Geestelijke stromingen – Het woeden van de duistere krachten tegen het licht

De krachten van de duisternis voeren onophoudelijk strijd tegen de lichtvolle wereld en de verschillende geestelijke stromingen hebben zo’n effect, dat de mensen vaak erg lastiggevallen worden, zodra ze in zulke stromingen terecht komen. Waar de waarheid succes dreigt te hebben, waar de mensen door hun levenswandel toenemen in het vermogen om inzicht te krijgen en ze nu tot aannemen bereid zijn, daar woedt de duistere macht op een buitengewone manier. Ze gebruikt elke gelegenheid om de haar ontglippende zielen ten val te brengen en ze probeert de dragers van de waarheid onschadelijk te maken, wat de lichtwezens van hun kant verhinderen. Toch is het wezen van de duisternis een zekere vrijheid gelaten om zijn kracht aan de wil van de mens te beproeven. Maar de mens staat eveneens kracht ter beschikking, zodra hij zich aan de goede kracht toevertrouwt en haar om hulp vraagt.

Deze geestelijke strijd is toch van het grootste belang, want naarmate er toch een onvermoede krachtstroom door de lichtwezens naar de aarde geleid wordt, des te bitterder ontbrandt de strijd. Zo’n strijd kan in zoverre grote geestelijke successen opleveren, als deze krachtstroom door veel mensen, die hun harten bereidwillig openen om te ontvangen, gevoeld wordt. Die zich nu zonder tegen te werken aan de invloed van de lichtwezens overgeven en nu ziende en wetende worden. Dus de waarheid herkennen en deze met vreugde aannemen.

En deze zielen ontsnappen aan de macht van degene, die de vorst van de leugen is. Ze keren zich vol afschuw van zijn werkzaam zijn af en streven bewust naar Degene, die de waarheid Zelf is. In hen is het licht en helder geworden en de lichtvolle wezens doen nu voortdurend hun best om hun kennis te vergroten en weren de duistere krachten van hen af. En waar het hart van de mens zich eenmaal voor de waarheid ontsloten heeft, daar heeft de tegenstander het spel verloren, want zijn worstelen om zulke zielen mag dan steeds weer beginnen, de lichtwezens staan steeds klaar om hen tegen zulke invloeden te beschermen en hun kracht is werkelijk groter, omdat de ziel die naar de waarheid verlangt, de kracht van God door de lichtwezens gegeven kan worden.

Spiritual currents.... raging of the dark forces against light....

The forces of darkness constantly wage war against the world full of light, and the various spiritual currents have such an effect that people are often harshly oppressed as soon as they fall prey to such currents. Where truth threatens to assert itself, where people's way of life increases their power of realization and they are now willing to accept it, there the dark power rages unusually.... It utilizes every opportunity to bring down the souls that are slipping away from it and seeks to render the bearers of truth harmless, which the beings of light in turn prevent. Nevertheless, the beings of darkness are given a certain freedom to test their power on the will of man. But the human being also has power at his disposal as soon as he entrusts himself to the good forces and asks them for help. This spiritual battle is nevertheless of the greatest importance, as the more relentlessly the battle flares up, the more an unimaginable flow of power is channelled to earth by the beings of light. Such a struggle can result in great spiritual success insofar as this flow of strength is felt by many people who open their hearts willingly, who therefore surrender to the influence of the beings of light without resistance and now become seeing and knowing.... thus recognize the truth and joyfully accept it. And these souls escape the power of the one who is the prince of lies. They turn away from his work in disgust and consciously strive towards the one Who is the truth Himself. It has become light and bright within them, and the beings full of light are now constantly endeavouring to expand their knowledge and ward off the dark forces from them. And once the human being's heart has opened itself to the truth the adversary has lost his game, for no matter how many times he struggles for such souls, the beings of light are always ready to protect them from this influence, and their strength is truly greater because God's strength can be conveyed to the truth-desiring souls through the beings of light....
