About speaking in tongues....

You should educate your fellow human beings in all truthfulness, and therefore you first have to receive the truth from Me. I have told you many times already that the truth will bring you enlightenment, that you will not stay in the dark, that you will be able to understand everything. And thus you are given an explanation about the various 'gifts of the spirit', which you can even notice yourselves in those who possess them. You will have to admit that unusual abilities exist when a person has the gift of healing the sick.... you will not be able to deny the gift of prophesy either.... just as remarkable knowledge will be obvious to you too.... They are all things which are unusual in people, powers are manifesting themselves in a person which are undeniably divine activities for the benefit of the souls. But you ask Me in particular about the 'gift of speaking in tongues'.... You have already received the simple explanation from Me that this gift is a special sign of a most heartfelt bond with Me, explained such that I speak through a person who talks to people of different nations and they hear him in their native tongue, so that everyone believes that he speaks to them in their own language. This gift is a most obvious sign of My working.... just like the 'outpouring of My spirit' upon My disciples.... when all people present heard them speak in their mother tongue.... Thus they were speaking in 'foreign tongues'.... and not that a person speaks an incomprehensible language and then believes to be permeated by 'My spirit'.... This is a complete misinterpretation of the Scriptures which certainly speak of the blessed feeling of an inner bond with Me which motivates a person to praise My Being, but it takes place in quiet prayer uttered by the tongue.... and not by the mouth.

I ask you in all seriousness: what point would there be in a prayer articulated with the mouth in an incomprehensible language, if it needs interpreting?.... Am I Myself not able to speak to you in a clearly intelligible way? I want to give you light.... why should I use an interpreter who first has to be enlightened by My Spirit in order to be able to give you light. I Am an unambiguous and true God, and I really have no reason to offer you a muddle of words which needs to be translated by another person. Especially this portrayal of speaking in tongues encouraged people to seek this gift desperately, and thus sects arose whose members assemble as the Pentecostal community in order to acquire this gift due to wrong understanding.... Whenever I speak to people I will always give them light, but I do not speak to those who express themselves confusingly and need an interpreter, who is equally incapable of spreading light. I ask you, why should I speak to you in a language you don't understand? You misunderstand the words in the Scriptures, as far as they can be regarded as My Word.... for even the 'letter' added to My Gospel contains errors. Words have been added which were (are) not 'My Word' and even those are misinterpreted by you, and thus you cannot escape from error. But precisely these words form the basic teachings of those supposedly permeated by the 'spirit of Pentecost'.... And they confuse people because they do not rely on the pure truth which I Myself convey to earth, in fact, they are hostile to it.... They do not accept this pure teaching and this, in itself, should already be evidence for you that they have founded themselves on wrong principles. Anyone who is so convinced of their permeation by My spirit that he speaks in 'foreign tongues' also has to be able to translate it himself in spirit and in truth, since it is not My will to confuse people's spirit but to enlighten it. And this translation has to agree with the spiritual knowledge which I convey to earth from above, or you can reject it as error. I will give light to all of you, and you should not resist this light, for the gift of grace offered to you from above is immeasurable, and yet the error is equally enormous so that I have to be active Myself in order to help you become enlightened again.... And blessed is he who accepts the light that shines for him....

방언에 관해.

너희는 모든 진리 안에서 너희 이웃을 가르쳐야 한다. 그러므로 너희는 먼저 나로부터 진리를 받아야만 한다. 나는 항상 또 다시 너희가 진리와 함께 밝은 빛을 받음을 너희에게 말한다. 너희 안에 어떤 것도 어둡게 남지 않을 것이다. 너희에게 여러 가지 "영의 은사"에 관한 설명이 주어지면, 너희는 모든 것을 설명할 수 있다. 너희는 이 은사를 가진 사람들에게서 스스로 확인할 수 있다.

만약에 한 사람이 병을 고치는 은사를 받으면, 너희는 특별한 능력을 인정해야만 한다. 너희는 예언하는 은사를 부인할 수 없을 것이다. 너희가 특별한 지식을 분명하게 알 수 있게 되는 것처럼 사람이 일반적으로는 가질 수 없는 모든 일들이 있다. 혼을 구원하기 위한 하나님의 역사로 부인할 수 없는 한 사람에게 나타나는 능력들이 있다.

너희는 특별히 나에게 방언의 은사에 관해 질문한다. 이미 너희에게 간략한 설명을 해주었다. 이 은사는 너희가 나와 아주 깊은 관계에 있다는 특별한 증거를 해주는 은사이고 이를 다음과 같이 설명했다. 내가 한 사람을 통해 여러 나라 사람들을 상대로 이야기할 때 그들이 자신의 모국어로 들을 수 있는 것이다. 모든 사람이 다 자신의 모국어로 이야기한다고 믿는다. 이 은사는 오순절에 내 제자들을 통해 일어났던 것처럼 아주 분명하게 내가 역사한다는 증거이다.

참여했던 모든 사람이 자신의 모국어로 이해했다. 그들은 다른 언어로 말한 것이고 한 사람이 이해할 수 없는 언어로 말한 것이 아닌데 이제 내 영으로 충만해서 그런 것으로 믿는다. 그는 말씀을 전적으로 오해한 것이다. 내적으로 나와의 연결이 주는 행복한 감정이 원인이 되어 사람들이 입으로 드리는 것이 아니고 혀로만 드리는 기도 가운데 내 존재에 대한 찬양을 드린 것이다. 이는 모든 조용함 가운데 일어났다.

나는 너희에게 진지하게 질문을 한다. 이해할 수 없는 언어로 말하는 이런 기도가 게다가 해석하는 사람이 필요한 이런 기도가 어떤 의미가 있느냐? 나 자신이 스스로 너희가 나를 선명하게 이해할 수 있게 너희 사람들에게 말할 수 없느냐? 나는 너희에게 빛을 주기 원한다. 왜 내가 통역하는 사람을 그도 너희에게 빛을 주기 위해 먼저 내 영으로 깨우침을 받아야만 하는 그를 활용해야 하는가? 나는 선명하고 진리의 하나님이다.

나는 너희에게 먼저 혼란스러운 말을 주고 다른 사람이 너희에게 통역해야만 하는 이와 같이 해야 할 어떤 이유도 알 수 없다. 이런 방언에 대한 묘사로 인해 사람들은 간절히 이 은사를 받으려고 하게 되었다. 이로써 이단이 생겨나게 되었고 이들은 이 은사에 대한 잘못 된 깨달음에 도달하기 위해 오순절 교회로 모이게 되었다.

내가 사람들에게 나를 표현할 때 나는 그들에게 항상 빛을 준다. 그러나 전혀 나는 빛을 전파할 수 없는 혼란스럽게 표현하는 사람과 통변하는 사람을 필요로 하지 않는다. 내가 너희에게 질문한다. 무엇이 나로 하여금 너희가 이해할 수 없는 말로 너희와 대화를 시도하게 하는가? 너희는 내 말씀으로 인정을 받을 수 있는 한도 내에 있는 성경의 말씀을 잘못 이해하고 있다.

왜냐면 나음 복음서에 추가 된 서신서 안에 오류가 들어갔기 때문이다. 내 말이 아닌 단어들이 첨가되었다. 뿐만 아니라 이 부분을 너희는 잘못 해석해 너희는 오류로부터 더 이상 헤어나오지 못한다. 그러나 이 말씀이 자칭 "오순절의 영"을 자신 안에 가진 사람들의 근본 가르침이 되었다. 그들은 사람들을 혼란에 빠지게 한다.

왜냐면 그들은 나 자신이 이 땅에 내려준 순수한 진리에 기초하지 않고 주로 순수한 진리를 적대하기 때문이다. 그들은 이런 순수한 가르침을 인정하지 않는다. 인정하지 않는 일이 이미 그들이 잘못 된 원칙 위에 세웠음을 너희에게 증명하는 일이 돼야만 한다.

누구든지 내 영으로 충만하다고 믿는 사람은 그래서 "다른 언어"로 말할 수 있으면, 그는 스스로 통역할 수 있어야 한다. 사람들에게 영 안에 혼란을 주는 것이 내 뜻이 아니고 그들의 영을 밝게 해주는 일이 영 안에서 진리 안에서 내 뜻이기 때문이다. 이 해석은 내가 위로부터 이 땅에 내려준 것과 일치해야 한다.

그렇지 않으면 너희는 이를 오류로 버릴 수 있다. 너희 모두에게 나는 빛을 준다. 너희는 이 빛에 너희 자신을 닫아서는 안 된다. 왜냐면 위로부터 너희에게 제공되는 은혜의 선물은 측량할 수 없기 때문이다. 오류도 마찬가지로 큰 범위여서 다시 빛으로 인도하기 위해 내가 스스로 일해야만 한다. 자신에게 비추는 빛을 영접하는 사람은 축복을 받을 것이다.
