Body.... soul.... spirit.... unification task....

It is the human being's destiny that his soul should unite with the spirit within himself.... If this destiny is adhered to, then the soul's fate is already assured, then the earthly life has been successful when the soul departs from earth. At the beginning of embodiment both.... soul and spirit.... are still separated, for the soul, as an ego-conscious being, had voluntarily accomplished this separation. It must now voluntarily unite again, it itself must seek union with the spirit, it must reveal its willingness to love to the spirit, which is then also immediately ready to help it, for God Himself.... the father spirit from eternity.... now comes to meet it. He has an effect on the soul, for a spark of Himself is given to the soul for the earthly change, which now also has a guiding and instructing effect as part of God and draws the soul to Himself and thus also constantly pushes it towards the father-spirit of eternity.... Only the soul's unification with its spirit within itself needs to take place in order to also secure the final aim: the union with God, which signifies freedom and beatitude. It is a simple solution to find the meaning of life, and yet this solution is rarely sought by people only because it is incomprehensible to them as long as the soul has still remained completely unimpressed, as long as it has not yet granted the spiritual spark within itself the right to instruct them.... as long as it has not yet bridged the separation between itself and the spirit through its own working of love.... as long as it does not recognize its purpose of earthly life, and its thinking and desire is only earthly directed.... and as long as its earthly life is also unsuccessful and does not earn it the slightest ascent, for the unification of spirit and soul is the purpose and aim of its earthly change. And since this unification is and will always remain an act of free will, the human being's will can only ever be influenced by God and the world of light so that he takes a different direction than before, yet always with respect for his freedom, which therefore requires great patience and perseverance. The spiritual low would not be so alarmingly low if humanity's will could be forcibly directed, yet this would be worthless for the individual person's spiritual development, even if a state of peace would then be recognizable on earth instead of the present adversity.... Freedom of will must be preserved, even if this results in a sinking of the essence into the depths.... People must voluntarily return to God, voluntarily they must change the self-love dwelling in them into unselfish neighbourly love and thereby accomplish the unification of their soul with the spirit.... Yet in every way they will find support from God and the world of light, for all events in earthly life approach people in such a way that a change of will is possible.... Imperceptibly the soul is drawn by God.... and as soon as it is willing to relinquish its former resistance it will be seized by God's love.... then it will give ear to the spirit within itself, and then it can no longer eternally sink back into the kingdom of darkness....

Corpo - Anima - Spirito - Il compito dell’unificazione

E’ nella destinazione dell’uomo che la sua anima si unisca con lo spirito in sé. Se viene osservata questa destinazione, allora è anche già assicurata la sorte dell’anima, allora la vita terrena è stata di successo, quando l’anima decede dalla Terra. All’inizio dell’incorporazione ambedue, l’anima e lo spirito, sono ancora separati, perché l’anima come essere auto consapevole aveva svolto questa separazione. Si deve ora di nuovo unire liberamente, lei stessa deve cercare l’unificazione con lo spirito, deve rivelare la sua disponibilità per l’amore allo spirito, il quale è poi anche subito pronto ad aiutarla, perché le viene ora incontro Dio Stesso, lo Spirito di Padre dall’Eternità. Egli agisce sull’anima, perché le è stata data una scintilla di Sé Stesso per il cammino terreno, che ora opera anche come Parte di Dio in modo conducente ed istruendo ed attira l’anima a Sé e quindi la spinge anche costantemente incontro allo Spiriti di Padre dall’Eternità. Deve aver luogo solo l’unificazione dell’anima con il suo spirito in sé per assicurare anche la definitiva meta: l’unificazione con Dio, che significa libertà e Beatitudine. E’ una semplice soluzione trovare il senso della vita e questa semplice soluzione viene comunque cercata poco dagli uomini, perché per loro è incomprensibile, finché l’anima è rimasta ancora totalmente non-impressionata, finché non ha ancora assegnato alla scintilla spirituale in sé il diritto di istruirla, finché non ha ancora pontificata la separazione fra sé e lo spirito attraverso un proprio agire nell’amore, fino ad allora non riconosce lo scopo della sua vita terrena ed il suo pensare e desiderare è orientato solo in modo terreno, e fino ad allora la sua vita terrena è anche senza successo e non le procura la minima risalita, perché l’unificazione dello spirito con l’anima è lo scopo e la meta del suo cammino terreno. E dato che quest’unificazione è e rimarrà sempre un atto della libera volontà, può essere agito sulla volontà dell’uomo sempre soltanto dalla Parte di Dio e del mondo di Luce, che prenda un’altra direzione che finora, ma sempre sotto l’osservanza della sua libertà, che perciò richiede pazienza e perseveranza oltremodo grande. Lo stato spirituale non sarebbe così spaventosamente basso, se la volontà dell’umanità potesse essere orientata con costrizione, ma questo sarebbe senza valore per lo sviluppo spirituale del singolo uomo persino, se poi sulla Terra ci fosse riconoscibile uno stato di pace al posto dell’attuale miseria. Deve rimanere rispettata la libertà della volontà anche, se questo ha per conseguenza uno sprofondare dell’essenziale nell’abisso. Gli uomini devono ritornare liberamente a Dio, liberamente devono cambiare l’amore dell’io che dimora in loro nell’amore disinteressato per il prossimo e con ciò svolgere l’unificazione della loro anima con lo spirito. Ma trovano in ogni modo il Sostegno dalla Parte di Dio e del mondo di Luce, perché tutti gli avvenimenti nella vita terrena si avvicinano agli uomini in modo che è possibile un cambiamento della volontà. L’anima viene attirata da Dio impercettibilmente, ed appena è soltanto disposta di rinunciare alla resistenza di una volta, viene afferrata dall’Amore di Dio, allora dà ascolto allo spirito in sé ed allora non può più eternamente sprofondare nel regno dell’oscurità.
