The significance of Holy Communion....

How often has the significance of Holy Communion been explained to you already, how often has the offering of My flesh and My blood been described to you as the offering of My Word.... How often have I told you that I Myself Am the Word of eternity, that I offer Myself to you, that you eat My flesh and drink My blood when you accept My Word in your heart.... Your soul needs nourishment which will help to heal and strengthen it, since prior to that it is sick and weak.... It must be fed with the bread of heaven and be given the water of life. It needs healthy nourishment which only I Myself can administer, for it must be spiritually fed, it must accept food from the spiritual kingdom. And this is why you must partake of the Supper at My table with your host, Who invites all of you to come to Him and let yourselves be fed by Him. Your soul shall receive bread and wine, My flesh and My blood is the proper nourishment, and thus it accepts Me Myself when it accepts My Word which I Myself convey to the soul from above. For regardless of whether I speak to it directly or whether it accepts My Word through My servants.... I always break the bread Myself, I always give the water of life Myself, and then it will always partake of My Supper at My table, which is richly laden so that no soul wanting to be My guest will lack nourishment. Yet by this I do not mean an outward practice, I Am not satisfied with the fact that you perform external rituals and acts in the belief that I Myself will then be within you, that you unite yourselves with Me when you take part in the ceremonies which you understand as the Lord's Supper, as Holy Communion.... They will only ever remain mere external acts and rituals if you do not wholeheartedly desire to hear My Word, to be addressed by Me.... if your soul does not hunger and thirst for the bread of heaven and the water of life: for My Word....

For I Myself Am My Word, and only when you are seized by great longing for My Word can you say that you intimately unite yourselves with Me and take Supper with Me, for only then will I be able to offer you bread and wine.... My flesh and My blood.... Only then will you have come to My table in order to take Supper with Me, then you will receive Me Myself, as I have promised.... I Am the Word.... And the Word has become flesh.... And thus you should understand My Words correctly which I spoke on earth 'Whoso eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, hath eternal life....' Only the person who hears My Word and allows the strength of My Word to affect him can attain eternal life, for his soul will heal, it will mature fully, through My Word it will know My will, and My Word will provide it with the strength to live in accordance with My will.... hence it will not just hear My Word but also live it and gain the true life, which it will never be able to lose again.... And because I know how urgently you humans need nourishment for your soul I send My messengers into the world and invite everyone to come as guests to My table and take Communion with Me.... And no-one will need to leave My table hungry, for it is richly laden for all those who come to Me with the desire to receive food and drink from Me.... I have wholesome food and a health-giving drink waiting for all of you, but you must come to Me yourselves, hunger and thirst must drive you to Me, then your soul will receive refreshment; time and again it will fortify itself anew for its pilgrimage on this earth, it will not exhaustedly fall by the wayside, for time and again it will be offered nourishment as soon as it desires it, as soon as it closely unites with Me and requests to be fed by Me.... I Myself will come to you, I will knock at the door of your heart and with anyone who willingly lets Me in I will indeed take Holy Communion and he with Me.... However, do not believe that you can find Me where only outward formalities are being observed.... where you close your ears to My Word which comes to you from above, for anyone who does not listen to My Word does not listen to Me Myself either; anyone who rejects My Word rejects Me Myself and his soul will remain without nourishment. It will have to starve and enter the spiritual kingdom in an immature and poor state when the hour of death arrives....

De betekenis van het avondmaal

Hoe vaak is u reeds de betekenis van het avondmaal uitgelegd. Hoe vaak is het aanbieden van Mijn vlees en Mijn bloed u al begrijpelijk gemaakt door Mijn Woord. Hoe vaak heb IK u gezegd dat IKZelf het Woord ben van eeuwigheid. Dat IK u MIJ Zelf aanreik, dat u Mijn vlees eet en Mijn bloed drinkt als u Mijn Woord in uw hart opneemt.

Uw ziel moet het soort voedsel ontvangen dat haar helpt gezond te worden, omdat zij eerst ziek is, en dat haar kracht geeft omdat zij verzwakt is. Zij moet gespijzigd en gelaafd worden met het brood des hemels en het water des levens. Zij heeft een gezonde voeding nodig, en dit voedsel kan alleen IKZelf haar toedienen, want ze moet geestelijk gevoed worden. Zij moet uit het geestelijke rijk voedsel in ontvangst nemen, en daarom moet u het avondmaal houden aan Mijn tafel, met MIJ als de Gastheer - DIE u uitnodigt om tot MIJ te komen en u door MIJ te laten spijzigen.

Brood en wijn moet uw ziel ontvangen, Mijn vlees en Mijn bloed is de ware voeding, en zodoende neemt ze MIJ op als zij Mijn Woord aanneemt dat IK de ziel Zelf vanuit den hogen toezend. En het blijft hetzelfde of IK Zelf haar rechtstreeks aanspreek of dat zij door Mijn dienaren Mijn Woord in ontvangst nemen. Altijd breek IKZelf het brood, altijd reik IKZelf haar het water des levens aan en altijd zal zij dan het avondmaal tot zich nemen aan Mijn tafel die rijkelijk gedekt is - zodat het geen ziel die Mijn gast wil zijn aan voedsel zal ontbreken.

Maar IK versta daar geen uiterlijke gebeurtenis onder, IK neem er geen genoegen mee dat u uiterlijke gebruiken en handelingen verricht en dan gelooft dat IKZelf nu in u ben. Dat u zich met MIJ verbonden waant als u de ceremonien ondergaat, die u onder de woorden "avondmaal" of "communie" verstaat. Dit zullen altijd alleen maar uiterlijke handelingen en gebruiken blijven, als u er niet van ganser harte naar verlangt Mijn Woord te horen en door MIJ aangesproken te worden. Als uw ziel niet hongert en dorst naar het brood des hemels, naar het water des levens; naar Mijn Woord!

Want "Mijn Woord" ben IKZelf, En er moet zich een groot verlangen naar Mijn Woord van u meester maken en dan pas zult u kunnen zeggen, dat u zich innig met MIJ verbindt en met MIJ het avondmaal houdt. Dan pas kan IK u brood en wijn aanbieden - Mijn vlees en Mijn bloed. Dan pas bent u naar Mijn tafel gekomen om met MIJ het avondmaal te nuttigen - dan ontvangt u MIJZelf zoals IK het u beloofd heb.

"IK ben het brood" - "En het Woord is vlees geworden" - verstaat u nu Mijn Woorden juist die IK op aarde sprak? "Wie Mijn vlees eet en Mijn bloed drinkt die heeft het eeuwige leven!". Wie Mijn Woord hoort en de kracht van Mijn Woord op zich laat inwerken, die alleen kan het eeuwige leven bereiken, want zijn ziel zal genezen en zal tot volle ontwikkeling komen. Zij zal door Mijn Woord ook Mijn Wil kennen en Mijn Woord zal haar de kracht geven om naar Mijn Wil te leven. Zij zal dus niet alleen naar Mijn Woord luisteren maar Het ook toepassen, en waarlijk het leven verkrijgen dat zij voor eeuwig niet meer verliezen kan.

En omdat IK weet hoezeer de mensen dat voedsel voor hun ziel nodig hebben, zend IK Mijn boden uit en roep alle op om als gasten aan Mijn tafel te komen en met MIJ het avondmaal te gebruiken. En niemand hoeft onverzadigd van Mijn tafel heen te gaan, want die is rijk gedekt voor allen die tot MIJ komen, en zich door MIJ willen laten spijzigen en te drinken geven.

IK heb waarlijk krachtige spijs en een heilzame drank voor u allen bereid. Maar u moet zelf tot MIJ komen, honger en dorst moeten u naar MIJ drijven. Dan zal uw ziel ook gelaafd worden, zij zal zich steeds weer opnieuw sterken voor haar pelgrimstocht op deze aarde. Ze zal niet meer krachteloos neerzinken langs de weg, want steeds weer zal haar het juiste voedsel worden aangeboden - zodra zij er naar verlangt, zodra zij zich heel innig met MIJ verbindt en wenst door MIJ gespijzigd te worden.

IKZelf zal tot u komen en IK zal aankloppen aan de deur van uw hart en wie MIJ bereidwillig binnen laat, met die zal IK ook altijd het avondmaal vieren en hij met MIJ. Maar geloof echter niet dat IK daar ben waar alleen aan de uiterlijke vorm voldaan wordt, waar u echter uw oor voor Mijn Woord dat uit den hogen tot u komt, sluit. Want wie Mijn Woord niet aanhoort die aanhoort ook MIJZelf niet. Wie Mijn Woord afwijst die wijst MIJZelf af, en zijn ziel zal zonder voeding blijven. Zij moet dan gebrek lijden en gaat zo verkommerd en armzalig het geestelijke rijk in - als het uur van haar dood gekomen is.
