Vorübergehende Begierden Einwirkung böser Macht....

Wenn sich die Gedanken nach oben erheben, so ist das Herz willig, und es sucht bewußt die Verbindung mit dem Herrn. Und Seine Gnade und Liebe kommt ihm entgegen, und der Seele Not ist gemildert. Dem Erdenkind wird jeglicher Mangel an Liebe nachgesehen, wenn es reuig diesen erkennt und selbst darunter leidet. Doch wird es sich auch bemühen müssen, mit doppeltem Eifer das Versäumte nachzuholen, und es wird dies allen Willen erfordern. Doch die Seele erkennt nun den wahren Lebensinhalt und findet keine rechte Ruhe, so sie ihm einmal weniger nachkam. Und eine völlige Trennung von der ewigen Gottheit ist ihr nicht mehr möglich, wenn auch die Materie noch zeitweise überstark auf den Menschen einwirkt, so daß er sich des Begehrens nicht enthalten kann.... Es ist dies nur vorübergehend, denn es befriedigt das Erdenkind nicht mehr restlos, sondern es ist diese Begierde nur das Einwirken böser Kräfte, es ist der Versuch des Abwendig-machen-Wollens von seiten des Widersachers.... Doch so leicht läßt der göttliche Herr und Heiland keinen fallen, der nach Ihm verlangt, und es wird der Welt-Genuß nur zu bald ein schales, leeres Vergnügen sein dem, dessen Herz Ihm schon gehörig ist.... Das Leben des einzelnen fordert gleichsam seinen Tribut, und es wird der Mensch nur mit Einsetzung seines ganzen Willens Herr werden seiner Begierden.... Er wird es aber auch einstens dankbar empfinden, daß ihm die Liebe des Vaters den restlosen Genuß oft gestört, denn es ist dies nur der Seele zum Segen. Und so wird alles Irdische an Wert verlieren, und die Versuchungen werden immer schwächer werden und seltener an das Erdenkind herantreten, denn es verheißet der Herr allen Seine Hilfe und Seine Kraft, die Ihn von Herzen darum bitten und Ihm ihre Liebe beweisen, indem sie ihren Willen tätig werden lassen, um allen Versuchungen zu widerstehen....

When the thoughts rise upwards, the heart is willing and consciously seeks the connection with the lord. And His grace and love comes to meet it, and the soul's hardship is alleviated. The earthly child will be forgiven for any lack of love if it repentantly recognizes it and suffers from it itself. But it will also have to make an effort to make up for what it has missed with double zeal, and this will require all its will. But the soul now recognizes the true purpose of life and finds no real peace if it once followed it less. And a complete separation from the eternal deity is no longer possible for it, even if matter still temporarily has an overpowering effect on the human being so that he cannot refrain from desire.... This is only temporary, because it no longer completely satisfies the earth child, but this desire is only the effect of evil forces, it is the adversary’s attempt to turn away.... But the divine lord and savior does not let anyone who longs for Him fall so easily, and the enjoyment of the world will only too soon be a state, empty pleasure for those whose heart already belongs to Him.... The life of the individual takes its toll, as it were, and the human being will only become master of his desires by using all his will.... But one day he will also feel grateful that his father’s love has often disturbed his complete enjoyment, because this is only for the soul’s blessing And thus everything earthly will lose value, and temptations will become increasingly weaker and approach the earthly child less frequently, for the lord promises His help and His strength to all who ask Him for it from the bottom of their heart and prove their love to Him by letting their will become active in order to resist all temptations....
