The church of Christ in its beginnings....

My disciples received the Gospel of love from Me directly when I lived on earth, and thus they were able to carry it into the world in its pure and unadulterated form after I accomplished My act of Salvation and ascended to My kingdom of light again. And they, on their part, also kept My teaching pure and people came to know Me as their Redeemer from sin and death.... They were instructed by My disciples that they would have to take the path to the cross and live a life of love in order to be able to fulfil the purpose of their earthly life and to enter My kingdom after their death. My disciples were guided into truth by Me and also passed on the same truth because My spirit was able to work in them.... In the beginning, therefore, people accepted My pure Gospel and also made an effort to live a life of love, and thus they, too, became spiritually alive and I was able to work in them Myself. And so My teaching remained pure for a certain period of time, My disciples passed on their teaching ministry because they recognised the spiritual state of those they appointed as their successors....

Yet it did not take long before people assumed such a teaching ministry by themselves, partly due to selfish reasons, partly due to overzealousness of complying with My will but without waiting for the inner calling.... And so it came to pass that this teaching ministry was eventually conferred indiscriminately.... that the inner ability, the human being’s spiritual state, was no longer pertinent but that external circumstances played a part and thus increasingly endangered the pure truth as well which, however, was not noticed precisely because of the teachers’ unenlightened spirit.... The people, however, to whom the Gospel was preached were denied the right to form their own opinion and to voice doubts about the absolute truth of what they were taught.... Those who deemed themselves spiritual leaders were convinced of their mission and authority and allowed no contradiction whatsoever. And those who were being taught were obliged to accept without scrutiny that everything they were offered was true. It was only possible for the truth to remain pure as long as its guardians were spiritually enlightened themselves. Yet the number of those who were placed into positions of authority without being enlightened by My spirit soon predominated and all objections by a spiritually awakened person were dismissed.... The former grew more powerful and the pure truth became interspersed with error.... with ideas which had originated in people’s intellect and were endorsed by them as divine truth. And although spiritually enlightened people time and again tried to eliminate this error.... My adversary succeeded to assert himself, for his followers’ power was already too great and the pure truth was no longer recognised as such.

This explains to you that in the course of time something entirely different established itself as the ‘church of Christ’ than what was founded by Me on earth.... Only this explains how an organisation came into power, why time and again divisions occurred within this organisation and why I only ever want the ‘church founded by Me’ to be regarded as a spiritual edifice that includes those people who live in truth due to of a life of love, which results in a living faith and the awakening of the spirit. And this church has indeed kept itself alive to this day, for time and again My spirit could pour itself out over people who made an effort to live a life of love and to fulfil My will.... And so the pure truth which exposes all misguided teachings could always be imparted to them again, and every genuinely truth-seeking person will receive an explanation how humankind was able to fall into such confused thinking and is unwilling to free itself from it. Yet it will also be understandable to everyone that the masses will never be open to the truth but willingly accept error, and thus every individual person should try to free himself from wrong spiritual knowledge as soon as My grace offers him the pure truth, for just his sincere desire will enable him to differentiate between truth and error, and then he will also belong to the church which I founded on earth Myself....

La Chiesa di Cristo nel suo inizio

I Miei discepoli hanno ricevuto da Me Stesso il Vangelo dell’amore quando camminavo sulla Terra, e lo potevano quindi portare nel mondo puro e non falsificato, quando era compiuta la Mia Opera di Redenzione ed Ero di nuovo asceso nel Mio Regno della Luce. E da parte di loro la Mia Dottrina è anche stata conservata pura, e gli uomini prendevano conoscenza di Me come il loro Redentore dal peccato e dalla morte. Venivano istruiti dai Miei discepoli, che dovevano prendere la via verso la Croce e condurre una vita nell’amore, per adempiere lo scopo della loro vita terrena e potessero entrare nel Mio Regno dopo la loro morte. I Miei discepoli venivano guidati da Me nella Verità e loro portavano anche oltre la stessa Verità, perché il Mio Spirito poteva agire in loro. Inizialmente anche gli uomini accettavano il Mio puro Vangelo e si sforzavano a condurre pure una vita d’amore, e così anche loro risvegliavano alla Vita questo spirito in sé, ed Io Stesso potevo agire in loro. E così la Mia Dottrina è stata anche conservata pura per un certo tempo, i Miei discepoli davano ad altri la funzione dell’insegnamento, perché riconoscevano lo stato spirituale di coloro che stabilivano come i loro successori. Ma non passava molto tempo, finché gli uomini non si assegnavano da sé stessi una tale funzione d’insegnamento, in parte per un certo amor proprio, in parte per un ultrafervore di adempiere la Mia Volontà, senza però aspettare per questo la chiamata interiore. E così è successo che quella funzione d’insegnamento veniva poi assegnata sconsideratamente, che non era più determinante il talento interiore, lo stato spirituale di una persona, ma contavano delle condizioni esteriori, ed ora anche la pura Verità era sempre più a rischio, cosa che però non veniva riconosciuto appunto per via dello spirito non risvegliato da parte di quelle forze d’insegnamento. Agli uomini però, ai quali veniva annunciato il Vangelo, veniva negato il diritto di formarsi un proprio giudizio per far valere dei dubbi sull’assoluta Verità di ciò che veniva insegnato. Coloro che si consideravano come insegnanti spirituali, erano convinti della loro missione e del loro valore, e non accettavano nessuna obiezione. Ed a coloro che venivano istruiti, veniva imposto il dovere di accettare tutto come Verità senza poter esaminare ciò che veniva loro offerto. La Verità poteva essere conservata pura solamente, fino a quando i loro custodi stessi erano di spirito risvegliato. Ma presto era maggiore il numero di coloro che venivano inseriti nella funzione e dignità, senza essere illuminati dal Mio Spirito, ed ogni obiezione di un uomo risvegliato spiritualmente veniva rigettata. Il potere di costoro aumentò, e la pura Verità venne mescolata con l’errore, con un patrimonio mentale, che era proceduto dall’intelletto di uomini e che veniva da loro rappresentata come Verità divina. Ed anche se degli uomini risvegliati spiritualmente cercavano sempre di nuovo ad eliminare quegli errori, al Mio avversario è riuscito di affermarsi, perché il potere dei suoi seguaci era già troppo grande, e la pura Verità non è stata più riconosciuta come tale. Così quindi potete spiegarvi, che nel corso del tempo si era formata qualcosa del tutto diverso come “Chiesa di Cristo”, di come era stata fondata da Me sulla Terra. Solo così si può spiegare che un’organizzazione è giunto al potere, che si verificavano sempre e sempre di nuovo delle scissione all’interno di quest’organizzazione e che voglio sempre aver considerata la “Chiesa da Me fondata” sempre soltanto come un edificio spirituale, che abbraccia gli uomini che si muovono nella Verità come conseguenza di una vita d’amore, che produce una viva fede ed il risveglio dello spirito. E questa Chiesa si è anche conservata fino ad ora, perché il Mio Spirito Si poteva sempre di nuovo effondere sugli uomini che si sforzano di vivere nell’amore e di adempiere la Mia Volontà. E così a costoro poteva sempre di nuovo essere trasmessa la pura Verità, che scopre tutti gli insegnamenti d’errore e ad ogni uomo che desidera seriamente la Verità verrà dato il chiarimento, del perché l’umanità ha potuto capitare in un pensare confuso e non è nemmeno disposta a liberarsene. Ma sarà anche comprensibile ad ognuno, che la massa non è mai accessibile per la Verità, ma ammette volontariamente l’errore, ed ogni singolo deve cercare di liberarsi dal falso patrimonio spirituale, appena ha la Grazia, che da Parte Mia gli viene offerta la pura Verità, perché se soltanto la desidera seriamente, sarà anche in grado di separare la Verità dall’errore ed allora apparterrà anche alla Chiesa che Io Stesso ho fondato sulla Terra.
