The birth of Christ.... II.

No-one can judge the depth of divine love which expressed itself in the fact that God Himself descended to earth in order to accomplish the act of Salvation on behalf of humanity. He took pity on people's immeasurable guilt of sin, for the sinners themselves were unable to redeem it since the offence against God's love was fully consciously committed.... not because 'imperfection' made the being unable to recognise its offence against God but because these beings were brightly enlightened and therefore recognisedGod in His power and glory.... However, they were unable to see Him and therefore, despite better knowledge, followed the one who presented himself as God and Creator.... and they followed him because they were able to see him although they knew that he, too, was only a product of God's creative will and God's strength. The magnitude of the guilt rests in the fact that the beings were illuminated by the light of realisation and in the face of it turned away from their God and Creator of eternity. And it was impossible for them to redeem this immense guilt, for they were no longer able to undo the sin, they remained burdened by it, and the only option was for God to redeem the sin Himself.... but this, again, could only take place within the framework of divine justice, because every guilt demands atonement so that it can be redeemed. And in order to render this atonement for humanity, God descended to earth and accomplished the act of Salvation in the man Jesus....

God Himself was unable to suffer but He wanted to take the suffering upon Himself which the human race had deserved due to the sin of their past apostasy from God.... And this is why a human being, into Whose shell God Himself incarnated, took the suffering upon Himself.... the Eternal Love, Who thus wanted to offer the sacrifice, the sacrifice of atonement for the immense guilt.... A human being with a heart full of love allowed Himself to be nailed to the cross for the whole human race, and love alone motivated Him to accomplish this act of compassion. A human being with all human weaknesses and fears took a bitter earthly path and the love within Him consistently grew, for God Himself was in this human being and therefore the sayings and actions of the man Jesus were only ever motivated by love, just as love finally walked the bitter path of suffering and endured and died on the cross. It was no arbitrary act by a human being Who sacrificed Himself for His fellow human beings for the sake of an advantage, He was merely impelled by love to accomplish the act of compassion, because He knew that their path to the kingdom of light was and had to remain closed to them if they were not released from their guilt of sin first.... He knew what the original sin consisted of and that they would never be able to make

Amends for this sin by themselves. And therefore He volunteered to offer God the sacrifice of atonement in order to redeem His fellow human beings.... In truth, however, love within Him caused Him to do so; it was the Eternal Love Itself, Which thus wanted to redeem people from their inconceivable guilt, for the Eternal Deity sheltered in the human being in full abundance.

And so God's human manifestation has to be understood such that the Eternal Love embodied Itself in a human being Who prepared Himself in a way that the Eternal Love was able to dwell in Him and that therefore everything the human being Jesus did in earthly life was in truth done by God Himself.... that 'love' determined the human being Jesus' every intention, thought and action, that the human being certainly suffered and died on the cross but that God Himself was in this man, that He therefore accomplished the act of Salvation for humanity. Only when people comprehend that God is Love will they also comprehend the problem of God's human manifestation and they will understand that God and Jesus Christ are one, that they are not two persons, and that the divine Oneness may not be contested, because love permeated the human shell and therefore the external form of the human being Jesus was also the visible form of the divine Love Itself, that they were not separate Beings but only ever God Himself. The problem of God's human manifestation can only be solved in this way, but then a person will also find it easy to acknowledge Jesus, and he will take refuge in Him and by calling upon Him he will call God Himself, thus acknowledging Him. And his original sin will be wiped out, because God Himself descended to earth for his guilt and has accomplished the act of Salvation, the act of atonement, on his behalf....

Nașterea lui Hristos....

Nimeni nu poate măsura profunzimea iubirii divine care s-a exprimat prin coborârea lui Dumnezeu însuși pe Pământ pentru a împlini lucrarea de răscumpărare a omenirii. I-a fost milă de imensa vină a păcatului oamenilor, pentru că nu putea fi răscumpărată de păcătoșii înșiși, pentru că ofensa adusă iubirii lui Dumnezeu a avut loc în cea mai deplină conștiință a vinovăției.... pentru că nu "imperfecțiunea" nu a fost cea care nu a permis ființei să recunoască ofensa adusă lui Dumnezeu, ci pentru că aceste ființe se aflau în cea mai strălucitoare lumină și, prin urmare, L-au recunoscut și ele pe Dumnezeu în puterea și gloria Sa.... Dar ele nu L-au văzut și de aceea, împotriva unei mai bune cunoașteri, L-au urmat pe cel care se prezenta ca Dumnezeu și Creator.... L-au urmat pentru că îl vedeau, deși știau că și el era doar un produs al voinței Creatorului și al puterii lui Dumnezeu. În aceasta constă măreția vinovăției că ființele au stat în lumina cunoașterii și totuși s-au îndepărtat de Dumnezeul și Creatorul lor din veșnicie. Iar ele nu mai puteau răscumpăra această mare vină, nu mai puteau anula păcatul, rămâneau împovărate de el, și nu mai rămânea decât o singură posibilitate, ca Dumnezeu însuși să răscumpere vina.... care, însă, nu se putea întâmpla decât în cadrul justiției divine, pentru că orice vină necesită o ispășire pentru a fi răscumpărată. Și pentru a face această ispășire pentru umanitate, Dumnezeu s-a înălțat pe Pământ și a săvârșit lucrarea de răscumpărare în ființa umană Iisus...... Dumnezeu Însuși nu putea să sufere, dar a vrut să ia asupra Sa suferința pe care omenirea o merita pentru păcatul apostaziei din trecut de la Dumnezeu.... Și de aceea, o ființă umană a luat asupra sa această suferință, în al cărei înveliș s-a întrupat Dumnezeu.... Iubirea veșnică, care voia acum să ofere jertfa, jertfa răscumpărătoare pentru marea vină.... O ființă umană, a cărei inimă era plină de iubire, s-a lăsat răstignită pentru întreaga omenire, și numai iubirea l-a determinat să facă această lucrare de milă. O ființă umană, cu toate slăbiciunile și temerile umane, a parcurs un amar drum pământesc și iubirea din El a crescut tot mai mult, căci Dumnezeu Însuși era în această ființă umană și, de aceea, numai iubirea l-a determinat pe Iisus, omul, să vorbească și să acționeze, așa cum și iubirea a parcurs în cele din urmă drumul amar al suferinței și a suferit și a murit pe cruce.... Nu a fost un act arbitrar al unei ființe umane care S-a sacrificat pentru semenii Săi de dragul unui avantaj, în schimb, El a fost pur și simplu împins de iubire să săvârșească acest act de milă pentru că știa că drumul spre împărăția luminii era și trebuia să rămână închis pentru ei dacă nu se absolveau mai întâi de vina păcatului.... El știa în ce consta păcatul originar și că ei nu vor putea niciodată să răscumpere această vină pe cont propriu. De aceea, El S-a oferit pe Sine însuși lui Dumnezeu ca jertfă de ispășire pentru a-i răscumpăra pe semenii Săi..... Dar, în realitate, iubirea din el a fost cea care l-a determinat să facă acest lucru; a fost însăși Iubirea eternă care a vrut astfel să-i răscumpere pe oameni de imensa lor vină, căci Dumnezeirea eternă s-a ascuns în ființa umană în plinătatea ei. Astfel, întruparea lui Dumnezeu trebuie înțeleasă ca întruchiparea Iubirii Eterne într-o ființă umană, care s-a pregătit astfel încât Iubirea Eternă să poată locui în El și astfel tot ceea ce a făcut ființa umană Iisus în viața pământească a fost în realitate făcut de Dumnezeu Însuși în El.... această "iubire" a determinat voința, gândirea și acțiunile ființei umane Iisus, astfel că ființa umană a suferit și a murit pe cruce, dar Dumnezeu Însuși era în această ființă umană, astfel că El a săvârșit actul de Mântuire pentru toți oamenii. Numai atunci când oamenii vor înțelege că Dumnezeu este iubire vor înțelege și problema întrupării lui Dumnezeu și vor înțelege că Dumnezeu și Iisus Hristos sunt una, că nu sunt două persoane, ci că unitatea divină nu poate fi contestată pentru că iubirea a umplut învelișul uman și astfel forma exterioară a omului Iisus a fost și forma vizibilă a iubirii divine însăși, că nu au fost ființe separate, ci întotdeauna Dumnezeu Însuși. Numai în acest fel se poate rezolva problema întrupării lui Dumnezeu, dar atunci va fi ușor și pentru ființa umană să-l recunoască pe Iisus, se va refugia în El și Îl va chema pe Dumnezeu Însuși cu chemarea Sa, recunoscându-L astfel. Iar păcatul său originar va fi șters pentru că Dumnezeu Însuși a coborât pe Pământ pentru vina lui și a săvârșit lucrarea de răscumpărare, lucrarea de ispășire, pentru el....
