Una costante lotta - Gioioso servire - La vittoria

Rimane una costante lotta contro il potere che vuole causare la caduta da Dio, perché impiega tutti i mezzi per impossessarsi di nuovo della volontà degli uomini, e perciò dev’essere prestata una grande resistenza, per poterla affrontare con successo. Perciò l’anima dell’uomo è costantemente in pericolo, finché è instabile e con ciò concede al nemico un certo potere su di sé. Dimostra bensì la sua volontà per Dio attraverso l’azione, quando malgrado la ribellione interiore, si dedica al compito che le è posto e si dichiara anche apertamente per Dio, ma il gioioso servire può valere come vittoria solamente, quando l’avversario rinuncia al suo sforzo e l’uomo raggiunge ora la sua meta senza fatica. Il mondo dev’essere vinto totalmente, solo allora lo Spirito di Dio E’ così vicino, che all’uomo sembra afferrabile tutto ciò che prima gli sembrava incomprensibile, perché solo ora lo può istruire ed essere attivo nell’uomo con la spiegazione.

Constant struggle.... joyful service.... victory....

It remains a constant battle against the power which wants to bring about the apostasy from God, for it uses all means to seize people's will again and therefore great resistance has to be put up in order to successfully counter it. And therefore the human being's soul is constantly in danger as long as it is fickle and thereby grants the enemy a certain amount of power over itself. It certainly proves its will towards God through deeds if it dedicates itself to the task set to it despite inner reluctance and also openly professes its faith in God, yet joyful service can only be regarded as victory, only then will the adversary give up his endeavour and the human being will then effortlessly reach his goal. The world must be completely overcome, only then is God's spirit so close that everything appears comprehensible to the human being which previously seemed incomprehensible to him. For only now can he instruct him and be active in enlightening man....
