Senza lotta nessun progresso spirituale

L’uomo dovrà sempre lottare finché dimora sulla Terra. Nessuna risalita verso l’Alto può aver luogo senza fatica, perché questa è la destinazione dello spirituale nell’ultima incorporazione come uomo che si deve affermare di fronte alle avversità, quindi raggiungere la sua meta lottando. Una vita senza lotta non porterà nessun progresso spirituale, perciò deve riconoscere in un’esistenza ricca di lotte ed avversità anche la possibilità dello sviluppo spirituale verso l’Alto, non deve fermarsi, ma affermarsi, quindi vincere ogni avversità, solo allora si può parlare di un cammino di vita terrena con successo. Il successo terreno è inutile, ma se l’anima conquista un successo attraverso queste miserie e lotte, allora ha conquistato molto per l’Eternità, allora ha superato la prova della vita terrena, che è l’unico scopo dell’esistenza terrena. Ma all’uomo sta sempre a disposizione la Grazia di Dio che lo aiuta a sostenere vittorioso ogni lotta. E di conseguenza la vita non deve necessariamente essere molto difficile, malgrado la lotta e l’avversità, quando l’uomo richiede la Grazia di Dio, perché allora gli giunge la Forza per superare tutte le avversità. Appena percorre con Dio la sua via terrena, nessuna lotta gli è troppo difficile; affronta tutti gli ostacoli e procede costantemente verso l’Alto nel suo sviluppo spirituale, perché Dio non carica sull’uomo nulla che per lui fosse insuperabile. Nella stessa misura gli fa giungere il Suo Aiuto, se l’uomo lo desidera; Egli porta il peso per lui, se Gielo chiede; E’ sempre pronto ad aiutare, se l’uomo Lo invoca. Perciò l’uomo deve stare nella fede, perché questa soltanto lo determina ad invocare Dio. Ma se la fede è debole, allora anche la preghiera non viene inviata a Lui pienamente fidente e Dio può provvedere all’uomo soltanto secondo la profondità della sua fede. Anche la fede senza dubbio dev’essere richiesta, se l’uomo non si sente abbastanza forte; deve iniziare una costante lotta per una forte fede e la preghiera per la Grazia di Dio deve sostenere questa lotta. E Dio non lascia chiamare invano un figlio terreno che chiede. Egli guida l’uomo in modo che la sua fede venga rinsaldata, benché questo non rimarrà senza lotta, perché la sua volontà dev’essere resa ferrea per prestare resistenza, perché solo allora può maturare animicamente, quando la volontà supera tutte le avversità che gli sono destinate.

No spiritual progress without struggle....

Man will always have to struggle as long as he remains on earth. No ascent upwards can take place effortlessly, for this is the destiny of the spiritual being in the last embodiment as a human being, that he has to assert himself in the face of opposition, thus reach his goal by fighting. A life without struggle will not result in spiritual progress, therefore the human being should also recognize the possibility of spiritual higher development in an existence rich in struggles and opposition, he should not weaken but assert himself, thus overcome all resistance, only then can one speak of a successful earthly life. Earthly success is worthless, but if the soul achieves success through these hardships and struggles then it has gained much for eternity, then it has passed the test of earthly life, which is the only purpose of earthly existence. But the human being always has God's grace at his disposal, which helps him to victoriously overcome every battle. And consequently, life need not be very difficult despite struggle and resistance if the human being requests God's grace, for then he will receive the strength to overcome all opposition. As soon as he walks his earthly path with God, no struggle is too difficult for him; he masters all obstacles and constantly ascends in his spiritual development. For God imposes nothing on man that is insurmountable for him. He gives him His help in equal measure if the human being desires it; He carries the burden for him if He is asked for it; He is always ready to help if the human being calls upon Him. Thus man must stand in faith, for faith alone determines him to call upon God.... But if faith is weak, then prayer will not be sent to Him with full confidence either, and God can only consider the person according to the depth of his faith. Even undoubted faith must be prayed for if the person does not feel strong enough; a constant struggle for strong faith must begin and prayer for God's grace must support this struggle.... And God will not let a pleading earthly child call in vain.... He guides the human being such that his faith will be strengthened, although he will not remain without struggle, for his will shall be strengthened to resist, because he can only mature spiritually when the will overcomes all resistance it is given....
