L'heure de la mort - Sans préparation - les tourments du décès

Dans le milieu de sa vie l'homme commence à réfléchir sur les questions qui concernent sa fin corporelle. Durant ce temps il est poursuivit par des pensées d'une fin soudaine, il cherche d’abord à les esquiver mais malgré cela il les écoutera toujours. Il a comme une poussée constante pour garder devant les yeux ces questions, c’est comme un avertissement ininterrompu de penser à sa fin et de prendre position. La Force spirituelle utilise chaque instant pour le rappeler à l'homme et c’est vraiment un avantage pour l'âme que de porter son attention à de telles pensées. Un instant d’inattention peut déjà préparer la fin de l'existence sur la Terre et personne n'a le pouvoir de prolonger de lui-même d'une heure la vie sur la Terre lorsqu’est venu le temps de son décès. Donc, chacun doit être préparé à tout instant d’abandonner la vie terrestre pour entrer dans le Royaume éternel. Il doit s'occuper consciemment et continuellement de sa vie après la mort, il doit prévoir sa vie terrestre de sorte qu’elle soit totalement en accord vers sa tâche terrestre et donc qu’elle soit seulement un temps de préparation pour la vraie Vie dans l'au-delà. Lorsqu’on effectue un constant contrôle de soi-même, lorsque la vie terrestre correspond aux Commandements divins, lorsque l'homme prend à cœur de servir le Créateur du Ciel et de la Terre, lorsqu’il cherche toujours la liaison avec Lui et donc se prépare consciemment et travaille sur son âme, alors la pensée de la mort ne l'effrayera pas, il la percevra plutôt agréablement et apprendra à considérer l'heure de la mort comme une libération des chaînes du corps. Les hommes qui, par contre, en refusent craintivement la pensée ou bien laissent passer totalement indifférents les Avertissements qui leurs sont adressés, auront parfois une vie terrestre facile, parce qu'ils ne se chargent avec rien de ce qui pourrait les ébranler de leur calme; ils continueront à vivre au jour le jour sans aucun sentiment de responsabilité. Ils ne s'imposeront jamais aucune restriction pour une éventuelle continuation de la vie, ils repousseront tout ce qui est tenu devant eux comme tâche de vie, mais avec l'approche de la mort ils tomberont dans une horrible inquiétude et maintenant il leur revient de goûter toutes les frayeurs de la mort si auparavant ils n'ont pas été rendus accessibles à d’autres pensées à travers un long temps de souffrance. Pour eux l'heure de la mort ne sera pas la bienvenue, ils sont encore attachés à la vie terrestre avec toutes les fibres de leur être et ils ne désirent pas l'échanger contre une autre, parce que pour celle-ci ils ne sont pas le moins du monde préparés. Mais l'heure de la séparation arrive pour tous et souvent d’une manière imprévue. Un homme mal préparé perçoit tous les tourments du décès, et sa fin n'est pas vraiment enviable. Et malgré cela chaque homme a lui-même dans la main de faire de cette heure une heure de libération s’il vit sa vie terrestre toujours de sorte qu’il n'ait pas à craindre avec une confiance enfantine que, quelque soit l’heure de sa vie où il retournera au Père dans le Ciel, de ne pas trouver Sa Miséricorde et Son Amour, parce que cette vie terrestre a été vécue en constante liaison avec Lui.

Hour of death.... without preparation.... agony of passing away....

In the middle of life, man begins to think about questions relating to his bodily end. During this time, he is haunted by thoughts of a sudden end.... he tries to avoid them at first, and yet he will always listen to them. It is like a constant urging to keep these questions in mind, it is like a continuous admonition to remember his end and to take a stand on it. Every moment the spiritual power uses to remind the human being of this, and it is truly only beneficial for the soul to pay attention to such thoughts. An unnoticed moment can already bring existence on earth to an end, and no-one has the power to prolong his own life on earth by one hour when the time of his passing has come. And therefore everyone should be prepared to give up earthly life at any time in order to enter the eternal kingdom. He should consciously concern himself with his continuation of life after death, he should adjust his earthly life such that it is completely in harmony with his earthly task and thus is only a time of preparation for the actual life in the beyond. If he constantly checks himself as to whether his earthly life corresponds to the divine commandments, if he makes it his business to serve the creator of heaven and earth.... if he always seeks contact with Him and thus consciously prepares himself and works on his soul, then the thought of death will not frighten him, he will find it rather pleasant and learn to regard the hour of death as the hour of liberation from the body shackles. People, on the other hand, who fearfully ward off every thought of it or who let the admonitions pass by completely indifferent, will indeed sometimes have an easy earthly life because they will not bother themselves with anything that could shake them out of their calm; they will live straight into the day without any sense of responsibility.... They will also never impose any restrictions on themselves for the sake of a possible continuation of life.... they will reject everything that is held up to them as a task in life.... yet with the approach of death they will fall into a dreadful restlessness and then get to taste all the horrors of it in full, if they have not previously been made accessible to other thoughts through a long time of suffering. The hour of death will not be welcome to them, they still cling to earthly life with all the fibres of their being and do not desire to exchange it for another because they are not prepared for it in the slightest. But the hour of separation comes for all, and often unforeseen. An unprepared person feels all the agonies of passing away, and his end is truly not enviable. And yet, every person has it in his own hands to make this hour an hour of salvation if he always lives his earthly life in such a way that he need not fear the responsibility.... that he can return his life to the father in heaven at any hour with the childlike trust of finding His mercy and His love, because this earthly life was lived in constant contact with Him....
