Gottferne - Schwächezustand....

Der Zustand der Gottferne ist ein Zustand der Schwäche, und ob auch der Mensch glaubt, im Vollbesitz seiner Kraft zu sein, und mit dieser schalten und walten kann nach seinem Belieben. Doch nur irdischen Erfolg wird er verzeichnen können.... wenn dies im göttlichen Willen liegt.... nicht aber irgendwelchen geistigen Erfolg, und nur letzterer ist maßgebend für die Ewigkeit.... Das Erdenleben ist bald vorüber, und irdischer Erfolg hat keinen bleibenden Wert. Was auch der Mensch beginnt, der Gott fernsteht, er wird nicht die Unterstützung der guten Kräfte finden, denn sie geben ihre Hilfe nicht einem Beginnen, das der Vermehrung der Materie gilt. Was aber in Gott-fernem Zustand getätigt wird, trägt auch zur Vermehrung der Kraft dessen bei, der sich Gott entgegenstellt. Opfert der Mensch seinen Willen, d.h., unterstellt er diesen dem Willen Gottes, so ist das Verlangen in ihm wach geworden, Gott näherzukommen, und nun geht ihm auch die Kraft zu.... Es ist sein Schwächezustand überwunden, und das desto mehr, je widerstandsloser er sich Gott hingibt. Er nähert sich nun dem Urzustand, dem Zustand, in dem das Wesenhafte im Vollbesitz der Kraft aus Gott war, der aber niemals sein kann bei einem Wesen, das sich von Gott, als dem Kraftspender, entfernt hat. Der Erdenwandel ohne Gott kann dem Menschen daher niemals geistigen Erfolg eintragen, denn es gibt nur zwei Möglichkeiten, die Verbindung mit Gott und also guten Kräften herzustellen zum Empfang der Kraft, die aus Gott ist, oder den Willen dem Gegner Gottes zuzuwenden, was die Kraftzufuhr aus Gott unmöglich macht. Wer aber Gott nicht anerkennt, der ist Ihm fern.... und dem Widersacher entsprechend näher, der ihn immer zum Handeln gegen Gott anregen wird. Und dieser Anregung leistet der Mensch auch Folge, der Gott fernsteht.... Und er gibt sich sonach freiwillig in die Gewalt dessen und bleibt ein schwaches Geschöpf, unfähig in jeder Weise, sich geistig zu entwickeln.... Er ist völlig geschwächt, und dies aus eigener Schuld, da es ihm freistand, sich anstatt dem Widersacher Gott zuzuwenden, und er seinen Willen nützet in Gott-gegnerischer Weise. Gottferne ist Schwäche.... Gottnähe Kraft und Stärke.... und es steht dem Wesen frei, seinen Zustand zu wählen....

God distance - state of weakness....

The state of remoteness from God is a state of weakness, even if a person believes that he is in full possession of his power and can do with it as he pleases. However, he will only be able to achieve earthly success.... if this is within the divine will.... but not any spiritual success, and only the latter is decisive for eternity.... Earthly life is soon over and earthly success has no lasting value. Whatever a person begins who is distant from God, he will not find the support of the good forces, for they do not give their help to a beginning that is aimed at the increase of matter. But what is done in a state far from God also contributes to increasing the power of the one who opposes God. If the human being sacrifices his will, i.e. if he submits it to God's will, then the desire to come closer to God has awakened in him and now he also has the strength to.... His state of weakness is overcome, and the more he surrenders to God without resistance, the more so. He is now approaching the original state, the state in which the being was in full possession of the strength from God, but which can never be with a being that has distanced itself from God as the source of strength. The earthly change without God can therefore never bring spiritual success to man, because there are only two possibilities, to establish the connection with God and therefore good powers to receive the power, which is from God, or to turn the will towards the opponent of God, which makes the supply of power from God impossible. However, anyone who does not recognize God is far from Him.... and correspondingly closer to the adversary, who will always inspire him to act against God. And the person who is far from God also follows this suggestion.... And he therefore voluntarily gives himself over to his power and remains a weak creature, incapable in every way of developing spiritually.... He is completely weakened, and this through his own fault, since he was free to turn to God instead of the adversary and he uses his will in a God-opposing way. Distance from God is weakness.... closeness to God is strength and vigour.... and the being is free to choose its state....
