Il basso stato dell’anima - L’assenza di comprensione

Quando lo stato dell’anima è così basso che non riconosce più l’Amore di Dio, allora è data la dimostrazione che è stata provveduta in modo orrendamente scarso e non le è stato offerto nulla per la fortificazione di cui ha bisogno. L’uomo è di una incredibile assenza di comprensione verso tutto lo spirituale, rimane non impressionato, perché tutto il suo pensare è rivolto solo alla vita terrena. Ma l’anima non viene riconosciuta e quindi nemmeno provveduta. Tutto il sentire dell’uomo orbita intorno alle mete puramente terrene, l’anima è quindi costretta a servire il corpo, mentre tutto il suo pensare, sentire e volere dev’essere rivolto solo alla sua conservazione e lei stessa soffre indicibilmente, perché questo le serve poco. Le manca totalmente la pace interiore, la consapevolezza di essere di Origine divina, il desiderio per l’unificazione con Dio, che renderebbe l’anima così indicibilmente felice, è come una serva schiavizzata e deve sempre soltanto fare ciò che pretende il corpo, e la vera meta, l’unificazione con Dio, le si allontana sempre di più. Perché dato che il corpo si avvale sempre più di lei, essa diventa sempre più mondana e perde ogni collegamento con Dio e questo è il suo naufragio e la sua rovina.

Low state of mind.... lack of understanding....

If the state of the soul is so low that it no longer regocnizes God's love, then this is proof that it was given terribly little and was offered nothing to strengthen it, which it needed. The human being has an unbelievable lack of understanding for everything spiritual, he remains unimpressed because all his thinking only applies to earthly life. The soul, however, is not regocnized and therefore not considered. The human being's whole feeling revolves around purely earthly goals, thus the soul is forced to serve the body, in that all thinking, feeling and willing is only allowed to apply to its preservation and it suffers unspeakably because this is of little benefit to it. The inner peace, the awareness of being of divine origin.... the desire for union with God, which would make the soul so unspeakably happy, is completely lacking, it is like a enslaved servant and only ever has to do what the body demands, and the actual goal.... union with God moves ever further away. For since the body completely claims it for itself, it becomes more and more worldly and loses all connection with God and that is its downfall and its ruin....
