Richtung des Denkens und Wollens der Seele.... Geist oder Körper....

Je geringeren Widerstand die Seele dem Geist in sich entgegensetzt, desto offensichtlicher kann er sich äußern, und desto vernehmlicher ist seine Stimme dem Menschen, denn dann bestimmt die Seele auch die körperlichen Sinne und Organe zu ihren Funktionen, die dann dem Einfluß des Geistes entsprechen. Also muß das Denken und Wollen des Menschen sich vorerst auf das Innenleben beziehen, auf daß der Geist im Menschen wirksam werden kann. Und so kann vom Geist Gottes niemals ein Mensch erfüllt sein, dessen Denken und Wollen vorwiegend der Erhaltung und dem Wohlleben des Körpers gilt. Denn dann vermag weder die Seele die Stimme des Geistes in sich zu vernehmen, noch könnte sie den Verstandesorganen geistiges Gut vermitteln, da dieser dazu gleichfalls aufnahmeunfähig wäre. Und so ist der ernste Wille, vom Geist in sich belehrt zu werden, erste Voraussetzung, daß er sich äußert, denn der Wille geht von der Seele aus und kann dem Geist oder dem Körper gelten. Und der Wille bestimmt die Gedanken, die jedoch dann vom Geist im Menschen ausgehen, sowie diesem das Wirken möglich gemacht worden ist. Dann aber kann der Mensch sich völlig seinem Einfluß überlassen, er wird stets recht denken und handeln, so er die Bedingung erfüllt, die das Wirken des Geistes zulassen. Erstmalig also muß das Denken und Wollen des Menschen auf sein Innenleben gerichtet sein, er muß die Seele bedenken wollen und nicht den Körper.... Ferner muß er sich klar sein darüber, daß er eine Aufgabe zu erfüllen hat auf Erden, er muß sich klar sein, daß er das göttliche Liebegebot sich zur Richtschnur seines Lebenswandels machen muß, um den Willen Gottes zu erfüllen; er muß ferner nach reinster Wahrheit Verlangen tragen und solche innerlich suchen.... er muß horchen nach innen, was Gott als der Geber der Wahrheit ihm durch Seinen Geist vermittelt. Er muß bitten um Seine liebevolle Belehrung, ansonsten ihm die köstlichste Gabe Gottes vorenthalten wird, weil er sie nicht entsprechend würdigt. Und also muß die Seele ständig arbeiten an sich, d.h. ihr Denken, Fühlen und Wollen ganz dem Willen Gottes anpassen und so sich zum Aufnahmegefäß des göttlichen Geistes gestalten, der dann unbeschränkt wirken kann in ihm. Der Vorgang an sich ist eine Kraftübertragung aus dem geistigen Reich, d.h., Gott Selbst leitet Seine Ausstrahlung in das Herz des Menschen, der also nun Göttliches in sich birgt, das in Erscheinung treten muß, in Form von Wissen, von tiefster Weisheit, also lichtvollster Erkenntnis. Der Zustand des Wissens ist schon eine Angleichung an die ewige Gottheit, Die in Sich pur Licht und Kraft ist. Menschen, in denen der göttliche Geist wirken kann, werden stets lichtumflossen sein, doch nur dem geistig zu schauen Vermögenden erkenntlich, während das körperliche Auge nichts Sonderliches wahrnimmt, nur aus den äußerlichen Wirkungen, am vermehrten Wissen, der Mensch auf göttliches Geisteswirken schließen kann. Ist aber ein Mensch von Licht umflossen, dann ist er auch selbst Lichtträger, er ist gleichsam im Verband stehend mit der geistigen Welt eine Kraftstation geworden, die nun wieder ihrerseits abgeben kann und also die göttliche Ausstrahlung weiterleitet dorthin, wo sie ohne Widerstand aufgenommen wird.... Jede Kraft- und Lichtzuleitung benötigt die Willigkeit des Empfangenden. Der geringste Widerstand jedoch verhindert sie, Widerstand aber wird durch Denken und Wollen entgegengesetzt.... durch ein Abwenden der Seele vom Geist in ihr und ein Zuwenden zum Körper, d.h. ein Eingehen auf dessen Wünsche und Begierden. Dann einet sich die Seele mit dem Körper, anstatt ihrer Aufgabe gemäß die Vereinigung mit dem Geist in sich herzustellen, der dann für eine völlige Vereinigung mit dem Vatergeist von Ewigkeit Sorge trägt. Also wird es der Seele anheimgestellt, nach welcher Richtung sie sich wendet; von seiten des Geistes findet sie stets Unterstützung, von seiten des Körpers jedoch niemals. Dieser fordert ständig, während jener gibt und als einzige Gegenleistung Aufgeben des Widerstandes fordert, um ungehindert wirken zu können, d.h., seinen Einfluß auf die Seele voll und ganz zur Geltung zu bringen.... Gelingt es der Seele mit Hilfe des Geistes auch den Körper ihren Wünschen geneigt zu machen, so ist auch die Vergeistigung des Körpers gewährleistet, d.h., seine materiellen Substanzen treten gleichfalls in den Zustand ein, der Lichtdurchstrahlung zuläßt, jeglicher Widerstand ist aufgegeben, und es hat dies zur Folge, daß die Seele in aller Klarheit des Geistes Stimme in sich vernimmt und sie auch dem körperlichen Ohr vernehmbar wiedergeben kann, daß also der Mensch die göttliche Stimme tönend in sich vernimmt und im hellsten Licht steht, d.h. von tiefstem Wissen erfüllt ist, weil Gottes Liebekraft in aller Fülle ihn durchströmt, weil die Vereinigung des Geistes im Menschen mit dem Vatergeist von Ewigkeit stattgefunden hat und die Seele ausgereift ist und als Lichtwesen eingehen kann in das geistige Reich zu ungeahnter Seligkeit....

Direction of thought and will of the soul.... spirit or body....

The less resistance the soul opposes the spirit within itself the more obviously it can express itself and the more audible its voice is to the human being, for then the soul also determines the bodily senses and organs to its functions, which then correspond to the spirit's influence. Thus the human being's thinking and willing must first relate to the inner life so that the spirit can become effective in the human being. And thus a person can never be filled by God's spirit if his thoughts and intentions are predominantly directed towards the preservation and well-being of the body. For then the soul would neither be able to hear the voice of the spirit within itself nor would it be able to impart spiritual good to the intellect's organs, since the latter would likewise be unable to receive it. And thus the serious will to be instructed by the spirit in itself is the first prerequisite for it to express itself, for the will starts from the soul and can apply to the spirit or the body. And the will determines the thoughts which, however, then start from the spirit in the human being as soon as the working has been made possible for it. But then the human being can completely leave himself to its influence, he will always think and act correctly if he fulfils the conditions which allow the working of the spirit. First of all, therefore, the human being's thinking and willing must be directed towards his inner life, he must want to think about the soul and not about the body.... Furthermore, he must be aware of the fact that he has to fulfil a task on earth, he must be aware that he must make the divine commandment of love the guiding principle of his way of life in order to fulfil God's will; furthermore, he must long for purest truth and inwardly seek it.... He must listen inwardly to what God, as the giver of truth, conveys to him through His spirit. He has to appeal for His loving instruction, otherwise God's most precious gift will be withheld from him because he does not appreciate it accordingly. And thus the soul must constantly work on itself, i.e. completely adapt its thinking, feeling and wanting to God's will and thus shape itself into the receptacle of the divine spirit, which can then work in it without restriction. The process itself is a transmission of strength from the spiritual kingdom, i.e. God Himself directs His emanation into the heart of the human being, who therefore now harbours divine within himself, which must appear in the form of knowledge, of deepest wisdom, thus of light-fullest realization. The state of knowledge is already an alignment with the eternal deity, Who in Himself is pure light and power. People in whom the divine spirit can work will always be surrounded by light, yet only recognizable to those who are spiritually able to see, whereas the physical eye perceives nothing special, only from the external effects, from the increased knowledge, can the person conclude to divine spiritual working. But if a person is surrounded by light then he is also a bearer of light himself, he has become, as it were, a station of strength in contact with the spiritual world, which can then emit light again and thus pass on the divine emanation to where it will be received without resistance.... Every transmission of power and light requires the willingness of the receiver. The least resistance, however, prevents it, but resistance is counteracted by thinking and wanting.... by the soul turning away from the spirit in it and turning towards the body, i.e., entering into its wishes and desires. Then the soul unites itself with the body instead of establishing the union with the spirit within itself according to its task, which then takes care of a complete union with the eternal father-spirit. Thus it is up to the soul in which direction it turns; it always finds support on the part of the spirit but never on the part of the body. The latter constantly demands, while the latter gives and demands as the only service in return the giving up of resistance in order to be able to work unhindered, i.e., to bring its influence on the soul to full and complete effect.... If the soul, with the help of the spirit, also succeeds in making the body inclined to its wishes, the spiritualization of the body is also guaranteed, i.e., its material substances likewise enter the state which allows light to pass through, all resistance is given up, and the result is that the soul hears the spirit's voice within itself in all clarity and can also audibly convey it to the bodily ear, that the human being thus hears the divine voice resounding within himself and stands in brightest light, i.e., filled with profoundest knowledge, i.e. he is filled with the deepest knowledge, because God's strength of love flows through him in all fullness, because the unification of the spirit in the human being with the father-spirit has taken place from eternity and the soul has matured and can enter the spiritual kingdom as a being of light to unimagined bliss....
