“Werp al uw zorgen op Mij”
En Ik zeg u: het is waarlijk beter dat u naar Mij vlucht in het gebed, dan dat u zich angstig zorgen maakt om in de behoeften van het lichaam te voorzien. Want alleen Ik kan u geven wat u nodig hebt. En alleen mijn wil is doorslaggevend, hoever uw aardse bezorgdheid u succes oplevert. Als u echter bidt zult u deze wil ertoe brengen u hulp ten deel te laten vallen. En dan is het de terechte zorg als u ze aan Mij zult overlaten. U moet weliswaar op aarde uw plicht vervullen. U moet uw functie ernstig nemen en de plek innemen waarop u geplaatst bent. Maar elke angstige bezorgdheid om de toekomst moet u laten varen. Want zult u ze voor uzelf veilig kunnen stellen? Wanneer mijn wil er tegen is, bent u tevergeefs bezorgd. En wanneer mijn wil u laat toekomen wat u nodig hebt, dan moet u ernaar streven dat deze wil van Mij u goedgunstig wordt door een Mij welgevallige levenswandel en door verbondenheid met Mij. Vergeet nooit dat u een liefhebbende Vader hebt Die zich om Zijn kinderen bekommert. En streef er alleen naar als Zijn kind te worden aangenomen. Een vader die zijn kinderen liefheeft zal hen nooit met lege handen laten weggaan. Veeleer zal hij aan al hun behoeften tegemoet komen en trachten de kinderen een bestaan zonder zorgen te bereiden. En zo bent ook u als mijn kinderen steeds onder de trouwste hoede, en geestelijk en lichamelijk zal het u aan niets ontbreken. Maar uw kindschap zult u Mij moeten betuigen, door innig tot Mij te bidden, tot uw Vader van eeuwigheid. Wees niet angstig bezorgd, maar werp al uw zorgen op Mij. En mijn vaderliefde zal ze van u afnemen overeenkomstig uw geloof en uw levenswandel. Streef er daarom naar dat u leeft volgens mijn wil. En mijn wil zal u genegen zijn. Mijn liefde zal de zorg voor uw geestelijk en aards welzijn overnemen en u zult zich zorgeloos aan Mij mogen overgeven.
Maar wie zich angstig zorgen maakt, behoort de wereld nog toe. Hij ziet in Mij nog niet de Vader tot Wie hij kan vluchten in elke nood en elk gevaar. Hij vertrouwt nog te zeer op zijn eigen kracht en daarom is hij steeds weer aan teleurstellingen en nieuwe noden en zorgen blootgesteld, tot hij zich Diegene herinnert, Die alle zorgen van hem af kan nemen, Die Zijn vaderliefde kenbaar wil maken, doch in innig gebed daarom gevraagd wil worden.
Laat daarom alle aardse zorgen varen, u die mijn kinderen wilt zijn, en laat Mij voor u zorgen.
Denk aan de ziel. Let op haar nood en tracht hem te verhelpen.
En Ik wil u leiden door aardse noden en gevaren, opdat u de kracht van het geloof voelt en zich steeds inniger bij Mij aansluit. Want een sterk geloof is in staat alle nood te verdrijven.

"Cast all your worries on Me...."
And I say to you that it is truly better that you take refuge in Me in prayer than that you anxiously worry in order to cover the body's needs. For only I can give you what you need, and only My will is decisive as to how far your earthly worries will bring you success. But if you pray you determine this will to grant you help, and then it is the right care if you leave it to Me. You should indeed fulfil your duty on earth, you should take your office seriously and fill the place you have been placed in, but you should drop all anxious worry about the future, for can you secure it for yourselves? If My will is against it, you worry in vain, and if My will provides you with what you need, therefore make every effort to make this will of Mine inclined towards you through a pleasing way of life and unity with Me. Never forget that you have a loving father Who takes care of His children and only strives to be accepted as His child.... the father Who loves His children will never let them go empty-handed but will cover all their needs and try to provide a carefree existence for the children. And thus you, as My children, are always in the most faithful care, and spiritually and physically you will lack nothing. But you have to testify to your childship to Me by intimately praying to Me, your father from eternity. Do not worry anxiously but cast all your worries upon Me and My fatherly love will take them away from you according to your faith and your way of life. And therefore strive to live according to My will, and My will will be inclined towards you, My love will take over the care for your spiritual and earthly well-being, and you may carelessly hand yourselves over to Me.... But anyone who anxiously worries still belongs to the world, he does not yet recognize in Me the father to Whom he can take refuge in every adversity and danger; he still trusts too much in his own strength and is therefore repeatedly exposed to disappointments and new hardships and worries until he remembers the one Who can take all his worries away, Who wants to express His fatherly love but wants to be approached for it in heartfelt prayer.... And therefore drop all earthly worries, you who want to be My children, and let Me take care of you.... Remember the soul, pay attention to its adversity and seek to remedy it.... And I will guide you through earthly hardship and danger so that you will feel the strength of faith and join Me ever more closely. For a strong faith is able to banish all adversity....
