Starker oder geschwächter Wille zum Empfangen.... Liebe zu Gott....

Das bewußte Sich-Versenken in einen geistigen Zustand erfordert erhöhte Willenskraft und muß daher stets und ständig geübt werden, weshalb der Mensch nicht davon ablassen soll, um nicht lau und unfähig zu werden für eine Aufgabe, die ein solches Versenken bedingt. Es muß der Mensch sich üben im Ausschalten jeglicher Gedanken, will er die feine Stimme in sich vernehmen; und ferner muß er aufmerksam lauschen nach innen. Der Geist Gottes ist stets bereit, göttliche Gabe darzubieten, doch die Seele nicht immer fähig, das ihr Gebotene aufzunehmen. Und sowie die Seele sich nicht völlig aufschließet, kann ihr der Geist die göttliche Gabe nicht vermitteln, oder aber die Seele vernimmt nur unklar und ihr nicht recht verständlich, was ihr der Geist aus Gott mitteilen will. Es ist aber der Geist gebewillig, und er hat kostbares Gut auszuteilen, weshalb die Seele jede Möglichkeit nützen sollte, um kostbare Gabe zu empfangen. Denn diese bedeutet für die Seele geistigen Reichtum, der unvergänglich ist. Es sind dem empfangenden Erdenkind keine Grenzen gesetzt, wenn nur der Wille des Menschen so stark ist, daß er sich völlig löst von der irdischen Welt. Sowie ihm dies gelingt, kann sich schon der Geist aus Gott äußern und nun den Menschen belehren. Das Horchen nach innen erfordert größte Selbstüberwindung, denn es muß alles Denken ausgeschaltet werden, auf daß nur geistiges Gut vom Herzen zum Gehirn geleitet werden kann. Und diese Gnade ist die Folge von rechtem Lebenswandel vor Gott und von vermehrtem Liebewirken, und darum wird desto leichter der Mensch seine Gedanken ausschalten können, je tätiger er die Nächstenliebe ausübt. Desto klarer und verständlicher werden ihm die Gedanken zuströmen, bis der Mensch ohne Anstrengung den Zustand erreicht, wo ihm die Gedanken unaufhaltsam und ohne Pause zuströmen und ebenso wiedergegeben werden können, denn dann ist des Geistes Wirken so stark, daß es dem Menschen unweigerlich ein reiches Wissen eintragen muß. Zuvor aber muß der Mensch noch sehr ringen und beten, und zwar desto mehr, je schwerer es ihm fällt, in innige Fühlungnahme zu treten mit Gott und Seinen Wesen im Jenseits. Durch inniges Gebet kann er die Kraft aus Gott anfordern, die er benötigt für seine Seele, daß sie die Stimme des Geistes in sich vernimmt und also die göttliche Gabe in Empfang nehmen kann....

Strong or weakened will to receive.... love for God....

Consciously immersing oneself in a spiritual state requires increased willpower and must therefore be practiced constantly and continuously, which is why the human being should not desist from it in order not to become lukewarm and incapable for a task that requires such immersion. Man must practice switching off all thoughts if he wants to hear the subtle voice within himself; and furthermore he must listen attentively inwards. The spirit of God is always ready to offer divine gifts, but the soul is not always able to receive what is offered to it. And as soon as the soul does not open itself completely, the spirit cannot impart the divine gift to it, or the soul only hears unclearly and not quite understandably what the spirit wants to tell it from God. However, the spirit is willing and has precious gifts to hand out, which is why the soul should make use of every opportunity to receive precious gifts. For this means spiritual wealth for the soul, which is everlasting. There are no limits for the receiving earthly child if only the human being's will is so strong that he completely detaches himself from the earthly world. As soon as he succeeds in this, the spirit from God can already express itself and now instruct the human being. Listening inwards requires the greatest self-conquest, for all thinking must be eliminated so that only spiritual good can be channelled from the heart to the brain. And this grace is the result of a right way of life before God and of increased activity of love, and therefore the more actively a person practices neighbourly love the easier he will be able to switch off his thoughts. The clearer and more comprehensible the thoughts will flow to him until the human being reaches the state without effort where the thoughts flow to him unstoppably and without pause and can likewise be returned, for then the working of the spirit will be so strong that it will inevitably result in rich knowledge for the human being. But before that the human being still has to struggle and pray very much, and indeed the more the more difficult it is for him to enter into intimate contact with God and His beings in the beyond. Through heartfelt prayer he can request the strength from God which he needs for his soul so that it can hear the voice of the spirit within itself and thus receive the divine gift....
