Barmherzigkeit.... Verhärtet eure Herzen nicht....

Was ihr wollet, das euch die Menschen tun sollen, das tuet ihnen auch. Versetzet euch stets in die Lage des Mitmenschen, der in Not ist, und denket daran, wie dankbar ihr wäret, wenn euch aus dieser Not herausgeholfen würde, und dann handelt, wie es in euren Kräften steht, und es wird recht sein vor Meinen Augen. Läßt euch aber die Not des Bruders kalt, dann ist euer Herz schon verhärtet, und dann wird es euch schwerfallen, in das Himmelreich Eingang zu finden, denn dann seid ihr ohne Liebe, dann erfüllet ihr nicht Meine Gebote, und eure Seele kann nicht ausreifen.... die Wesenswandlung geht nicht vonstatten, die aber Zweck und Ziel eures Erdenlebens ist. Die Not des Mitmenschen kann wohl auch verschuldet sein, und dennoch sollet ihr ihm helfen, denn auch ihr selbst könnet in Sünde fallen und dadurch in Not geraten, und ihr werdet auch Meine Liebe und Barmherzigkeit in Anspruch nehmen, weil ihr euch unglückselig fühlet.... Wenn euer Herz verhärtet ist, wenn ihr teilnahmslos vorübergehet an einem in Not befindlichen Menschen, so versetzet euch gedanklich in die gleiche Notlage.... und es wird das Eis schmelzen, es wird eine Welle der Erbarmung über euch fluten, so ihr überhaupt noch wandlungsfähig seid.... Denn wisset, daß ihr alle in die gleiche Notlage geraten könnet; wisset, daß ihr euer Schicksal nicht selbst bestimmt und ihr darum nichts von euch abwenden könnet, was Ich über euch kommen lassen will zum Zwecke eurer Erziehung.... Was heut euren Nächsten betrifft, kann morgen schon euer eigenes Los sein, und erwartet ihr dann Hilfe, dann schenket sie auch dem Nächsten, und ihr werdet wohl daran tun.... Denket nicht selbstgerecht, fühlet euch nicht erhaben, und sehet nicht auf euren Mitmenschen herab, weil ihr irdisch besser gestellt seid oder scheinbar das Schicksal besser meistert.... Denn dann veranlaßt ihr Mich, euch in gleiche Lagen geraten zu lassen, auf daß ihr es fühlet, was ihr zuvor nicht verstehen wolltet.... Verhärtet eure Herzen nicht.... sondern lasset euch berühren von jeder Not, und suchet Hilfe zu bringen. Denn ihr gebet und empfanget reichlich zurück, was ihr ausgeteilt habt. Und ihr gewinnet euch die Herzen der Beschenkten, und das ist euer größter Gewinn, daß euch gute Gedanken nachfolgen, daß eurer in Liebe gedacht wird, was eure Seele als Kraft empfindet zum eigenen Ausreifen. Und denket immer an Meine Worte: "Was ihr dem geringsten eurer Brüder tut, das habt ihr Mir getan...." Dann wird es euch leichtfallen, Not zu lindern.... Und so ihr Gott nun über alles liebt, werdet ihr auch eurem Nächsten nicht die Liebe versagen.... und ihr werdet Meine Gebote erfüllen und ausreifen an eurer Seele....

Mercy.... do not harden your hearts....

Whatever you want people to do to you, do it to them. Always put yourselves in your fellow human being's position of need and think of how grateful you would be if you were helped out of this adversity, and then act according to your strength and it will be right in My eyes. But if your brother's adversity leaves you cold, then your heart will already be hardened and then it will be difficult for you to enter the kingdom of heaven, for then you will be without love, then you will not fulfil My commandments and your soul will not be able to mature.... the change of nature will not take place, but this is the purpose and aim of your earthly life. Your fellow human being's adversity can certainly also be your fault and yet you should help him, for you yourselves can also fall into sin and thereby become adversity, and you will also make use of My love and mercy because you feel unhappy.... If your heart is hardened, if you pass by a person in distress indifferently, mentally place yourselves in the same predicament.... and the ice will melt, a wave of mercy will flood over you, if you are still able to change at all.... For know that you can all get into the same predicament; know that you do not determine your own fate and that you therefore cannot avert from yourselves what I want to bring upon you for the purpose of your education.... What concerns your neighbour today can already be your own fate tomorrow, and if you expect help then also give it to your neighbour and you will do well by it.... Don't think self-righteously, don't feel exalted and don't look down on your fellow human being because you are earthly better off or seem to master fate better.... For then you cause Me to put you in the same position so that you feel what you did not want to understand before.... Do not harden your hearts.... but let yourselves be touched by every adversity and seek help. For you give and receive back abundantly what you have given out. And you win the hearts of those you give to, and that is your greatest gain, that good thoughts follow you, that you are remembered with love, which your soul feels as strength to mature itself. And always remember My words: "Whatever you do to the least of your brothers, you have done to Me." Then it will be easy for you to alleviate hardship.... And as you now love God above all things, you will not fail to love your neighbour either.... and you will fulfil My commandments and mature in your soul....
