Rejecting the idea of survival after death....

It is an impossible to begin to want to point out to men at times of complete spiritual blindness that the state of their souls after death is one of their own choice or self-seeking.... but that they can never ever arbitrarily improve this state as soon as they have once stripped off the body-cover. How can one want to draw men's attention to such things when they reject any thought of a continuation of the soul after death..... How is it possible to bring into such hearts the impulse to spiritual activity when they still shake their heads and dismiss everything that could point to a survival after death. How can one want to draw people's attention to such things when they reject any thought of a continuation of the soul after death..... How is it possible to bring into such hearts the impulse to spiritual activity when they still shake their heads and dismiss everything that could point to survival after death. They believe in their blindness to simply sink back into nothingness and prefer this thought by far to the belief in survival, because then they would also be spared the responsibility, which they still shy away from, even if they do not want to admit it....

Now the Lord Himself enters.... He still wants to gain access to people's hearts.... therefore all that develops through your hands is also an all-explanatory proof of the work of the divine Spirit. The Lord never lets those whose will is good, remain in ignorance, and these will be pointed out through unmistakable signs to the visible rule of God.... but one thing will always remain.... that man now also only strive to turn his spirit there from where alone he can be and will be given insight.... but this man will also find the way to truth, and the power of God will meet him with assistance, when it is earnestly implored for in prayer....

Le refus de la pensée d’une continuité de la vie après la mort

Occupe-toi des Paroles qui t'arriveront aujourd'hui: c’est le début inouï de la volonté d’indiquer aux hommes en ces temps de totale cécité spirituelle que l'état de leurs âmes après la mort est la conséquence de ce à quoi ils ont aspiré eux-mêmes, et qu'ils ne peuvent ensuite jamais améliorer arbitrairement cet état une fois qu'ils auront quitté l'enveloppe du corps. Comment peut-on indiquer aux hommes une telle chose quand ils refusent n'importe quelle pensée concernant une existence de l'âme après la mort, comment peut-on mettre un désir à l'activité spirituelle dans de tels cœurs chez des personnes qui secouent la tête envers tout ce qui pourrait indiquer une continuité de la vie après la mort? Dans leur aveuglement ils ne croient simplement à rien et préfèrent de loin cette pensée à la foi dans une continuité de la vie, parce qu'alors ils espèrent se soustraire à la responsabilité qu’ils craignent, même s’ils ne veulent pas l'admettre. Maintenant le Seigneur Lui-même se met à l'Œuvre. Il veut se procurer l'accès aux cœurs des hommes, donc ce qui se lève sous tes mains est une démonstration qui explique tout sur l’Activité de l'Esprit divin. Le Seigneur ne laisse jamais attendre dans l'ignorance de l'esprit ceux qui sont de bonne volonté et à eux il est indiqué au travers de signes substantiels l’Activité visible de Dieu, mais une chose restera toujours, c’est que maintenant l'homme doit aussi s’efforcer tout seul d’orienter son esprit dans la direction d’où uniquement lui peut venir et viendra l'Éclaircissement, et celui-là trouvera la Vérité, et la Force de Dieu viendra à sa rencontre en l'aidant si celle-ci est sérieusement implorée par la prière.
