Spiritual rebirth....

The turning point in your life is the hour when you tread the spiritual path, the hour when your thoughts venture into an area which is to be sought outside of the earthly.... the hour when you become aware of the outcome, thus realize that a higher being has created you, on Whom you are now dependent, both in body and soul.... This hour can be the beginning of a rapid ascent upwards for you, as soon as from then on you concern yourselves more with such thoughts than with earthly thoughts; but it can also take a long time until you have detached yourselves from the world, thus your thoughts can repeatedly wander back into the earthly world, and then it will take a struggle until you finally continue unswervingly on the path which you have recognized as the only right one. If only you find it at all during your life on earth.... If the human being has an earthly life on earth which fully satisfies him, then he will hardly take that path, instead he will intoxicate himself again and again, and his senses are extremely firmly rooted to earth, he can hardly detach himself, and he must be prompted by strokes of fate to think differently.... What hinders him from finding the right path has to be taken away from him.... And this shows that it would not be a blessing for the human being's development if the human being were granted an easy and beautiful earthly life, for in such a life it would take far longer if there was any prospect at all of a change of the human being's will. And yet, sorrow and suffering need not necessarily be life's companions, for it is possible for the human being to develop love for his neighbour in every situation of life, and it is this love which certainly also leads on the path to spiritual rebirth.... It is love which will always direct thoughts towards the eternal love Itself, Which then inevitably takes possession of every human being and draws him onto the right path.... How beautifully you humans could therefore all live on earth and also enjoy this life if you wanted to shape your being into love.... Then it would truly not be necessary to let yourselves go through hardship and suffering, then your thoughts would very often be in those spheres, although earthly life would also give you what makes you happy.... The purpose of your earthly life is the transformation into love, the transformation of the self-love dwelling in you into unselfish neighbourly love.... What you now do voluntarily, out of yourselves, need not first be achieved by means which are painful for you.... You would not need to suffer if you would kindle love within yourselves and let it flare up into brightest embers.... For then the purpose of earthly life would have been achieved, that you had taken the path which leads upwards, then your thoughts will cross over into that kingdom far more often, even if you have tasks to fulfil on earth or are placed in a circle of duties which demands much of you.... You will do justice to both, but your soul will soon feel more at ease in the spheres into which its spirit pushes it than where the body still has to stay.... Yet adversity and suffering can be alien to the human being, for then he will also live in accordance with God's will without such, and God's blessing is assured to him earthly and spiritually.... For He has promised people that He will take fatherly care of His children.... and love for God and one's neighbour proves God's childship.... it leads to complete union with Him and eternal bliss....

Geistige Wiedergeburt....

Der Wendepunkt in eurem Leben ist die Stunde, da ihr den geistigen Weg beschreitet, die Stunde, wo sich eure Gedanken in ein Gebiet wagen, das außerhalb des Irdischen zu suchen ist.... die Stunde, da ihr euch des Ausganges bewußt werdet, also erkennet, daß ein höheres Wesen euch geschaffen hat, von Dem ihr nun abhängig seid, sowohl dem Körper als auch der Seele nach.... Diese Stunde nun kann für euch der Anfang sein eines schnellen Aufstieges zur Höhe, sowie ihr euch von nun an mehr mit solchen als mit irdischen Gedanken befaßet; es kann aber auch lange dauern, bis ihr euch von der Welt gelöst habt, also es können eure Gedanken immer wieder in die irdische Welt zurückschweifen, und es kostet dann einen Kampf, bis ihr endlich unbeirrlich den Weg weitergehet, den ihr erkannt habt als den allein rechten. Wenn ihr ihn nur überhaupt findet während eures Erdenlebens.... Hat nun der Mensch ein irdisch ihn vollbefriedigendes Leben auf Erden, dann schlägt er schwerlich jenen Weg ein, sondern er berauscht sich immer wieder, und seine Sinne sind überaus fest mit der Erde verwurzelt, er kann sich schwerlich lösen, und er muß durch Schicksalsschläge zu anderem Denken veranlaßt werden.... es muß ihm genommen werden, was ihm hinderlich ist, den rechten Weg zu finden.... Und daraus geht hervor, daß für die Entwicklung des Menschen es nicht von Segen wäre, wenn dem Menschen ein leichtes und schönes Erdenleben beschieden wäre, denn in einem solchen würde es weit länger dauern, wenn überhaupt die Aussicht besteht auf eine Willenswandlung des Menschen. Und doch brauchen nicht unbedingt Kummer und Leid Lebensbegleiter sein, denn es ist dem Menschen möglich, in jeder Lebenslage die Liebe zum Nächsten in sich zu entfalten, und diese Liebe ist es, die sicher auch auf den Weg führt zur geistigen Wiedergeburt.... Die Liebe ist es, die stets auch die Gedanken hinlenken wird zu der ewigen Liebe Selbst, Die dann unweigerlich auch Besitz ergreift von jedem Menschen und ihn ziehet auf den rechten Weg.... Wie schön könntet ihr Menschen daher alle auf Erden leben und euch auch dieses Lebens erfreuen, wenn ihr euer Wesen zur Liebe gestalten möchtet.... Dann wäre es wahrlich nicht nötig, euch durch Not und Leiden gehen lassen zu müssen, dann wären eure Gedanken sehr oft in jenen Sphären, wenngleich euch auch das irdische Leben schenken würde, was euch beglückt.... Der Zweck eures Erdenlebens ist die Umgestaltung zur Liebe, die Wandlung der in euch wohnenden Ichliebe zur uneigennützigen Nächstenliebe.... Was ihr nun freiwillig, aus euch selbst, tut, das brauchte nicht erst durch Mittel erreicht zu werden, die für euch schmerzhafter Natur sind.... Ihr brauchtet nicht zu leiden, wenn ihr die Liebe in euch entzünden und zu hellster Glut auflodern lassen würdet.... Denn dann wäre der Erdenlebenszweck erreicht, daß ihr den Weg beschritten habt, der zur Höhe führt, dann werden eure Gedanken weit öfter in jenes Reich hinüberwechseln, selbst wenn ihr auf Erden Aufgaben zu erfüllen habt oder in einen Pflichtenkreis versetzt seid, der viel von euch verlangt.... Ihr werdet beidem gerecht werden, eure Seele aber wird sich bald in den Sphären wohler fühlen, in die ihr Geist sie drängt, als dort, wo sich der Körper noch aufhalten muß.... Doch Not und Leiden können dem Menschen fremd sein, denn er lebt dann auch ohne solche dem Willen Gottes entsprechend, und der Segen Gottes ist ihm irdisch und geistig gewiß.... Denn Er hat es den Menschen verheißen, daß Er väterlich sorget für Seine Kinder.... und die Liebe zu Gott und zum Nächsten beweiset die Kindschaft Gottes.... sie führt zum gänzlichen Zusammenschluß mit Ihm und ewiger Glückseligkeit....
