Erkenntnis seiner selbst.... Liebe....

In diesem wie in jenem Leben hat nur das eine bleibenden Wert, daß sich die Seele selbst erkennt; erst dann ist es ihr möglich, den Weg nach oben zu gehen. Ein Fortschreiten ohne diese Erkenntnis ist völlig ausgeschlossen, denn in der geistigen Finsternis wird jede Handlung, ob hier oder im Jenseits, sich nur materiell auswirken.... d.h., ihr werden immer materielle Interessen zugrunde liegen, und solche können niemals das Seelenheil fördern. Wenig wertvoll ist es deshalb, wenn der Mensch auf Erden auch gute Handlungen nur aus ebensolchem Grunde begeht. Solche Taten sind nicht angesehen von Gott, denn ihre Kraft ist gering.... Was nicht aus Liebe getan wird, ist auch nicht wohlgefällig vor Gott.... Es ist nur Tribut an die Welt.... Regen Geistes wird der Mensch erkennen müssen, daß die Erde mit allem, was auf ihr besteht, immer nur das Mittel zum Zweck ist.... Daß also niemals die Güter der Erde selbst begehrt werden sollen, sondern nur alles auf der Welt dazu dienen soll, als irdisch erkannt zu werden, gemieden oder dazu verwandt, Taten der Liebe durch solche ausüben zu können.... Der Herr gibt euch so reichlich Mittel in die Hand, die euch dem ewigen Ziele zuführen können.... Ihr aber benützet diese für euch selbst, ihr freuet euch daran und gieret danach.... und so werden diese Mittel für euch Werke des Teufels, durch die er euch in seine Fallstricke zu ziehen versucht.... Erkennet ihr aber den Unwert alles Irdischen und erkennet ihr euch selbst, dann werdet ihr den Sieg davontragen über solche Versuchungen. Hingeben alles, was ihr besitzet, um dem Nächsten damit zu helfen, trägt den größten Segen in sich. Ist die geistige Erkenntnis des Menschen so weit gereift, daß er nun die Arbeit an seiner Seele beginnen kann, dann wird er auch voller Eifer sein Streben verfolgen, und immer wird der Gedanke für ihn Leitstern sein, daß er durch sein Streben dem Heiland nahekommt, daß alles, was er auf Erden freiwillig hingibt, dereinst durch die Nähe des Heilands vergolten wird. Je unbewußter das Drängen zum Heiland ist, je mehr es aus tiefer Liebe heraus das Herz erfüllt, desto eher wird diese Sehnsucht des Herzens erfüllt werden und desto mehr wird Seine Nähe das Erdenkind beglücken, denn alles, alles wurzelt in der Liebe.... wer diese hat, der ist schon selig hier auf Erden und wird dereinst überselig sein in des Herrn Nähe.... wo alles nur pure Liebe ist. Erst wenn die Liebe völlig euer Herz erfüllt, wird all euer Denken und Handeln auf Erden so sein, daß es dem Sinn der ewigen Gottheit entspricht.... Darum pfleget die Liebe, und euch wird ein Maß zuteil werden in der Ewigkeit, daß ihr überselig seid in der Nähe des Herrn....

Recognizing oneself.... love....

In this life, as in the afterlife, the only thing of lasting value is that the soul recognizes itself; only then will it be able to take the path upwards. Progress without this realization is completely impossible, for in spiritual darkness every action, whether here or in the beyond, will only have a material effect.... i.e. it will always be based on material interests, and such interests can never promote the salvation of the soul. It is therefore of little value if a person only commits good deeds on earth for the same reason. Such deeds are not recognized by God, because their power is low.... What is not done out of love is also not pleasing to God.... It is only tribute to the world.... With active spirit, man will have to recognize that the earth with everything that exists on it is always only the means to an end.... That therefore the goods of the earth itself should never be desired, but only everything in the world should serve to be recognized as earthly, shunned or used to be able to perform deeds of love through such.... The lord gives you so many means which can lead you to the eternal goal.... But you use them for yourselves, you delight in them and lust after them.... and so these means become works of the devil for you, through which he tries to draw you into his snares.... But if you recognize the worthlessness of all earthly things and recognize yourselves, then you will be victorious over such temptations. Giving up everything you possess in order to help your neighbour is the greatest blessing. If a person's spiritual realization has matured to such an extent that he can now start working on his soul, then he will also pursue his endeavour with great zeal, and the thought will always be his guiding star that he will come close to the saviour through his endeavour, that everything he voluntarily gives on earth will one day be rewarded by the saviour's closeness. The more unconscious the urge towards the saviour is, the more it fills the heart out of deep love, the sooner this longing of the heart will be fulfilled and the more His nearness will make the earthly child happy, for everything, everything is rooted in love.... whoever has this is already blessed here on earth and will one day be blissfully happy in the lord's nearnes.... where everything is pure love. Only when love completely fills your heart will all your thoughts and actions on earth be such that they correspond to the meaning of the eternal deity.... Therefore cultivate love, and a measure will be given to you in eternity that you are blissfully happy in the nearness of the lord....
