Living faith....

It is the living faith which gives you strength.... and it is love which makes faith come alive.... Therefore no-one can call himself a believer who lacks love, for he will never possess such strength of faith that what seems impossible will nevertheless be possible for him. A living faith can move mountains.... i.e. as much as that a person with living faith is so deeply in love that he is closely united with God and thus can also accomplish everything he wants together with God.... For through love, which is God's fundamental nature, God Himself is in him, and then the human being will also have the same will as God, thus he will not want anything which goes against God's will. A person who has become a lover is already so intimately united with God that he no longer does anything of his own accord but everything out of God, for God's will is in him because the union with God has already taken place through love, and consequently the strength of faith must also be so strong that the human being doubts nothing, that he is able to accomplish everything because he does it with strength from God.... with God Himself. But where can such strong faith be found?.... Where is love so deep that man's faith has come alive through it? Where does a person feel so intimately connected with God that he no longer doubts the success of what he wants to accomplish? People's love is not very deep, it is only superficial feelings which you humans take for love, but it is not unselfish love which wants to give everything to the neighbour which makes him happy. Selfish love is still predominant and therefore the strength of faith is still weak, and until this selfish love has changed so that the human being puts all his own wishes aside for the sake of his neighbour, who needs his help and love, faith will not yet be so alive that it will be able to cope with everything. For love itself is strength from God which accomplishes everything, for God, Who is love, is in every work of love.... And with God no thing is impossible.... This faith has to come alive in a person's heart, then he will no longer doubt for a moment that God Himself will support him with His strength if the person wants to do something out of love for which he alone lacks the strength.... But he can draw strength from God at any time, for it flows to him with every work of love.... For love, strength and God are one, and it is truly possible for him to accomplish everything who intimately unites with God through love and makes use of His strength of love. His faith will be alive because this is the effect of a right life of love, that faith is awakened to life. And the human being who only allows love to become a bright flame within himself will no longer doubt, for he will constantly receive the influx from God, and he will be able to create and work with His strength.... He will already be able to accomplish things on earth which are impossible for a person without love. For love is the strength which conquers everything and achieves everything....

Lebendiger Glaube....

Der lebendige Glaube ist es, der euch Kraft gibt.... und die Liebe ist es, die den Glauben lebendig werden lässet.... Darum kann keiner sich gläubig nennen, dem die Liebe fehlt, denn dieser wird auch niemals eine solche Glaubenskraft besitzen, daß ihm Unmöglich-Scheinendes doch möglich ist. Ein lebendiger Glaube kann Berge versetzen.... d.h. soviel, als daß ein Mensch mit lebendigem Glauben so tief in der Liebe steht, daß er eng mit Gott verbunden ist und also auch mit Gott zusammen alles ausführen kann, was er will.... Denn durch die Liebe, die das Urwesen Gottes ist, ist Gott Selbst in ihm, und es wird der Mensch dann auch den gleichen Willen haben wie Gott, also nichts wollen, was wider den Willen Gottes gerichtet wäre. Ein zur Liebe gewordener Mensch steht schon in so innigem Verband mit Gott, daß er nichts mehr tut aus sich heraus, sondern alles aus Gott, denn Gottes Wille ist in ihm, weil durch die Liebe der Zusammenschluß mit Gott schon stattgefunden hat, und sonach muß auch die Glaubenskraft so stark sein, daß der Mensch nichts anzweifelt, daß er alles zu leisten imstande ist, weil er es leistet mit der Kraft aus Gott.... mit Gott Selbst. Wo aber ist ein so starker Glaube zu finden?.... Wo ist die Liebe so tief, daß des Menschen Glaube dadurch lebendig geworden ist? Wo fühlt sich ein Mensch so innig mit Gott verbunden, daß er kein Gelingen dessen mehr anzweifelt, was er vollbringen möchte? Die Liebe ist nicht sehr tief bei den Menschen, es sind nur oberflächliche Gefühle, die von euch Menschen für Liebe gehalten werden, aber es ist nicht die uneigennützige Liebe, die dem Nächsten alles zuwenden möchte, was ihn beglückt. Immer ist die Ichliebe noch vorherrschend und dadurch auch die Kraft des Glaubens noch schwach, und bevor nicht diese Ichliebe sich gewandelt hat, daß der Mensch alle eigenen Wünsche zurückstellt um des Nächsten willen, der seine Hilfe und Liebe braucht, wird auch der Glaube noch nicht so lebendig sein, daß ihm alles zu bewältigen möglich ist. Denn die Liebe selbst ist Kraft aus Gott, die alles vollbringt, denn in jedem Liebewerk ist Gott, Der die Liebe ist.... Und bei Gott ist kein Ding unmöglich.... Dieser Glaube muß so lebendig werden im Herzen eines Menschen, dann wird er auch keinen Augenblick mehr zweifeln, daß Gott Selbst ihn mit Seiner Kraft unterstützt, wenn der Mensch aus Liebe etwas tun will, wozu ihm allein die Kraft mangelt.... Die Kraft aus Gott aber kann er jederzeit beziehen, denn mit jedem Werk der Liebe strömt sie ihm zu.... Denn Liebe, Kraft und Gott sind eins, und es ist wahrlich dem alles zu leisten möglich, der sich durch die Liebe innig mit Gott verbindet und Seine Liebekraft in Anspruch nimmt. Es wird dessen Glaube lebendig sein, weil das die Auswirkung eines rechten Liebelebens ist, daß der Glaube zum Leben erweckt wird. Und es wird der Mensch nicht mehr zweifeln, der nur in sich die Liebe zur hellen Flamme werden läßt, denn er empfängt dauernd den Zustrom aus Gott, und er wird schaffen und wirken können mit Seiner Kraft.... er wird schon auf Erden Dinge verrichten können, die für einen Menschen ohne Liebe unmöglich sind. Denn die Liebe ist die Kraft, die alles bezwingt und alles erreicht....
