconoscete soltanto una volta tanto bene, che tutto il potere mondano non può creare il minimo cambiamento con tali effetti elementari della natura, che tutti ne sono esposti coloro, che si trovano nella regione di una catastrofe della natura, e l’uomo dovrebbe volgere i suoi pensieri in Alto e cercare di ottenere un chiarimento spirituale, ma l’umanità è già andata troppo oltre nella sua presunzione che mette in ogni caso ancora per un tale agire evidente dell’eterna Divinità la parola: l’agire delle forze della natura, e con ciò cerca di mettere da parte tutto ciò che non vuole piacere alla sua predisposizione spirituale. Si ritiene sapiente, e quello che non le è comprensibile, lo ritiene appunto soltanto fondato nella manifestazione della natura stessa. Nei casi più rari però, come un visibile intervento di un Essere divino.

La spiegazione a lei più plausibile di tutti i fenomeni della natura è lo svilupparsi sotto l’influenza dei raggi del sole, che sono a loro volta ancora di nuovo una fonte d’energia nel Cosmo non esplorato che produce tutta la vita sulla Terra, per cui anche gli uomini però non sono altro che degli esseri viventi risvegliati da tali forze della natura, che hanno il loro inizio e la loro fine su questa Terra. Che a tutto nell’intero Cosmo presieda un Essere Che ha posto su questa Terra, secondo il Suo saggissimo Piano mediante la Sua Volontà e la Sua Onnipotenza, ogni creatura, dalla più minuscola fino alla corona della Creazione, l’uomo, per un determinato scopo, non vuole illuminare tali uomini ignoranti. Non riconoscono un Tale Essere e perciò non vedono nemmeno mai nel governo degli elementi della natura la Volontà di Dio che si manifesta.

Coloro che stanno lontani, che non sono colpiti, non badano particolarmente a tali catastrofi; menzionano sempre soltanto dei casi simili, e con ciò finisce tutto presto con tali avvenimenti. E Dio deve impiegare dei mezzi sempre più evidenti. Egli deve far seguire sempre più velocemente tali catastrofi e coinvolgere gli uomini, se questi fenomeni devono avere qualche impressione.

E’ deplorevole, quanta poca vera sensibilità scaturisce dalla sofferenza dei prossimi, e quanto abituale viene accolta una indicazione dall’Alto. E così i segnali dovranno assumere delle dimensioni sempre più potenti, se gli uomini devono essere scossi dalla loro tranquillità. Solo quando la propria vita è in pericolo, assegnano il significato ad una cosa, e perciò molta sofferenza e paura deve essere la sorte degli uomini, e dovranno manifestarsi delle cose, che attirano l’attenzione degli uomini ad una Volontà, a Cui non possono opporre resistenza.

Persino dei fenomeni della natura del tutto straordinari vengono spiegati ed accettati con la massima naturalezza, perché i saggi del mondo sono subito pronti a dare una spiegazione del tutto naturale per tutto ciò che agli uomini è incomprensibile, ma un tale Agire e Governare non si riferirà mai alla Volontà di Dio. Si arrogano di essere superiori a tutto ed in questo hanno un punto di vista totalmente errato, che non può essere di nessuna utilità agli uomini dati a loro da istruire. Qualcuno dovrà ancora cambiare il suo punto di vista e perciò dovrà portare anche qualche sacrificio, finché non giunge alla piena conoscenza, e per accelerare questo, il Signore interviene più sovente che mai e scuote e scrolla il mondo, affinché tutti coloro, che vi vivono, devono fare attenzione e badare alla Voce divina che annuncia loro la Volontà di Dio, la Sua Onnipotenza e Sapienza, e chi considera in questo senso ogni fenomeno della natura ed ogni governare tempestoso degli elementi, li riconoscerà presto già come la Voce di Dio e si sforzerà, di fare sempre è giusto davanti a Dio.
