Divine grace....

Very few of you appreciate the grace of the lord, and people believe that they can achieve by their own efforts what should be the goal of all of you. And yet they can do nothing without the grace of God.... This is why people so often take the wrong path; their own will drives them to.... they pay no attention to divine grace, do not desire it in prayer and are thus left to their own devices. And then their behaviour is purely human and earthly. Those who entrust themselves to divine grace and the lord will always progress far more quickly. For it is easy for them to recognize, they will attain a sharper power of judgement.... The innermost instinct of the heart will always guide them in a way that is pleasing to God. And the willpower will be strengthened to carry out what the heart dictates. Thus divine grace works ever more intensely the more it is implored in prayer, and what then still burdens the soul are always only trials of a lighter nature in order to strengthen its power of resistance. For the time on earth, devotion to the lord is completely sufficient to secure all kinds of means of grace, for the lord will not abandon anyone who merely trusts Him.... He wants all children to turn to Him and will therefore also provide for them abundantly so that no one's path on earth shall be too difficult. And with this help in mind, earthly life will also bring the human being the success which is the goal of his soul.... What now seems inexplicable to you humans, what is incomprehensible to you or creates doubt in you.... put all this to the heart of your saviour, He will give you clarity in all things, for you may speak like children to the father and you will never be left without an answer. But one thing is necessary.... that you truly feel like children of your father.... that you are full of faith to find all strength from the heavenly father and also to be granted all help if only you make an effort to do so. Without faith you cannot ask from the heart, and then divine grace cannot be granted to you either. For faith will always be the first.... If you believe that there is a father in heaven, that He cares for you as His children.... then it will also be easy for you to ask Him for His help from the bottom of your heart, and then you will be blessed with grace forever. Heaven's greatest joy is the joy of willing, trusting children.... Faith and good will are the prerequisites for a God-pleasing life on earth.... The lord's grace supports all endeavours and reveals the spiritual truths to the earthly child, and thus the path upwards will become increasingly easier as long as the will and the heart are always turned towards the father. And standing in His sun of grace you have nothing to fear on your earthly path which could harm your soul.... For the body may perish but the soul shall be able to enter the heavenly kingdom unharmed at the end of days....

하나님의 은혜...

너희 가운데 가장 소수의 사람들이 주님의 은혜를 귀하게 여길 줄을 안다. 사람들은 자신의 힘으로 너희 모두의 목표에 도달할 수 있다고 믿는다. 그러나 그들은 하나님의 은혜가 없이는 아무 일도 할 수 없다. 그러므로 사람들은 종종 잘못된 길로 간다. 그들 자신의 의지가 그들을 잘못된 길로 가도록 촉구한다. 그들은 거룩한 하나님의 은혜를 존중하지 않고, 기도로 이 은혜를 갈망하지 않는다. 따라서 그들은 자신에 대한 책임을 스스로 져야만 한다.

그러면 그들의 행동은 순전히 인간적이고 세속적이다. 자신을 하나님의 은혜와 주님께 맡기는 사람들은 항상 훨씬 더 빨리 전진할 것이다. 왜냐하면 그들은 깨닫기가 쉽기 때문에 더 날카로운 판단력을 얻을 것이기 때문이다. 심장의 가장 깊은 곳의 원동력이 항상 그들에게 하나님을 기쁘게 하는 일을 하도록 알려줄 것이다. 그리고 심장이 지시하는 일을 행하기 위한 의지의 힘이 강하게 될 것이다. 그러므로 하나님의 은혜를 기도로 더 많은 간청할수록, 하나님의 은혜는 점점 더 강하게 역사하고, 혼에게 아직 부담을 주는 일은 항상 그들의 저항력을 강하게 하기 위한 더 쉬운 종류의 시험일뿐이다.

주님은 자신을 단지 신뢰하는 사람을 버리지 않기 때문에, 이 땅의 기간 동안 주님을 향한 헌신만으로도 온갖 은혜의 수단을 확보하기에 충분한다. 그는 모든 자녀가 자신에게 향하기를 원하기 때문에 풍성하게 줄 것이고, 이로써 이 땅의 길이 어느 누구에게나 너무 어렵지 않게 한다. 이 도움을 염두에 두고 이 땅의 삶은 사람에게 자신의 혼의 목표에 성공을 가져다줄 것이다. 이제 너희 사람들에게 설명할 수 없게 보이는 것이, 너희가 이해할 수 없는 것이 또는 너희 안에 의심을 불러 일으키는 이 모든 것을 너희의 구세주의 심장에 드리라. 그는 모든 일에 너희에게 선명함을 줄 것이다.

왜냐하면 너희는 자녀들처럼 아버지에게 말할 수 있기 때문이다. 너희는 대답을 받지 못하게 되지 않을 것이다. 그러나 한 가지가 필요하다. 너희가 아버지의 자녀라고 진정으로 느끼는 일과 너희가 하늘에 계신 아버지에게서 모든 힘을 얻을 것이며, 너희가 단지 모든 도움을 받기에 합당하게 되기 위해 노력 만하면 합당하게 될 수 있다는 전적인 믿음을 갖는 일이다. 너희는 믿음이 없이는 심장으로 구할 수 없다.

그러면 너희는 하나님의 은혜를 받을 수 없다. 왜냐하면 믿음이 항상 첫째가 될 것이기 때문이다. 하늘의 아버지가 너희를 자신의 자녀로 돌본다는 것을 믿으면, 너희는 또한 너희의 가장 깊은 심장에서 그의 도움을 구하기가 쉬울 것이다. 그러면 너희는 어떤 경우 든 은혜로 축복받을 것이다. 천국의 가장 큰 기쁨은 기꺼이 의지하고 신뢰하는 자녀들에게 있는 기쁨이다. 믿음과 선한 의지가 하나님을 기쁘게 하는 이 땅의 삶을 위한 전제 조건이다. 의지와 심장이 항상 단지 아버지를 향해 있다면, 위를 향한 길은 항상 더 쉬워질 것이다. 주님의 은혜의 태양 아래 있는 가운데 너희는 너희의 이 땅의 길에서 너희의 혼을 해칠 수 있는 어떤 것도 두려워할 필요가 없다. 왜냐하면 육체는 사라질 수 있지만 혼은 마지막 날에 손상이 없이 하늘나라에 들어갈 수 있어야 하기 때문이다.
