Transition to the spiritual world.... will.... spiritual powers....

If the desire arises in the soul to serve only the lord of heaven and earth, then all good spirit beings will support and encourage such a soul in order to soon bring it into a state where the soul unites with the spirit. Under certain conditions the soul will turn more and more to the spiritual, and this happens to a great extent when there are no obstacles in its way caused by the more worldly desires of the body. The further the world is removed from the senses, the more unhindered the soul can pursue its activity, and only in such pure spiritual work will it find its satisfaction. However, people who are unable to separate themselves from the world, from matter, will not be able to reach this state, for such people lack the inner urge, and this is indispensable for the promotion of spiritual activity. Wherever the opportunity presents itself to escape the worries of the world and to replace them with concern for the soul, success will be achieved that is infinitely more valuable than the benefit that earthly activity can ever bring to a person.

There are not many who can so completely turn away from worldly duties, worries and worldly pleasures.... but these few are to be called unspeakably rich, as they are in full possession of their spiritual abilities.... and can utilize them profitably for eternity. But once a person has made the transition to the spiritual world, the earthly world no longer seems desirable to him.... he may walk through the earthly valley until the end of his life, but without gaining any attraction from it that could be harmful to his soul life. Only in view of eternity, in recognizing the divine creator and His works, does he look at the earth and all creations with spiritual eyes, and this only brings him benefit for his soul.... for it increases his love for the father of all being.... it awakens unlimited reverence and unconditional submission to the divine will.... And thus the soul offers itself to the heavenly father by completely subordinating itself to Him and striving for union with the divine spirit in the will to attain God. In a short time it will also succeed in doing so because the will is always decisive, and thus the will of a human child alone will always be assessed and this will also be complied with as much as possible.... and the deeper and more intimate the desire is, the more certain the desire will also be fulfilled.... For whatever you want, you will receive, if only you ask from the heart.... Thus man prepares for himself the state in which he finds himself.... for he will always receive what he strives for in his innermost heart and he will therefore not be able to blame anyone other than himself if his situation is not satisfactory. After all, he has it completely in his own hands to shape himself, and the spiritual power that he draws upon through his will will always come to his aid.... the good or the evil.... But where a person allows himself to be guided by love, there will be no need to fear going astray, but every action will result in a separation of the soul from the body, i.e. from bodily desires, and nothing will stand in the way of the soul's union with its spirit. God's love is infinite and also seeks to intervene wherever the soul still walks in blindness, and if only the human being then willingly surrenders to the silent guidance then he will be given full light on earth....

영적 세계를 향한 통로.... 원하는 의지.... 영의 세력들....

혼 안에 하늘과 땅의 주님만을 단지 섬기려는 소원이 자리를 잡으면, 모든 선한 영적 존재들이 혼이 영과 연합하는 상태로 즉시 들어가게 하기 위해 혼을 지원하고 격려한다. 어떤 조건 아래 혼은 점점 더 영적으로 변할 것이다. 이런 일이 육체에서 나오는 더 세속적인 욕망의 장애물이 없다면, 크게 일어날 것이다. 혼은 생각에서 세상이 멀어 질수록 더 방해받지 않고 자신의 일을 추구할 수 있고, 단지 이런 순수한 영적인 일에서 만족할 수 있다.

그러나 자신을 세상으로부터 물질로부터 분리시킬 수 없는 사람은 이런 상태에 도달할 수 없다. 그런 사람에게 내적인 갈망이 부족하기 때문이다. 이런 갈망은 영적인 일을 지원하는 데 없어서는 안되는 요소이다. 세상의 걱정을 벗어나고 그 대신에 혼을 대한 염려가 들어서게 할 수 있는 가능성이 있는 곳에서 이 땅의 일이 사람에게 가져올 수 있는 혜택보다 훨씬 더 큰 가치가 있는 성공을 하게 될 것이다. 세상의 의무와 걱정과 세상의 기쁨에서 완전히 돌이킬 수 있는 사람은 많지 않다. 그러나 이 소수는 그들의 영적 능력들을 충분히 소유하고 있기 때문에 말할 수 없게 부자라고 할 수 있다. 그들은 이 능력들을 영원을 위해 유익이 되게 활용할 수 있다.

그러나 한 사람이 영적 세계를 향한 통로를 발견하면, 이 땅의 세상이 그에게 더 이상 갈망할 만하게 보이지 않게 된다. 그는 실제 그의 인생의 마지막 날까지 이 땅의 계곡에서 살 것이다. 그러나 그의 혼의 삶에 해를 끼칠 수 있는 자극이 그를 사로잡지 못한다. 단지 영원을 바라보는 가운데, 창조주 하나님과 그의 역사를 깨닫는 가운데 그는 영의 눈으로 이 땅과 모든 창조물을 바라본다. 이런 일은 그의 혼을 단지 이롭게 한다. 왜냐하면 그런 일이 모든 존재의 아버지에 대한 사랑을 증가시키기 때문이다.

그런 일이 하나님의 뜻에 대한 무한한 경외심과 무조건적인 복종을 일으킨다. 그러므로 혼은 자신을 완전히 하늘의 아버지께 복종시키고 하나님께 도달하려는 의지로 하나님의 영과 하나가 되기를 추구하면서 하늘의 아버지에게 자신을 바친다. 짧은 시간 내에 혼은 성공할 것이다. 왜냐하면 의지가 항상 결정적이기 때문이다. 그러므로 항상 유일하게 인간의 자녀의 의지로 평가하고 최대한으로 가능한 한 이 의지대로 응해준다. 소원이 깊고 긴밀할수록 이 소원은 더 확실하게 성취될 것이다. 왜냐하면 너희가 원하는 것을 단지 심장으로 구하면, 너희가 원하는 모든 것을 받을 수 있기 때문이다. 이로써 사람은 자신이 처한 상태를 스스로 만든다.

왜냐하면 그가 가장 깊은 심장에서 추구하는 것이 항상 그에게 주어지고 자신의 형편이 자신에게 만족스럽지 않으면, 자신 외의 다른 사람을 비난할 수 없기 때문이다. 그가 자신을 형성해 나가는 일에 스스로 손을 대면, 그의 의지를 통해 끌어드리는 선하거나 또는 악한 영의 세력들이 도움을 주면서 그에게 다가올 것이다. 사람이 사랑에 의해 인도를 받는 곳에서는 절대로 잘못된 길로 갈까 봐 두려워할 필요가 없고 모든 행하는 일이 혼과 육체를 분리시키는 일이, 다시 말해 육체적 욕망으로부터 분리되는 일이 결과를 가져올 것이고, 혼과 혼의 영의 결합을 아무 것도 방해할 수 없게 될 것이다. 하나님의 사랑은 무한하고, 혼이 여전히 눈이 먼 가운데 살고 있는 곳마다 개입하려고 시도한다. 그러면 사람이 단지 기꺼이 조용한 인도에 자신을 맡기면, 그는 이 땅에서 빛으로 가득하게 될 것이다.
