Right thinking is working of the spirit.... love....

The power of the spirit will always break through if only no obstacle is placed in its way through open unkindness. For the spirit can only work where there is love.... but there it also expresses itself, albeit in different ways.... It need not express itself obviously so that unusual abilities become apparent.... The human being's thinking can also be guided in such a way that the working of the spirit becomes apparent, that the human being is enlightened and will always speak and think in accordance with the truth, because the spirit in him orders his thinking, thus it 'introduces him to the truth', as it were. For the understanding of truth must also be made accessible to the human being, only then can the truth make him happy.... And this is the working of the spirit in the human being, that it opens up the right understanding for him. Therefore, as soon as the human being endeavours to live in love he can also expect with certainty that God will grant him right thinking, that He will give him understanding for spiritual teachings, that He will help him to recognize the truth as such and to dismiss error. But this will to love must also be present, because without love the spirit cannot express itself out of God. And thus you can also safely condemn or reject a teaching which unkind people want to present to you as truth, for no truth can come from an unkind mouth, for this is the right of the divine spirit which, however, never uses an unkind person to express itself. On the other hand, a loving person cannot and will not be able to speak anything but the truth, because he is prompted to do so by the spirit within himself, which now guides his speech and thinking and certainly always in accordance with the truth. It must always be kept in mind that the human being is first required to change into love, that the change of nature from selfish love to unselfish neighbourly love is the purpose and aim of a human being on earth.... Where this change has already begun, where love has been able to break through, the effects must also already be recognizable, the consequences which arise from a loving way of life.... But where love is, there is also God Himself.... where God Himself is, there must be truth.... Thus the thinking of a loving person must also correspond to the truth, because God's presence expresses itself through the spirit in the human being, which gives the human being the truth from within, for it is not the spiritual knowledge which is brought to the human being from outside which conveys the truth to him, but only the thinking of the human being himself, how he attunes himself to this spiritual knowledge. And this is brought about by the spirit which was awakened through a life of love and is now constantly active.... For this reason the divine commandments of love are repeatedly emphasized as the only priority for the salvation of the human being's soul, for they absolutely have to be fulfilled if the human being wants to live in truth, if he wants to enjoy correctly guided thinking, if he wants to be taught from within and attain full understanding for everything spiritual which remains incomprehensible to him as long as his spirit is still unawakened. But his life will only begin to give him full satisfaction when he can live it fully consciously with an awakened spirit, because before that a spiritual blindness closes everything off to him as long as he does not pay attention to the divine commandments of love.... as long as he does not move within the law of divine order himself. Only love establishes this order, only love clarifies his thinking, only love makes the human being see, and only through love does he learn to recognize, to differentiate and to think and judge rightly.... But then there is also light in him in all his ways.... Then the spirit from God, whom love has awakened to life, will guide him....

Rechtes Denken ist Wirken des Geistes.... Liebe....

Die Kraft des Geistes wird immer durchbrechen, wenn ihr nur kein Hindernis entgegengesetzt wird durch offene Lieblosigkeit. Denn der Geist kann nur wirken, wo Liebe ist.... dort aber äußert er sich auch, wenn auch in verschiedener Weise.... Er braucht nicht offensichtlich zum Ausdruck zu kommen, so daß ungewöhnliche Fähigkeiten offenbar werden.... Es kann auch das Denken des Menschen so gelenkt sein, daß das Wirken des Geistes zutage tritt, daß der Mensch erleuchtet ist und immer der Wahrheit gemäß reden und denken wird, weil der Geist in ihm sein Denken ordnet, er ihn also gleichsam "einführt in die Wahrheit". Denn auch das Verständnis für die Wahrheit muß dem Menschen erschlossen werden, dann erst kann ihn die Wahrheit beglücken.... Und das ist das Wirken des Geistes im Menschen, daß dieser ihm das rechte Verständnis erschließt. Sowie also der Mensch sich bemüht, in der Liebe zu leben, kann er auch mit Gewißheit erwarten, daß Gott ihm rechtes Denken schenkt, daß Er ihm Verständnis gibt für geistige Lehren, daß Er ihm hilft, die Wahrheit zu erkennen als solche und den Irrtum abzutun. Aber es muß auch dieser Liebewille vorhanden sein, weil ohne Liebe sich der Geist aus Gott nicht äußern kann. Und somit könnt ihr auch mit Sicherheit eine Lehre verurteilen oder ablehnen, die euch lieblose Menschen als Wahrheit hinstellen wollen, denn aus einem lieblosen Munde kann keine Wahrheit kommen, denn diese ist Anrecht des göttlichen Geistes, der sich aber niemals eines lieblosen Menschen bedient, um sich zu entäußern. Dagegen kann und wird ein liebetätiger Mensch wieder nichts anderes als die Wahrheit aussprechen können, weil ihn der Geist in sich dazu veranlaßt, der nun sein Reden und Denken lenkt und sicher immer der Wahrheit gemäß. Es muß immer bedacht werden, daß von dem Menschen als erstes der Wandel zur Liebe gefordert wird, daß also die Wesenswandlung von der Ichliebe zur uneigennützigen Nächstenliebe Zweck und Ziel eines Menschen auf Erden ist.... Wo nun diese Wandlung schon eingesetzt hat, wo die Liebe zum Durchbruch kommen konnte, dort muß auch schon die Auswirkung zu erkennen sein, die Folgen, die aus einem liebetätigen Lebenswandel erwachsen.... Wo aber die Liebe ist, da ist auch Gott Selbst.... wo Gott Selbst ist, muß die Wahrheit sein.... Also muß auch das Denken eines liebetätigen Menschen der Wahrheit entsprechen, weil Gottes Gegenwart sich durch den Geist im Menschen äußert, der dem Menschen die Wahrheit schenkt von innen heraus, denn nicht das Geistesgut, das von außen an den Menschen herangetragen wird, vermittelt ihm die Wahrheit, sondern erst das Denken des Menschen selbst, wie es sich zu jenem Geistesgut einstellt. Und dies bewirket der Geist, der durch ein Liebeleben erweckt wurde und nun unablässig tätig ist.... Darum werden die göttlichen Liebegebote immer wieder herausgestellt als allein vordringlich für des Menschen Seelenheil, denn sie müssen unbedingt erfüllt werden, will der Mensch sich in der Wahrheit bewegen, will er sich eines recht gelenkten Denkens erfreuen, will er von innen heraus belehrt werden und volles Verständnis erlangen für alles Geistige, was ihm unverständlich bleibt, solange er noch unerweckten Geistes ist. Aber sein Leben beginnt erst ihm volle Zufriedenheit zu geben, wenn er es erweckten Geistes vollbewußt leben kann, weil zuvor doch eine geistige Blindheit ihm alles verschließet, solange er nicht der göttlichen Liebegebote achtet.... solange er sich noch nicht selbst im Gesetz göttlicher Ordnung bewegt. Nur die Liebe stellt diese Ordnung her, nur die Liebe kläret sein Denken, nur die Liebe macht den Menschen sehend, und nur durch die Liebe lernet er erkennen, unterscheiden und recht denken und urteilen.... Dann aber ist auch Licht in ihm auf allen seinen Wegen.... Dann führet ihn der Geist aus Gott, den die Liebe erweckt hat zum Leben....
