Gebet....

Und so sollet ihr im Gebet verharren, denn ihr seid schwache Kindlein, die allzeit des Vaters Hilfe benötigen. Und eure Sorge soll stets sein, euch Seiner Hilfe würdig zu erweisen, denn was euch der Vater im Himmel tut, das tut Er aus Liebe zu euch. Wollet ihr nun diese Seine Liebe besitzen, so müsset ihr es Ihm beweisen, daß ihr Seine Kinder seid, indem ihr Seinem Willen nachkommt.... Und dazu benötigt ihr Kraft, die ihr in gläubigem Gebet erflehen sollt. Und daher ist das Gebet die erste Sprosse nach oben; es vermag das Erdenkind alles, so es zum Gebet seine Zuflucht nimmt, denn der Vater Selbst hat euch die Verheißung gegeben mit Seinen Worten: Bittet, so wird euch gegeben.... klopfet an, so wird euch aufgetan.... Ein jeder Ruf, der aus dem Herzen kommt, dringt zum Vater und wird auch Erhörung finden, so es zum Seelenheil des Menschen dienlich ist. Die Macht des Gebetes ist so groß, daß ungeahnte geistige Kraft dem Erdenkind zur Hilfe gesandt wird und jeglicher Bitte entsprochen wird, so es im Willen des himmlischen Vaters liegt. Doch nur das Gebet kann erhört werden, das demütig bittend und kindlich vertrauend zum Vater emporgesendet wird.... es muß das Gebet widerspiegeln das rechte Verhältnis zu Gott.... Wie ein Kind dem Vater sein Anliegen vorträgt, so soll das bittende Erdenkind mit jeglichem Anliegen zu Ihm kommen, in Dessen Macht allein es liegt, jegliche Bitte zu erfüllen. Das Gebet ist die bewußte Verbindung mit Gott.... Denn es setzet das Gebet auch den Glauben voraus, daß eine höhere Macht alle Gewalt hat und daß Gott Seine Geschöpfe liebt. Es beweiset, daß das Geschöpf seinen Schöpfer anerkennt.... es stellt das Gebet das rechte Verhältnis her zwischen beiden, und es beweist das Gebet das Verlangen des Erdenkindes zum Vater des Alls. Und so ihr also bittet und euer Anliegen dem Herrn vortraget, bekennet ihr euch zu dem Urgeist, Der euer Ausgang ist, und ihr betretet die Brücke, die zur Wiedervereinigung führt, denn es ist das Gebet der erste Schritt zum Vater.... es ist das Gebet die einzige Möglichkeit, aus der Tiefe zur Höhe zu gelangen, denn es wird durch das Gebet dem Erdenkind vermittelt Kraft und Stärke, die Arbeit an sich, an seiner Seele, zu beginnen und also die Kluft, die es vom Vater trennt, zu überbrücken.... Und so der Mensch Kämpfe zu bestehen hat, gleich welcher Art, ist immer das Gebet die Zuflucht zu Dem, Der allem Schweren ein Ende setzen kann.... So ihr recht, d.h. im Geist und in der Wahrheit, betet, wird euer Flehen erhört werden, auf daß ihr im Glauben an Seine Liebe und Allmacht stark werdet....

Prayer....

And so you should persevere in prayer, for you are weak little children who always need the father's help. And your concern should always be to prove yourselves worthy of His help, for whatever the father in heaven does for you He does out of love for you. If you now want to possess this love of His you must prove to Him that you are His children by complying with His will.... And for this you need strength, which you should implore in faithful prayer. And therefore prayer is the first rung upwards; the earthly child is able to do everything if it resorts to prayer, for the father Himself has given you the promise with His words: Ask and it will be given to you.... knock and it will be opened to you.... Every call that comes from the heart reaches the father and will also be heard if it is useful for the salvation of a person's soul. The power of prayer is so great that undreamt-of spiritual strength is sent to help the earthly child and every request is granted if it is in accordance with the will of the heavenly father. Yet only prayer which is sent up to the father in humble supplication and childlike trust can be answered.... prayer must reflect the right relationship with God.... As a child presents its request to the father, so the asking earthly child should come to Him with every request, in Whose power alone it lies to fulfil every request. Prayer is the conscious connection with God.... For prayer also presupposes the belief that a higher power has all authority and that God loves His creatures. It proves that the creature regocnizes its creator.... prayer establishes the right relationship between the two, and prayer proves the desire of the earthly child for the father of the universe. And thus, when you pray and present your request to the lord, you acknowledge the original spirit, Who is your origin, and you enter the bridge which leads to reunification, for prayer is the first step towards the father.... prayer is the only way to ascend from the abyss, for it is through prayer that the earthly child receives the strength and vigour to start working on itself, on its soul, and thus to bridge the gulf which separates it from the father.... And if the human being has to endure battles of whatever kind, prayer is always the refuge to the one Who can put an end to everything that is difficult.... If you pray correctly, i.e. in spirit and in truth, your supplications will be heard so that you will become strong in faith in His love and omnipotence....
