Forgiveness of sins.... II.

No human being is given the means to redeem himself from his guilt of sin.... he will always require the divine Saviour's love for this. Neither has a person himself the power to forgive other people's sins.... only if he acts in his ministry as a representative of the eternal Deity on earth and the other person's heart is utterly sincere, that is, if the latter appeals to the heavenly Father for forgiveness in complete realisation of his sin. Hence, the earthly child's will is only ever the decisive factor, and the action of God's representative is merely a symbolic sign of the act of grace.... Therefore, the act of confession of one's sins will therefore also always be utterly useless, even if a duty has apparently been fulfilled, if the same confession of sins is not sent to the divine Father in a most heartfelt prayer for forgiveness at the same time. And, alternatively, such a remorseful confession of sins to the Father will also result in true forgiveness of this sin without this ceremony. People are often no longer aware of how distant they are from the actual Deity, even though they comply with all expectations imposed on them by the church on earth.... Something that should be a sincerely heartfelt requirement has become an entirely mechanical act.... And thus, such compliance with duties cannot always result in the same blessing.... People's hearts must find God, the intimate contact with the Creator and Redeemer must be established first, then the Lord will provide His earthly children with an abundance of grace, so that they will come ever closer to Him and soon no longer want to live without their Saviour on earth. However, the person must take the first step.... everyone knows when he has sinned.... And just as he has found sin by himself, he must also find inner reflection.... if he recognises his sin, he will also learn to abhor it, and then follow remorse and the wish to be released from the guilt.... but in that case his prayer for forgiveness will come from the heart and will also reach the ear of the One Who alone redeems all guilt on account of His great love....

Remisión de los pecados

Ninguna criatura tiene el privilegio de poder librarse del peso de sus pecados por sí sola: para ello siempre necesitará el Amor del Salvador divino. Tampoco el hombre tiene el poder de perdonar los pecados a sus semejantes. A no ser cuando ve que el corazón de un pecador está muy conmovido y que, plenamente consciente de haber pecado, implora perdón al Padre del Cielo. En este caso, cumpliendo su oficio, el hombre puede perdonarle.

Lo único decisivo es la voluntad de la criatura, en tanto que la intervención del representante no es sino una manifestación simbólica del acto de Gracia de Dios. De modo que la confesión de los pecados resulta totalmente inútil, aunque mediante ella el pecador cumpla aparentemente su deber ante la Iglesia, si al mismo tiempo no se dirige al Padre divino pidiéndole su perdón. Y de manera análoga, la confesión de los pecados al Padre acompañada por un pleno arrepentimiento, produce un verdadero perdón, perfectamente válido sin necesidad alguna de ceremonia por parte del representante.

Las criaturas no saben lo mucho que se han alejado de la verdadera Divinidad aunque siempre cumplan todas las exigencias que la Iglesia terrenal les prescribe. Lo que debiera ser un deseo vivo del corazón se ha convertido en un mecanismo inanimado.

De modo que cumplir así las reglas de la Iglesia poca bendición traerá porque, ante todo, los corazones tienen que inclinarse hacia Dios y entrar en unión íntima con el Creador y Salvador. Entonces la Gracia del Señor estará con las criaturas, las cuales consiguen acercarse cada vez más a Él y pronto ya no querrán permanecer en la Tierra sin su Salvador. Pero dar el primer paso es cosa de la misma criatura. Cada cual sabe muy bien cuando ha pecado. Del mismo modo que ha encontrado el camino del pecado, también tendrá que encontrarlo él solo el de la introspección. Y cuando aprenda a despreciar el pecado, se arrepentirá y le vendrá el deseo de ser liberado de su carga. Entonces la oración por el perdón de los pecados surgirá del corazón, y seguro que llegará a los oídos de Aquel que es el único que remite los pecados gracias a su gran Amor.
