God's help for a change of will....

No human heart remains hidden from Me, all impulses lie open before Me, all desires and cravings, be they of a spiritual or worldly nature.... I know about all faults and also about all virtues, I know about every individual person's distance to Me, I know about his direction of will, about his degree of love, and even the most secret thoughts are not hidden from Me.... And therefore I use such means with every person which promise success.... Yet the freedom of will remains untouched, which is why those means can just as well remain unsuccessful. Yet each person is considered according to his spiritual state, which alone is obvious to Me. For I am not deceived by words spoken by the mouth or by external gestures of piety, because I look into the heart.... And thus I also know what ails humanity and why it can be helped so little.... It does not seek contact with Him who sees and knows everything.... It believes that man is as foreign to Me as I am to man.... It does not believe in the close connection between the creator and His creatures.... It does not seek Him to Whom it owes life.... And it cannot be forced into a change of thinking, for the only medicine for its illness would be My word, and this it must listen to and live out in free will in order to change its degree of realization, thus to learn to think right.... Although I know the human being's every innermost heartfelt emotion, I respect free will and can only ever consider the human being in accordance with it. This human free will binds My power because I do not violate My law of order, no matter how great the spiritual adversity may be.... Yet everything happens which could change this free will, which is why the human being is sometimes approached by unusual events which can bring this about. And where only the slightest change of will is recognizable My love always finds new means which are truly used wisely because I want to win the human being for Myself. And thus My everlasting concern applies to you humans until the last hour on this earth.... I do not turn away from the one who does not desire communion with Me.... I nevertheless accompany him on his earthly path, only unrecognized by him but always imperceptibly influencing him without determining his thoughts and conduct on this earth.... And I also occasionally succeed in addressing him and finding his attention, precisely because I see every stirring of his heart and can then also take advantage of it when it seems favourable to Me. Thus I look after every individual person's life, and no one goes there without spiritual guidance.... Yet many have not taken a step forward until the hour of death, and therefore I call them away if only the slightest possibility still exists that the will in the beyond will still change, if loving intercession follows them into that kingdom.... I make use of all conceivable possibilities in order to help the soul to ascend, and I pass by no person without assisting him.... but neither do I force a person to accept My assistance. Yet only what he uses of his own free will will bring him forward. And thus commandments can still and still be issued by people, they will not result in any spiritual advantage for him, because a compulsory fulfilment of even the noblest commandment is worthless for the soul.... yet the smallest voluntary act of love signifies progress, and because I recognize this great spiritual hardship I constantly endeavour to convey My word to people, which alone can change their thinking and will if they willingly listen to it and live accordingly....

의지를 바꾸는 일에 위해 주는 하나님의 도움.

어떤 사람의 심장도 나에게 숨겨져 있지 않고 모든 충동과 모든 소원과 욕망등이 영적인 종류이건 세상적인 종류이건 내 앞에 들어난다. 나는 모든 실수와 모든 미덕을 알고 각 개인의 나와 떨어진 간격을 안다. 나는 그의 의지의 방향과 그의 사랑의 정도와 가장 은밀한 생각조차도 나에게 숨겨져 있지 않다. 그러므로 나는 모든 사람에게 성공을 약속하는 수단을 사용한다. 그러나 의지의 자유는 간섭을 받지 않는다. 그러므로 이런 수단이 마찬가지로 성공하지 못할 수 있다.

그러나 모든 사람이 자신의 영적인 상태에 따라 받게 된다. 나는 입으로 하는 말이나 또는 경건한 외적인 몸짓에 속지 않는다. 왜냐면 내가 심장을 들여다보기 때문이다. 그러나 나는 또한 인류가 병에 걸려있고 그들을 왜 아주 적게 도울 수 있는 지를 안다. 그들은 모든 것을 보고 아는 분과 접촉을 구하지 않고 그들은 내가 사람을 알지 못하는 것처럼 사람이 나를 알지 못한다고 믿는다. 그들은 창조주와 그의 피조물 사이의 밀접한 관계를 믿지 않고 그들은 그에게 생명을 준 분을 찾지 않는다. 그들이 생각을 바꾸도록 그들에게 강요할 수 없다. 그러나 그들의 질병을 위한 유일한 약은 내 말씀이다. 그들은 그들의 깨달음의 정도를 바꾸기 위해 즉 올바르게 생각하는 법을 배우기 위해 자유의지로 내 말씀을 들어야만 하고 내 말씀 대로 살아야만 한다.

내가 비록 인간의 심장의 모든 내면의 움직임을 알지라도 나는 자유의지를 존중하고 항상 자유의지에 따라 사람을 도울 수 있다. 이런 인간의 자유의지가 내 권세를 묶는다. 왜냐면 영적인 위험이 아무리 크다 할지라도 내가 질서의 법칙을 어기지 않기 때문이다. 그러나 이런 자유의지를 바꿀 수 있는 모든 일이 일어난다. 그러므로 때때로 사람들의 자유의지를 바꿀 수 있는 특별한 사건들이 그들에게 일어난다. 가장 작은 의지의 변화를 깨달을 수 있는 곳에서 내 사랑은 항상 새로운 수단을 찾고 이 수단은 진실로 지혜롭게 사용 된다. 왜냐면 내가 사람을 나를 위해 얻기를 원하기 때문이다.

그러므로 이 땅의 마지막 순간까지 내 끊임 없는 관심이 너희 사람들에게 향한다. 나와의 교제를 갈망하지 않는 사람을 나는 외면하지 않고 그럴지라도 그의 이 땅의 길에 동행하고 단지 그가 알지 못하게 동행한다. 그러나 항상 눈치채지 못하게 그의 생각과 이 땅의 삶을 그에게 정해주지 않으면서 그에게 영향을 미친다. 이 가운데 나는 그에게 말을 걸고 그의 관심을 얻는 일에 성공한다. 왜냐면 내가 그의 심장의 모든 움직임을 보고 이런 움직임이 나에게 유리할 때 이를 활용할 수 있기 때문이다.

그러므로 나는 모든 사람의 삶을 돌보고 어느 누구도 영적인 인도가 없이 살지 않는다. 그러나 많은 사람들이 죽음의 순간까지 한 발짝도 더 나가지 못한다. 그러므로 그들에게 사랑의 중보가 저세상까지 뒤따르고 저세상에서 그의 의지가 아직 변할 단지 가장 작은 가능성이라도 있다면, 나는 그들을 불러드린다. 나는 혼이 상장하도록 돕기 위해 상상할 수 있는 모든 가능성을 사용하고 어떤 사람도 도움을 주지 않으면서 지나치지 않는다. 그러나 나는 또한 누구에게도 내 도움을 받도록 강요하지 않는다.

그러나 그가 단지 자유의지로 활용하는 일이 그를 앞으로 나가게 만들 것이다. 그러므로 아직 사람들의 편에서 계명을 계속하여 만들어 선포할 수 있지만 그러나 그런 계명은 영적인 유익을 주지 못하게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 가장 고귀한 계명조차도 강제로 성취시킨다면 혼에게 쓸모가 없기 때문이다. 그러나 자원하는 가장 작은 사랑을 행하는 일은 성장을 의미한다. 내가 큰 영적 위험을 깨닫기 때문에 나는 쉬지 않고 사람들 가운데 내 말씀을 전하기 위해 노력한다. 사람들이 자원하여 내 말씀을 듣고 내 말씀 대로 살면, 내 말씀이 유일하게 그들의 생각과 소원을 바꿀 수 있다.
