Spiritual working of love.... Need of the soul....

People lack clear knowledge, they walk along in confused thinking, they are unable to detect any relations, their thoughts move along wrong paths, they do not tell error from truth.... There is still no light in them because they have not yet escaped the darkness which has been their lot since their former apostasy from God.... when they became lightless through their own fault. But neither do people make an effort to attain clear realisation, although this is their actual task on earth. They do not feel their lightless state to be deficient, they content themselves with worthless knowledge, they are completely indifferent towards the truth and do not desire insight where they are completely ignorant. This is an obvious sign that they are still under the sway of the one who caused the spiritual darkness. It is a sign that their will is not directed upwards, otherwise a light would also shine to them from there. And people cannot be forced into a different attitude, they cannot be forcibly put into a state because free will must be respected. And therefore there is only one way to wrest people from this dark spiritual state.... a spiritual working of love, which alone promises success.... Those people are powerless as long as they have not yet kindled light within themselves.... But only love can kindle light.... If people lack love due to their affiliation with God's adversary, then they will never be able to gain light and strength either.... And therefore strength must be given to them by those who already possess light and strength.... They must be remembered with love and their spiritual salvation must be desired with a loving heart.... Something must be offered in utmost patience and love which increases their knowledge, which gives them a small light.... Such a gift is usually rejected by those who are still completely blind in spirit. But the degree of love is decisive in which such a gift is offered to the fellow human being. All vineyard labourers should always bear in mind that love offers a certain guarantee for the success of their vineyard labour. The right servant knows about the spiritual need of the one who is still completely destitute of light, and this need must touch his heart and drive him to help him.... Then it is a work of unselfish neighbourly love, it is an act of mercy which will also not remain unsuccessful, for the soul feels this love and wakes up, it feels the darkness as torment and longs for light, and this desire alone now also ensures that it receives light. Just as you humans should not pass by your fellow human being's earthly hardship, you should even more keep in mind the spiritual need which will have its effect in eternity.... And you should try to control this destitution and only ever think of the soul's state with love and thus want to help the soul enter the light.... if the human being as such is unable to awaken love in his heart.... The soul is pitiful, it is as helpless as a child and.... when its physical shell leaves it destitute.... dependent on the help of its fellow human being who can now provide it with strength through love. You humans do not know what an enormous force love is.... And everything you undertake with love will succeed. And your love is like a bright light in the darkness which cannot be driven away by the darkness but which breaks through the darkness and brings illumination everywhere.... And anyone who gets into such a beam of light, for whom your love is intended in particular, will also inevitably step into the light, he will detach from his ignorant state and always become brighter in spirit, then love will have conquered the darkness....

L’agire spirituale d’amore - La miseria dell’anima

Agli uomini manca la chiara conoscenza, camminano nel pensare confuso, non sono capaci di trovare alcun collegamento, i loro pensieri si muovono in vie sbagliate, non possono discernere l’errore dalla Verità. In loro non c’è ancora nessuna Luce, perché non sono ancora sfuggiti all’oscurità, che è la loro sorte sin dalla caduta di una volta da Dio, quando sono diventati oscuri attraverso la propria colpa. Ma gli uomini non si sforzano nemmeno di giungere alla chiara conoscenza, benché questa sia il loro vero compito terreno. Non percepiscono il loro stato oscuro come imperfetto, si accontentano con un sapere inutile, sono totalmente indifferenti di fronte alla Verità e non desiderano nessun Chiarimento, dove sono totalmente ignari. Questo è un evidente segno, che sono ancora nel potere di colui, che si è incolpato dell’oscurità. E’ un segno, che la loro volontà non è rivolta verso l’Alto, altrimenti da lì splenderebbe loro una Luce. E gli uomini non possono essere costretti ad un'altra predisposizione, non possono essere trasportati in uno stato con la forza, perché dev’essere rispettata la libera volontà. E perciò esiste solo una possibilità di strappare gli uomini da questo stato spirituale oscuro, un agire spirituale nell’amore, che è l’unico a promettere successo. Quegli uomini sono inermi, finché non hanno ancora acceso in sé nessuna Luce. Ma solo l’amore può accendere la Luce. Se agli uomini manca l’amore in seguito alla loro appartenenza all’avversario di Dio, allora non potranno nemmeno mai giungere a Luce e Forza. E perciò a loro dev’essere rivolta la Forza da parte di coloro, che possiedono già Luce e Forza. A loro si deve pensare nell’amore e la loro salvezza spirituale dev’essere desiderata dal cuore amabile. A loro dev’essere offerto nell’estrema pazienza ed amore, qualcosa che aumenta il loro sapere, che dona loro una piccola Luce. Un tale regalo viene quasi sempre respinto da coloro che sono ancora totalmente ciechi nello spirito. Il grado dell’amore però decide un tale dono che viene offerto al prossimo. Gli operai della Vigna devono sempre di nuovo tenersi davanti agli occhi, che l’amore offre una certa garanzia per il successo del loro lavoro da Vigna. Il vero servo conosce la miseria spirituale di colui, che è ancora totalmente nel buio, e questa miseria deve toccare il suo cuore e spingerlo ad aiutare il sofferente. Allora è un’opera dell’amore disinteressato per il prossimo, è un atto di misericordia, che non rimarrà nemmeno senza successo, perché l’anima sente l’amore e si risveglia, ora sente l’oscurità come tormento ed ha nostalgia per la Luce, e già questo desiderio le assicura anche la ricezione di Luce. Per quanto voi uomini non dovete passare oltre alla miseria del prossimo, che lo opprime in modo terreno, così dovete tenervi ancora molto di più davanti agli occhi la miseria spirituale, che ha l’effetto nell’Eternità. E dovete dapprima cercare di guidare questa miseria e pensare sempre soltanto colmi d’amore allo stato dell’anima ed aiutarla quindi a voler la Luce, quando l’uomo come tale non è in grado di risvegliare l’amore nel suo cuore. L’amore è compassionevole, è inerme come un bambino e, quando il suo involucro corporeo la fa languire, dipende dall’aiuto del prossimo, che ora le può rivolgere la Forza tramite l’amore. Voi uomini non sapete quale imponente Forza sia l’amore. E tutto ciò che intraprendete nell’amore, riuscirà. Il vostro amore è come una raggiante Luce nell’oscurità, che non può essere scacciato da quest’ultima, ma che fa breccia nella stessa e porta ovunque il chiarimento. E chi capita in un tale bagliore di Luce, a chi è rivolto in particolare il vostro amore, entrerà anche irrevocabilmente nella Luce, si staccherà dal suo stato senza conoscenza ed il suo spirito sarà sempre più illuminato, allora l’amore ha vinto la tenebra.
